Everything was going seemingly well with the trade, everyone was here at the given time, and they arrived exactly with what they asked; it was perfect. The process had always been this strict and orderly, maybe even more so when Noh's father was still around. Although, Noh had always been fixated on this no nonsense process, much like his father before him, the only difference was that Noh wasn't as trigger happy. He would be very much annoyed if something didn't go to plan, but he did allow an explanation before further action. If he was being honest, it wasn't because he felt like every person deserved a trial before execution, it was more so because disposing of a body was far too time consuming and annoying.
Throughout the entire night, Noh ideally stood nearby, watching carefully to make sure that everything met up to his standards and everything was done clean; or as clean as it could be in his line of business. As of late, there had been a lot of shady dealings. A lot of people not getting what they promised, and Noh was going to be the last person to be taken advantage of. This was the only reason he had showed up tonight, otherwise, he'd be at home, in his hillside mansion, half asleep by now.
Members of the Mikitani Clan, one by one, began to gather small boxes and crates, in preparation to loading them in the large truck nearby. All they had to do was load it up, now that the trade was finalized, and head out. Noh was pleased by the fact, because this trade deal allowed him to expand their business to another region. They would be making twice the amount of money they had been making before, and the Mikitani's already ran the largest and strongest mafia group in all of Japan.
Wordlessly, he stepped a few feet away from the car that he had been watching from. Quickly he pulled out a cigarette, followed by a lighter from the front side pocket of his blazer. The trade overall had taken over a few hours, and because Noh had to be so attentive he was itching for hit of nicotine to calm his buzzing nerves; both of irritation and small nerves.
As the flickering light burned the end of it, he watched as his breathe came out in little huffs thanks to the cold winter that was currently hitting Japan. Noh could feel the warmth from it bouncing off his leather gloves and brushing against the flush in cheeks. Even with all the layers, Noh was still cold; especially from having to just stand around for so long. Honestly, he wanted to bask in that warmth for a few moments, but he knew it'd be smarter to finish quickly and get back into the car, where there'd be an actual source of heat.
As soon as his breathes were replaced with smoke, he pulled the lighter away and slid it back into his pocket, savoring the first hit. Noh anticipated that soothing feeling that the nicotine allowed him, but instead his breathe got stuck in his throat as he exhaled.
The young heir couldn't help but gasp, anticipating cold icy air that surrounded him to fill his lungs, but suddenly everything felt far too warm. Noh's head shot up in sync with all the chaos that had suddenly erupted; shouting and gunshots ringing from every direction.
His reaction time was quick, instinctually he pulled his gun from the opposite side of his suit and began to fire. Noh pulled the trigger at everything and anything that wasn't Mikitani property, but he was too late. It was apparent that the Clan they had been doing business with planned this, and Noh had been targeted. By the time his men had reached him Grey was already starting to feel dizzy and his vision was going fast. He could hear them shouting at him to get down, and not by choice, Noh did exactly as he was told.
As his body collapsed on the dirty road beneath him, he couldn't help but mumble out a soft, "s**t." At this point, Noh was absolutely sure that he now had at least two bullets lodged firmly into his body some where.
Loosely he clawed at the ground, trying to find enough grip and strength to stand up. He knew that he wasn't safe here and if he didn't get some place else, this would be the end of him. But of course, it was of no use. His arms immediately gave up on him and he hit the ground once more with a gentle huff. Noh's eyes grew more hazy and the voices around him only grew to be softer, and he could almost swear that his breathing was only getting more shallow by the second. Although, he couldn't be sure of much more of anything else because his eyes were now starting to flutter close due to exhaustion. The last thing he could remember seeing was the faint glow from his still lit cigarette, burning off in the nearby distance.

Today was a big day for Min Jae and his group, a really big day. They had been on hiatus for a solid year, due to personal reasons, and they were finally going have their first comeback stage since. The last time they had preformed on stage wasn't even to promote a new album, they had been invited to preform the song that had been a hit on the charts the previous year. To say the least, Min Jae's group hadn't put out new music for a while. A whole year was an extremely long time in this industry, but somethings had to be taken care of before they could even dream about getting back on stage. Fortunately, today was that day.
