To start off, the Name Rinoa I derived from my favorite video game of all time; Final Fantasy VIII. In the story, the love interest (Rinoa Heartilly) to the main protagonist (Squall Leonhart) becomes possessed by an evil sorceress & upon becoming free of her spell, Rinoa gains magical powers of her own In turn; making Rinoa a sorceress & her lover, Squall her knight & protector.

What is an Elementalist?

Like a mage, An Elementalist uses powers of destruction that are drawn from an affinity with the four elements that make up the world. They conjure air, fire, earth or water to assault their enemies. They use weapons such as Staff, Scepter, daggers & a Focus. A focus is a small magical instrument that helps channel a caster's power into a more defensive type while Daggers are for more up close & an Elementalist can actually blow fire & ice, burning or freezing their opponents. Scepter's are a mix of offensive & defensive spells while a staff shows the raw power of the Elementalist - Causing fire storms, healing rains, lightning storms & earthquakes. Rinoa uses a staff as her main hand weapon.

About her:

Rinoa is an Elementalist, which is a magical profession in the GW world. Her focus is Water/ice/ ocean magic which gives her a strong upper hand when it comes to healing & support.
She has mid-waist length, black hair that is styled in an elaborate mermaid/fishtail braid. (It's white to show the details, bc you cant see them when her hair is black-Ref: Hair1 )
Drawing her hair, you can also just give her a pretty fishtail braid, or her hair even pinned back while most falls; she never just has her hair down though.
Her armor remains TBA.

Personality:

Rinoa is a respectable young Elementalist, she was born into nobility & raised among politicians giving her an edge & not exactly making her the approachable type, she is often arguing with other guild leaders if she questions their judgements. (A guild leader is someone who leads a guild, which is why Guild wars is called such, a guild is like a large group that can consist of hundreds of players brought together under 1 house so to speak. There are many types of guilds in the world & leaders are well known & usually thought highly of & make important decisions that can make or break their guild.) This makes her come off as somewhat arrogant & headstrong; Rinoa also doesn't mind putting someone in their place which has given her a more strict & 'by-the-book' reputation among her friends. This demeanor strongly over shadows her more private & compassionate self. Although everyone either knows Rinoa or is familiar with her, not even her closest companions could tell you hardly anything about Rinoa's personal life; aside her being a noble.

Alistair:

Appearance: Soft, cuddly & small. He has rosy cheeks & button eyes. Alistair has light brown & cream markings along with stitching that holds him together. He wears a colorful necklace made out of Buttons & ribbons. --- > Reference: Alistair , 2 , 3 , 4, 5

About him:
Alistair is a super adorable magical toy Griffon plush brought to life by the famous Asuran Toy maker, Tixx. It was during the Magical & mystical Wintersday celebration, (which is basically Christmas in GW). Rinoa & several of her guild members ventured into Tixx's airship which actually turned out to be a giant toy winter-land workshop- Many of the toys in it weren't ready to be released as they still had many kinks- among all of them being in particular, a griffon plush being bullied by a gang of malfunctioning Princess Dolls. After taking care of all the malfunctioning toys & gadgets; saving what good toys were left- To Rinoa's slight dismay, all of the Griffon plushies were torn apart by a hoard of Malfunctioning Toys. As a Gift in saving Tixx's workshop, Rinoa & her crew were all given separate pieces of Toy parts; stuffing, glue, cogs & the frame of a toy- Tixx told them to combine the pieces in Lions Arch Mystic forge (which is a giant couldron in the middle of a great city that when you combine certain items together, legendary items are created). When doing so, a magical toy emerged; a single griffon plush that instantly took to Rinoa. She quickly grew attached to him & easily came up with a name; Alistair.

