Juliette's parents were French. Her father's job took them to England, where she ended up being born before they could move back to France. They decided to stay in the country and raise her there until she was older, but they never ended up moving back to France after Juliette's mother was killed under circumstances that Juliette still does not know. She was a financial adviser to high profile clients, and was extremely smart with money; when she was gone, Juliette's father became reckless with his wealth and blew thousands of dollars on things he didn't need. Fancy, superfluous belongings defined the family's lifestyle, and it was ingrained in Juliette. Her father often said that he wanted to give her the best, and showered her in gifts and everything she could ever want. Meanwhile, he drowned himself in work, booze, and television, hardly sparing a few words for his daughter. Juliette occupied her time with art, often drawing concepts for clothing and makeup packaging.

When Juliette was 17, her father was fired from his job as a celebrity stylist for his alcoholism. The two moved to America, where he already had another opportunity lined up. Juliette has been trying to keep her father sober (a difficult task) and become a better person than him at the same time. She has already started to do a bit of modeling, and is trying to get into the fashion industry.

Thus far, Juliette's entire life has revolved around wealth and material possessions; she values beauty and money over things like integrity and honesty, and often seeks out people that are rich or famous to associate with. It has never been easy for Juliette to relate to people or make friends, as she was isolated as a child and tends to be an unfriendly and slightly aggressive person. Most of the relationships (romantic and friendly) she's ever had have been shallow and casual. So far, her idea of love is a shower of gifts and compliments without any real emotional presence. She isn't one to form close bonds; her attitude is turn-off to most and she tends to see the bad in people, but when she does truly like someone, she's fiercely loyal to them. It isn't often that she opens up and makes herself vulnerable to somebody, so when she does, she's careful and will look for any excuse not to trust them.

Juliette won't tolerate being seen as weak; despite not having much self worth, she makes sure that people find her intimidating, beautiful, and confident. She's fearless to the point where she's almost careless with her life, and won't back down from a challenge or adventure. She hates working and feels like it's beneath her, but once she has her mind set on something, she will finish it. Juliette is always looking out for herself and finds it hard to put herself in other people's shoes--she cares about what's affecting her and rarely thinks about how things will affect others, which is something she's trying to change about herself.