Min Jae arrived at the studio, much earlier than the call time asked for this morning. He told his members that he'd meet them there, as that was the plan as always being that they all lived separately. Many idols stuck together and lived under the same roof, and that's how it was at the beginning, but after third year, they all decided that they would sort out their own living situations. If Min Jae was being a hundred percent honest, he preferred this way. He was really big on privacy and he truly felt like he wasn't getting enough of it when they were all living together. It was as if one of the seven other members were always some how involved in his business. Whether it was if they were asking where he was going out so late, or trying to give him advice on something he had set out to do, some how one of them were always involved. Personally, it was his main issue, amongst a few other things that were apparently Min Jae's fault, but the was besides the point. As soon as their manager received the "okay" from their company, he was the first to move out.
Casually he walked through the halls and respectfully bowed at the people who acknowledged him, which was most. Not only was he a guest, but a well respected guest as well. Min Jae's group had been in this industry for years; a little over five, six if you included his singular year of being a trainee. Needless to say, everyone who appreciated his line of work, knew who he and his members were on sight. The halls were just as he remembered them, pure and clean, showcasing all of the biggest idols that had ever stepped foot inside. Min Jae was sure that their group was around here some where, but if you asked him to tell you where, he probably couldn't. He didn't have the time to look for it right now anyway, nor did he fill the need to reminisce on the moment. It was an old photo from their past, an era that he'd like to forget; one that involved some not so flattering highlights.
Once he had been escorted to the room that was designated for their members and staff, he dropped his bag that had all the stuff that he would need to occupy his time in between shoots. It was going to be a long day, and he knew there would be no chance leaving before the sun had set. The whole comeback stages were his least favorite parts of promotion, the same routine over and over again, but he only knew it would get worse when they set out for tour again in a couple of months. At least here, he could take it easy and do as he pleased until his scheduled time, unlike tour where he was supposed to be stuck in a hotel for 90% of the time; although that never really stopped him.
His eyes wandered down to the expensive watch on his wrist to see that he had exactly how much time he had until he needed to be in hair and makeup. Mentally he nodded to himself, knowing sure enough that was more than enough time to take of the thing he was here so early to take care of.
Min Jae walked through the halls, making a couple turns to be sure that he was decent measure away from their assigned room. Momentarily he waited outside a door, making sure there was no staffs in sight, before quietly stepping inside and shutting the door behind him. As he looked the door he was greeted by another person, to which he simply responded with, "I have to be in makeup within the next hour." Swiftly he pulled his hoodie over his head and out of sight, leaving him just in the joggers he so comfortably and conveniently decided to wear this morning.
Time was slipping by quickly, as Jae and this person were right in the middle of it, when suddenly he felt his phone going off in his pockets. Jae didn't let this stop him, but he was still very aware of the possibility of it being one of his members questioning whereabouts. Honestly, he was notorious for showing up late and carelessly getting the scheduled times wrong. He just couldn't understand how it was logical to show up to he studio hours and hours ahead of time, when they could only be worked on so many at a time. The way Min Jae saw it, he could spend that extra time sleeping and show up later when it was actually his turn, but apparently that wasn't the issue. He could vaguely remember his manager going off on a tangent the first couple of times, something about the importance of showing up together and being seen as group, rather than singular members. Jae couldn't remember word for word, because after a while his manager had just stopped trying all together, knowing it was a blessing if Jae showed up at all at this point.
With that in mind he slipped the device out of his pocket, knowing that it'd be better to answer it rather than have someone go look for him and catch him doing something so obviously wrong. When he brought the phone up to his face he realized that the number was one that he didn't have saved, so quickly he sent it to voicemail. If it was important enough they would have gone through his manager or would leave a voicemail that he could get back to at a much more convenient time.