Mermaids Tales

The first mermaid, a tale of the origin of my mermaids~

Long before there was fire, there was water.
Before there were any known settlements or kingdoms, Five God-like beings walked the earth with mortals. The mortal beings communicated through totems, markings & music- there was no actual spoken language. Above everything, they were humble & pure but like with everything, time changed the humans. The five entities had given the humans gifts, teaching them how to speak & passed great knowledge unto them; they swelled the seas with great creatures & adorned the lands with animals for the mortals to hunt. Able to provide for themselves, the five Gods returned to once they came. Over many, many years humans built great cities, turning corrupt & greedy- they hunted animals for fun, wiping out many- humans even hunted each other just for 'sport' Seeing a need for mankind to be punish in some way, the five entities each seperated to a corner of the world. Their plan was to create great beasts that would plague man- devour their children & ravage the lands. Each God took a creature, a reptile, a lion, a bird & a fish; reproducing with these creatures & as they would have it, monstrous beings were born. Born from the reptile a Dragon, from the lion a Manticore, from the bird a Harpey & the fish gave birth to thousands of what would be known as merfolk.

Some little notes about the mermaids; Mermaids are not sirens. Mermaids do not intentionally drown people. Almost all of the merfolk race has the ability to grow legs, excluding some mermen & mermaids like Nightshade.
~Also, there are mermen, but they are extremely rare & hard to find. Most mermen are more aggressive, even violent towards other mermen & even mermaids. Many times, when one merman takes an interest in a particular mermaid, he is often not the only one- mermen will try to win their potential mate over by dueling/wrestling or even fighting to the death. Mermen also look different physically, most have longer & more masculine tails/fins. The more naturally aggressive ones can even have shark-like features. Often times, their skin pigments are regular human tones, ranging from pale to brown- rarer tones being hues of gray, red, green or even blue. Mermen also possess the affinity of 'magic' in which they can control natural elements of water, air & even aquatic life.

Nightshade:

Also called Dahlia; Nightshade was born from both wealthy, human parents. Her mother was named Natasla & her father was called Viktor. A sea nymph cursed Natasla to transform into a grotesque creature from the sea when she denied her son's proposal, but the curse had no immediate affect; instead the nymphs curse made it's mark on Natasla's womb, affecting her unborn child. When Nightshade was born, it was on a cold & rainy day. The curse mutated the newborn's legs, giving her an extra-eight-pair of appendages. When Nightshade's parents had looked upon the infant, it was in fear & disgust so Viktor had sent one of the female servants to retrieve the newborn & cast her into the unforgiving tide. On her way to the rocky shores, the servant soon spotted what appeared to be a mermaid grooming her hair. Feeling pity for young nightshade, the servant instead gave her to the mermaid, who soon vanished beneath the waves. Presently: Nightshade has no ties or memory of her former life; She never surfaces, mostly lingering around sunken shipyards & well shadowed areas. Often returning to a hidden grotto. Nightshade's overall aura is somewhat ghostlike & dark. (not emo) She uses methods of seduction to get her way but prefers to be left alone. Her hair is midnight black, almost with a purple or midnight blue tint. Nightshades eyes are a deep, clear purple & her skin is pale. She has a womanly, hourglass-like frame. She also wears a giant, pinkish conch shell in her hair (right above & behind her ear) with more small assortments of sparkly trinkets. small Barnacles also have begun to grow along Nightshades arms & lower back.

Azure:

Named after her mother, a mermaid named Terra-Azura; Azure dwells in the warm, shallow teal waters of Costa Rica, commonly finding herself near a quaint fishing village. Her overall appearance resembles the ancient,exotic native tribes that had once inhabited the region. In basic terms: Her skin is golden/bronze but not black. Her hair is a carmel 'sun-kissed' brown, almost matching her skin tone. Azure's eyes are a mixture of golds, blues & greens (gold around the pupil, then green then blue). Her eyelashes are long & golden. Azure is adorned with gold jewels & an assortment of rainbow beading & pearls, many that her mother had passed down to her. Azure is a light-hearted, somewhat shy mermaid. She loves the warmth of the sun & is often surfaced. Azure also causes abit of trouble for a young fisherman who is oblivious to Azure's existence; she lingers around his nets & baits, snatching his fish & teasing him by pulling on his fishing wire. Azure lives among a coral reef.