Although, shortly after, it started to go off again; this person was obviously not going to let up. When Min Jae was was a young new idol, he had been taught to never answer the phone if he didn't know the number. He was told that it could be someone who was out to hurt him or deface his character even if he hadn't done anything wrong yet. If it was anyone of importance, they'd go through their manager or ask him personally face to face for the best number to contact him; which again was usually his managers number. At first he followed this rule religiously, he had been interested in music his entire life and he had seen what have come of some of these artist that were so careless, but as Min Jae got deeper in the idol world, he became careless himself. Other opportunities and business ventures came about, ones that he could only decide or himself, and so it only grew looser and looser as time had gone on.
At this point, the young idol couldn't help but sigh out in frustration, before hastily answering, "Hello?" Jae politely answered, putting on the facade that everyone so loving knew of him, even though his eyes were fixated on the thing at hand. "I'm kind of busy right now," he gently said, prepared to end the conversation quickly so he could finish up here, but the male on the other line continued.
All at once Jae stopped his motions, only to have the young idol he was currently with, look back at him with an annoyed expression on her face. "I have schedules today, but—," Min Jae paused momentarily, to push the young idols face back into the couch they were both sprawled out on together, before deciding to continue. He could tell that she was now listening, but it was none of her business. Honestly, he had half of mind to walk out of there and leave her as she was, but he knew that this was all that he signed up for, trying to hook up with someone who was barely over the legal age. She hadn't learned yet that keeping your head down and minding your business was key to making it in this industry. "I'll send you an address in the evening when I'm through and we can meet there." With out a single further world, he ended the call and tossed the phone aside; no more distractions. Min Jae needed to get out of here in the next ten minutes if he wanted to have enough time to get changed and look some what presentable to his team.

As they coasted down the city streets, they were greeted by the busy New York night life, as the time was already starting to inch towards much later in the evening. There was traffic, but it was to be expected, especially with the harsh winter making the roads sleek and dangerous. His fingertips lightly thrummed on the steering wheel to the beat of the music that was softly playing as background music, some what in a trance. He couldn't help but continue to think about everything that was going on lately, but that was the purpose of tonight; to forget all of those worries.
When Ash spoke he snapped out of his distant gaze that he had on the road and smiled to himself. "No, of course not," he said washing over his initial question as to where they were headed. Instead, Kai moved his right hand and guided it over to Ash's thigh, much closer to his knee than some where he'd might get uncomfortable too quickly. Little to either of there knowledge, Kai was testing the waters, and he didn't even realize it until it would be much too late in the night. "I have a rule, no murders while I'm wearing Gucci," a small laugh slipped passed his lips before looking over to Ash in order to gauge his reaction to the statement. Although he wasn't able to catch it as he noticed the light turn green in his peripheral vision, so he hit the gas and he fell back into his daze. The rest of the car ride continued this way, with the gentle sounds of some artist Kai had saved on his playlist.
When they finally arrived at their destination, Kai slowly got out and tossed his keys at the valet who was patiently waiting for some sort of direction. He hadn't bothered to look back, but instead began to head towards the music that was loudly pouring out of the club only a few feet away; it seemed that he was eager to get inside. The line was wrapped around the building, full of young adults in their best outfits. The men wearing fancy designer button downs and women in dresses that were just as expensive, maybe even more. Kai was absolutely sure that they were freezing due to the cold winter that was now rolling in early this year, but it was also something he understood fondly. When people showed up to this club specifically, they were here to show off and nothings short of it.
Instead of waiting like everyone else, he began to head straight for the main doors. "Ash, relax. I've been going here since I was seventeen. You being one year too young won't be much of a problem," Kai nonchalantly mentioned over his shoulder, unintentionally revealing some of his past that he had tucked far, far away when he moved out here to New York. "Kai, long time no see!" he was greeted immediately when he walked to the main guarding the door. There was something a shy smile painted on Kai's smile, only momentarily, before it changed. "Been busy, but I needed tonight." His demeanor went from innocent cafe boy to a man full of sin and his parents credit card. The man nodded his head knowingly, before opening up the ropes and letting the both in with out much more than that.
The club was packed to the nearly full capacity, Kai had been here many times to know the difference between a busy and a slow night. He could only assumed that a lot of these kids flew in from their ridiculous secondary homes out of the contrary in time for Thanksgiving; which was now only a week away. Everyone here were on mommy and daddies dimes, home for holidays to blow of steam and that mean't loads of alcohol and loads of drugs.
The walls were packed from both ends, and it seemed like there would be no telling how long it would take for them to reach the bar. Luckily for them, Kai planned ahead, even on such short notice, and got them a table. It was the privileges that came along with some what being a legend in this place, but that was a story for a different time.
When they arrived at their table, Kai finally turned around providing Ash with the first bit of attention since they had left his apartment nearly an hour ago. Of course Kai had heard his concerns that he expressed when they had walked in, but he hoped that once they immersed themselves in the atmosphere it would help a little bit to ease him. Until then, he placed his hand on his shoulder and greeted him with a very gentle, board line condescending, smile. "Ash, trust me, okay?" He dropped his arm and walked around the circular table, seating himself with the anticipation that Ash would follow him in. "We'll stay for a little bit and if you still want to go home, I'll pay and we can go." Kai nodded his head reassuringly before getting comfortable, letting his eyes wander and looking right past Ash at the scene before him.
It had been well over a year, nearly two, since he had been back here. There was no reason for him to go anymore, and if he was being honest, he couldn't remember much of the last time to begin with. Only that there was a whole lot of coke which Kai didn't partake in, or so he thought, and a whole lot of alcohol which was the obvious cause for the memory loss. He could remember particular moments flash in his head, allowing him to bite back a fond smile as he assessed the room before him.
Although, it was quickly replaced by more of stern face when he noticed certain eyes falling on him with hesitation. It was as if the natural, more homely, Kai was back because he couldn't help but drop his gaze down to the table at the eye contact. He could feel his cheeks warm, but when he felt Ash scoot in and press more closely into his side a fire in his belly suddenly erupted. He realized in that moment, he only wanted that look from one person, and that person was already there with him. But when he looked over at the younger male, asking for that attention, something clicked firmly in his head. Maybe the other person who was looking at him wasn't checking him out? Instead, maybe they were wondering what the deal was with the two at the table, and at that, Kai suddenly began to tense up. Kai tried his very hardest to ignore the suffocating feeling but every time Ash got closer, he could feel his body getting more tense, and every time his body grew more tense he could feel his hand searching for alcohol in hopes that it would loosen him up.
He felt ridiculous, this was his idea in the first place.
After hours and several shots and many empty bottles later, Kai could feel those inhibitions slipping away just as quickly as the alcohol was slipping down his throat. He felt free and light, content at the way Ash looked up at him in the neon blue lights that encased them in there own private bubble. So much so that he could feel himself leaning in closer to Ash's touch and hanging on to every last word that came out of the younger's mouth. So when the younger whispered his confession in his ear, Kai couldn't help but nearly choke on what ever he was currently drinking.
Naturally, he could feel his lips parting, feeling the immediate need to swipe his tongue over them because suddenly they felt far too dry. It felt like everything began to move in slow motion when Ash swung his leg over his lap, and completely froze when the younger parked himself them. Everything in his head told himself to push the younger off of him, this was far too public and there were so many people watching, but the alcohol suggested otherwise. Instead, Kai gentle slid his glass on the table in front of them, not leaving Ash's gaze once.
The music in the club was so loud, but the thrumming in his ears seemed to be even louder and the heartbeat in his chest even louder than that. It was going wild, his anxieties were ten fold over, but before he quickly shoved it away and leaned in; allowing him what he had been denying the entire night.
Kai moved his lifeless arms up to his hips and firmly grasped them as if Ash would just up and walk away from him, but surely not after a confession like that. His lips searched the younger's with far too much heat, but if he was being honest, he had seen and heard a lot worse in the restrooms here. Although, with Ash's second confession just now, he wasn't sure that if they'd be any better with the direction that they were heading themselves.