Persephone:

Persephone lives in dark, stormy oceans & mainly surfaces in the evenings to gaze at the night sky, because it reminds her of a "love" she had felt long ago (it was a human sailor that hadn't taken notice of Persephone.) She has an overall melancholic demeanor & is one of the few mermaids with the ability to sing; this due to her mother, Parthenope; being an actual siren, not a mermaid. (Originally, Sirens were not mermaids, they were winged women with enchanting voices that dwelled near rocks & sung sailors to their deaths.) One night as Persephone begins her song, it catches the attention of a nearby merman, known as Erebus. He is captivated by Persephone & takes her for himself. Persephone has extremely long, beautiful ebony black hair that is adorned with pearls; also, her hair is all mainly one length, meaning she has no bangs. Probably the shortest part of her hair falls down to her waist. Persephone's hair is flowy & hardly covers her face, the front is twisted back halfway around each side of her head. Her skin is snow white & her eyes are cobalt blue, along with her tail. Persephone's aura is somewhat gloomy & melancholic, (not emo) she doesn't come off as 'sexy' or even trying to get anothers attention, which is the reason she failed to get the sailors attention. She has an icy gaze but never looks angry. Aside from the ocean itself, Persephone lives in an ocean cove on an uninhabited paradise-like island that eventually becomes more of a prison when Erebus makes his claim over her.

~Erebus:
Persephone's love interest-

Forcing Persephone into being his mate, he wants nothing else but her love in return. To better describe their relationship- At first, he isolates her. Heedless to Persephone, Erebus would never intentionally harm her. Early on, Persephone gives into him - even from the beginning she didn't exactly fight back but wasn't thrilled with basically being Erebus' concubine.
Erebus has a medium gray skin pigment & long, platinum hair. He is more of a shark hybrid rather than a scaled fish; instead, his tail closely resembling the lower half of a shark. Erebus' pupils are elongated, or 'slit'; allowing him to see in dimmer areas of the ocean. His eyes are a pale green & can illuminate faintly when in darkness. His build is masculine & he has a flexible, long torso- which is also enveloped in scars from battles won against other predators- he is very handsome; his face resembles that of a male greek statue or better yet Michelangelo's David. Erebus' personality is grim & somber, but maybe there is more to him. Being a merman, he has mainly lived life in well hidden areas & in seclusion. His age is unknown, but it's assumed he is several hundred years older than Persephone. Erebus has the ability to harness the power of the ocean & can create very powerful currents, even giant whirlpools.

Pearl:

(based around the time of ancient vikings/ Saxons- near Scandinavia, Denmark & Sweden)
Pearl has an unmeasured beauty- her hair is a platinum cream/white color & very, very long. Her skin is extremely pale & her body is petite. Pearl is also the youngest of all her many sisters.

In the land of ice & snow, mermaids are a bitter plague to mortals. Mermaids are a dying race in the Baltic & Norwegian Sea because among many problems, are not reproducing due to the fear of being hunted, but alas; they're desperate. Pearl's story begins when a great danish king dies at the mercy of the sea; his men believe it to be the work of mermaids. Over the course of several months, the most loyal of the kings men had set traps, luring out many of the mermaids & slaughtering them; many of them being Pearl's sisters. Not long after, a great sea monster had attacked & sunk a large ship, killing almost all who was on board, most being the men who had done harm to a mermaid; the sea in many ways was grieving & wanted revenge for its lost daughters- so it was taking all mortal life that entered its waters. Pearl, who had been present during the sinking of the ship could only rescue four of the men; one being the kings son, Bjorn; from drowning & bringing them to shore. None of the men however recollected this, except one- after gaining consciousness had witnessed the young mermaid attempting amateur chest compressions on the prince. After she had seen him breathing, Pearl waited by him intending for him to wake up to her; she soothed him with her voice & planted soft kisses upon him. Bjorn had woken up not quite to Pearl's satisfaction; he was extremely startled & avoided looking at her directly, for fear he would be enchanted by her beauty. (which was basically a bad thing to many men) His hasty movement had caused Pearl to retreat back to the water, where she continued to watch him reunite with his men from the breakers. Before they had completely made their way from the shore, the prince had looked back with a small hope to see the mermaid again. *to be continued*