The young heir stopped momentarily and searched Ash's face, and before he could really think about it, he simply acted. Without another word he pulled the younger's hands from his face and pushed them down by his sides, for better control over him. He reached in for another soft kiss, giving him one last looking, silently asking for any sign of discomfort. When he was sure that there was none, he came back in with the same fire they started, but he only grew more hungry. Kai began to leave a trail of soft kisses down his jawline, before he knocked it away with his nose for better access to his neck; leaving small love bites in his path.
...and that was the last thing he could remember as he woke up with small groan. As the light poured in the through the large windows ,he was immediately greeted with a pounding headache; much like the one that occurred after the first night the too had gone drinking together. Kai rolled from his back and on to his side, cowering away from the brightness and in hopes of a little more sleep, but his eyes flew open when he suddenly felt someone beside him. "s**t, Ash," he mumbled to himself quietly, to not wake the other. He looked so innocent and peaceful, contrasting what they looked like night before.
And that's when he came to a realization, of how little clothes that either of them were currently wearing. Kai could feel his heartbeat pick up and hesitantly raise the blankets he was under to see what state he was currently in. A sigh of relief escaped his lips when he noticed that he was wearing the jeans he had worn out, but upon further inspection he realized that his belt had gone missing and his jeans were undone. The wave of guilt and panic began to set in, as he looked back over at Ash with a concerned look on his face. "What happened last night?" he asked himself, trying to recollect everything that happened after he allowed Ash on top of his lap. A part of him was cursing the younger's action, but the other part of him could remember Ash's warning and offering to back out to which he ignored.

Noelle was up and over to his room in the matter of only a few minutes but those minutes felt way too long for comfort. Grey sat there with his computer gently on his lap, tapping away at the keys in search of some sort of distraction, but it didn't take long before the noise began to aggravate him.
In his sensitive state, he let out a soft groan of frustration before stopping and looking away from his screen. The young heir couldn't help it as his eyes snaked their way down his shoulder and to his elbow, noticing the soft marked skin there. Slowly he brought his finger tips to the discolored spots and gently rubbed at them, which only caused the anticipation to bloom in his chest further.
His eyes quickly snapped up upon Noelle's arrival, and Grey could feel his body go rigid at her denial to his request. "That wasn't a request, Noelle," Swiftly his demeanor changed and he squared his shoulders as if that would give his words more depth in the vulnerable state that he was currently in. "You work for me, therefore you do as I say." Slowly and gently he leaned over to the bedside table, where the vials were now kept for easy access. Grey pulled one out and extended it to her, all she needed was to provide the needle.
Another few longing seconds ticked by, another few seconds that felt like hours, causing the air to grow into tension that was far too thick. He gave her a stern look, silently questioning what she was waiting for, only for her to firmly deny his demand this time. It was probably all in his head, but as soon as the words left her lips, he could feel a shooting pain accelerate up his shoulder, causing him to throw all logic to the wind. "I'll wait then, but know that when I ask you something I expect the demands to be met." A small sigh escaped his lip's allowing his voice to go much softer, "I'm exhausted, wake me up when the time comes," Grey tacked on to the end of his previous statement before sliding the laptop off his lap and scooting it a few feet away, not bothering watch her make her exit because it was clear it's what he wanted with out saying.
As soon as Noelle walked out of the room he waited only a few short moments before nearly throwing himself over the side of the bed and reaching over to the drugs he had just put back down. The quick movements causing an actual burning sensation to excelerate up and down his arm, before gliding down his sides for an overall burn. It only pushed the need for what he was about to do, further.
His hands messily opened up the drawer and pushed the vials to the side before he reached to the back and found what he was looking for; an old used needle from the day before. Grey could feel his vision getting hazy and his heart beat picking up at the idea of him finally getting what he wanted so badly, the sweet relief that was about to come.
His fingertips visibly shook as he wrapped himself up and loaded the needle with the drug. Carefully he looked at the spots on his arm, looking for a good spot to inject and reminding himself that he has done this before to others. Not to mention the amount of times he has seen Noelle do it to him over the last couple weeks.
For a short moment he hesitated, not because he was scared, but because of an underlying realization about how much of junkie he looked like right now. This was so far from who he was, Grey dealt with junkies, he was never in his lifetime supposed to end up being one.
But the idea of feeling of the morphine coursing through his veins won out as he, decidedly, punctured the skin and plunged the warmth into his body. Instantly, he could feel his jaw going slack and his trembling in his fingers come to an immediate stop as they moved on their own to his belly for comfort. Grey could feel himself slipping into another deep fog, messy needle and all still sticking in his skin like a beacon for his wrong doings.

Another day, another practice that leaves him with sweat dripping down his forehead and back from how much effort he's been putting in. The young trainee is keeled over breathing heavily from being there all day as the music begins to fade into simple background noise; signaling that they had made it all the way through once more. It was the same choreography over and over again, for what feels like the millionth time today and honestly, at this point, it just may be.
As if he was a fish out of water, he's chugging a bottle of water as if his life depended on it, when suddenly he hears the instructor scream at them to all get back into formation. His eyes glance up at him before looking at the clock on the opposite end of the wall, causing a firm crease to work its way into his brow. Usually, by this time, they were done and packing up to go home but instead he finds himself doing as he's told. On any given day, Min Jae would have had absolutely no problem with this. If he was being honest, he loved being at practice, so much that he was constantly scolded to go back to his dorm and get some rest or simply "take it easy." It was just hard to listen when he adored the burning sensation that coursed through his body after a long day of being at the studio for way too many hours.
Although, due to the certain circumstances, he could feel himself taking in a deep calming breathe as his patience was beginning to wear thin.
Calmly he made his way to his position, with all of the other back up dancers, and counted in his head to three before the music blared loudly from the speakers. The music flowed through his body, as if they were one, putting on a magnificent performance. Min Jae felt good, in his element, as he always did when he danced, nearly losing himself to the beat. That was until the song was at the bridge, did that feeling burst like a fragile bubble, shattering his last bit of patience he had with it.
A loud grunt bubbled out of his chest as he's felt the impact of someone colliding directly into his chest, causing them both to drop to the floor on impact. Before he could even gather himself, he already knew who it was that he had run into; he had been dancing next to her all day for the last few days in a row. "You were supposed to go left!" Min Jae couldn't help himself as the words flew from his mouth out of frustration and anger, ignoring the fact that in any other given situation he would run over and promptly help the person to their feet. "A "triple threat" idol and you can't even get the footing right." Baek Haemi, one of the most famous female idols currently in their industry and yet, all Min Jae could think about was how she couldn't even get a few simple dance steps right.
The air in the room grew thick in the matter of minutes due to his outburst. Every other trainee and back up dancer in that room frozen at the way that Jae dared to speak to her. Their mouths agape and the dance instructors eyes boring into him, but he hadn't noticed. The only thing he could focus on currently was Haemi and how angry he currently was over the situation and the underlying irony that overlapped it.
So much so, that he hardly felt it as one of his closest friends bent over and grabbed his arm, beginning to help him up as he quietly whispered a soft, "Jae, don't." To which he ripped his arm out of his hold and shook his head, "No, she can't just—" The words were caught on his tongue as the dance teacher's voice boomed through the room, causing his head to shoot up and look over at him. "Byun Min Jae, enough." As the realization washed over him, he really didn't wish he could take it back, he simply wished that he was in any other situation than he currently was in.
"Dance practice for today is over, you can all go home." Slowly the young trainee tipped his head back and closed his eyes in frustration, trying to calm himself down, but it only lasted for a few moments. "Min Jae and Haemi, stay." His eyes snapped open immediately, his gaze shifting over the dance teacher before over at Haemi. He couldn't believe that for the second time in his career, one that hadn't even taken off yet, he was about to have everything pulled away at the hands of Baek Haemi.