Bjorn (the prince):
Pearl's love interest-

Is basically a Beowulf type figure. Bjorn is a Norseman & is very tall, being physically fit with striking good looks- He also has a light beard. Bjorns approximate age is mid to late twenties, possibly thirty. He has elbow-length light blonde hair, that's tied back in a loose manly braid...seriously. The warrior Prince is most known throughout the land; aside from being the late kings son, for slaying a great wyrm. Bjorn also eradicated his fathers land of trolls (which were a massive problem in the land) & had slayed many sea monsters, ridding the nearby waterways of the real threats. (he has no real grudge against mermaids) *to be continued*

Idalia is the Guardian of every major star & what would be considered a Sun - Her kingdom is called 'Eta Carinae' Where she reigns as its Empress.
Sailor Sun is from a different dimension & never makes an appearance to Sailor Moon or her companions. Her strength is unmeasurable, (it would be if you were the sworn protector of countless of Suns!)
She is very loyal to her friends & allies but has little patience for anyone who tries to oppose her.
I myself don't think Sailor Sun would be good, nor evil- but if anyone poses a threat, she will stop at nothing to eliminate them.
To visualize her kingdom... it's a floating empire with buildings carved from minerals similar to Gold, diamonds & onyx. Lion statues & carvings are decorated throughout the kingdom.
Sailor Sun is accompanied by a great black lion called Nemian.

Appearance:

Sailor Sun stands about 5'5 with light brown hair that turns dark gold at the tips (not blonde)
Her hair is extremely long, flowing well past her feet- the top of her hair is loosely twisted & braided back.
Sailor Sun's eyes are fierce, with a lion-like gaze. They are a vivid light green.

Transformation:

If Sailor sun had a transformation, the background would be of a red galaxy- it would start off from her 'locket' which is a giant diamond-shaped peridot that's set into the mouth of a golded lion-head crest. The eyes of the lion & the peridot would glow gold & the focus would zoom out to Idalia with her eyes closed- she'd be walking slowly - as she is walking, golden sparks would ignite under her feet (which would begin to create her gloves & boots) with each step (she only takes about 4 steps) then with the final step, a veil of fire & golded sparks would shoot up from her feet & Idalia would be engulfed in golden flames & shape the rest of her suit/armor as it fades off.

Torso:
Her entire torso is covered in a black leotard that has a galactic-starry look to it (as in it's not some silk or latex looking material)

Jewelry:
Sailor Sun has large, gold disc shaped earrings.
Her necklace is a black, studded choker.

Chest/locket/bows:
She has a black ribbon that is set by a golded lion head with a large diamond shaped peridot in the mouth of the lion locket. The tail of the ribbon falls past to her knees & is a slight sheer starry-galactic look (or sparkly for those who have a hard time imagining) look to it.
She doesn't have a tail bow, or a backbow - instead it's a flat golden lion head close to the size of a fist.

Sleeves:
Sailor Sun's sleeves are a sheer black with gold embroidery. The top of the glove folds out & is the same shape of her skirt. Her gloves are fingerless but hug her thumbs.

Skirt:
Her skirt is gladiator -like & the tips come to a solid point (similar to Sailor Galaxia)- it's silver & gold with a black, sheer underskirt.

Boots:
Her platform boots are thigh-high- they are either black or midnight blue with a galaxy design of golden 'stars'........ the toe of her boots curl up & can be either silver or gold.

Other:
She doesn't have a tiara, instead a golden crown that shines really bright like a sun... it's pretty blinding to the mortal eye

Attacks/ Abilities:

Sailor Sun wields a great sun staff. It can be either gold, bronze or onyx (black)
She can harness the power of the sun, so she uses fire- but it's not like Sailor Mars fire- it's much, much hotter... like sun hot ;'D

::Abilities::

Ability 1) Sailor Sun can emit a 'force push'

Ability 2) A golden sphere surrounds her & absorbs everything

Ability 3) Her main attack is called Solar Flare in which she uses her staff to summon a massive ball of fire that she hurls at her enemy

Ability 4) She summons her Lion companion, Nemian where he pretty much takes control & rocks like a hurricane!
