( company ) ✦ ━━ parents/guard/beta ship occupants tab ( location ) ✦ ━━ ark/dropship/earth tab ( thinking ) ✦ ━━ woah tab ( wearing ) ✦ ━━ outfit

The older couple broodingly stared at her, maintaining their concerned expressions. The couple evidently confused as to why their adoptive daughter would volunteer for the expedition in the first place when she well and truly could have been useful on the ARK, but alas a part of them also knew better, and this was their final plea to stop her insanity before the launch of the drop ships tomorrow. The elder male sighed, his brown eyes sullen, as his partner simply glanced at the teenager in dismay. The room was silent, but not for long as the male stifled through some words, his European accent thick. "Are you certain Sofia? It's not too late - we can always tell the Minister to let someone else go in your place, we could still use you here on the ARK.", awaiting an answer looking to his wife, who also piped up, her accent not as apparent, and voice, much more soothing in comparison to her husband. "Your papa is right; please listen to him, we can tell the Minister you made a mistake and volunteered on impulse. Please, Sofia, re think this through!" she begged, her husband chiming in again. "We don't know what's down there or if it's even safe yet mija - this is a death sentence." he remarked, grimacing.
The teen exhaled frowning at both her parents, as she bit on her lower lip, shaking her head stepping away from the couple, adamant on her decision.
"I'm going - and nothing is changing my mind," she paused for a moment, lowering her voice before she spoke again. "I have to, I need to prove I can do this, I'm sorry, the answer is no, I'm going." she concluded, brown eyes meeting her parents once more, and in that moment exchanged looks between the three of them, who all stood in the confinement of their quarters, knowing there was no stopping their daughter, or changing her mind. The reality of the situation was she was being sent to Earth tomorrow and nobody knew of what her fate would be.

"Sofia Espinoza!" a member of the guard called, the female sheepishly walking up towards him, taking note of the line up towards the two drop ships. She wasn't one often to be scared, however, this quite frankly terrified her, and what she was about to do would change everything. It was almost surreal that she had actually decided to commit to this, and although a part of her wanted to turn back and leave, Sof knew she had to this. Afterall, she was going to earth and you'd be an idiot not to see if the stories were true.
It had been centuries since human's had inhabited the earth, and now all 100 of them were being sent down in order to see if the planet was survivable. The brunette glanced down at her wristband which had been gruffly slapped onto her wrist by the guard, his voice grim. "ID number 2214308241. Here's your pack, move, and sit." She was practically shoved into her seat on one of the two drop ships by him, turning her head around, brunette locks swishing as she observed the same action happening over and over again to all the others. Once seated, she scanned the small space of metal; searching to see if there were any familiar faces, however disappointed she hadn't spotted anyone she knew as of yet. The teen raised her fingertips, bringing it up towards her neck, grasping at her necklace, clutching ever so tightly before finally diverting her attention to her backpack, knowing full well that she had been supplied with what little rations could be spared, and her minimal personal belongings she was allowed to carry with her on this expedition were all located in that pack. The female let go of her necklace, grabbing the pack, gently tucking it underneath her chair, securing herself with the vibrant red buckles - waiting for the inevitable.
A chime filled the room and tensions rose as the doors to the dropship closed, no prior warning as an abhorrent shaking trajectory filled the metallic expanse. The female let out a small gasp, in shock from the turbulence followed a honing sound of metal as clanging filled the air. Briefly, Sof closed her eyes, opening them again once the thrusters set in, a weightless sensation suddenly floating through her. The teen smirked, thinking to herself zero g aware of this from her parents, as she took note of the idiots who thought it was a good idea to leave their seats, right before combustion and gravity returned. The female rolled her eyes, still in awe, the sudden feeling of fright no longer lingering, all that swept through her was excitement.
Her thoughts were interrupted through the slow descent, when the monitor flickered on playing a message from the Council. The teen listened carefully, taking in every word.
"Citizens of The Ark, hear us now. As some of you may know, you are headed towards Earth. For those of you that have been imprisoned for your disregard for the rules of your station, you've been given a second chance. As of now, you are pardoned of all past crimes. For those of you that volunteered or were selected for this mission, it is our hope that you see this as not just a chance for you, but a chance for all of us, indeed for mankind itself. We have no idea what is waiting for you down there and we have spared what little resources that could be spared. Our records tell us that there are resources available for you in a government bunker that had been empty before World War 3. Once you’ve landed the access co---"
The voices cut out, the female confused. What the hell just happened? It was evident she was not alone in her thoughts as a male asked the same question. "What happened?" Lights began to turn off as the transmission ended, all electronics on the drop ship seemingly failing as the drop ship continued to spiral at a faster descent, luckily the boosters activating themselves, making for a somewhat smooth landing.
Exhaling from relief, Sofia smirked, glad she was alive, watching as others from their dropship begin to unfasten their seatbelts and make their way to the lower floors. The teen rolled her eyes, god they were super impatient. She followed suit, unbuckling herself out, grabbing her pack, voices beginning to overlap each other.
"Is everyone alright?" the same voice from before called out. Another familiar voice yelling out in response. "I'm alright."
The teenager glanced around, her eyes blinking adjusting to the light, more identifiable voices coming forth, as she made her way down towards the floor, noticing Vanna, Ren and a group of others at the door.
"S-So who's gonna open it?"
"No one! What if it's not safe?!"
"We can't stay in here forever..."
"What about the radiation?"
"This is a death sentence..."
Sof smirked, death sentence. Something her papa would say.
Another voice. Ah, of course. Princess. If you're not going to open it I'm going to." she didn't hesitate as brightness surrounded the drop ship, and she started to yell. "BENJAMIN!!!!" she called out, Sofia rolling her eyes as she made her way towards the front, in amazement from the greenery of the earth. Real subtle of princess to yell though. "Wow.. .it's beautiful" she heard Ren say, and Sof's thoughts were the same. BENJAMIN!!! OZ!!!!". The female rolled her eyes once more, was she serious? Way to be inconspicuous. "Guys, there's a problem... We're not next to the other ship like were supposed to be..." Princess added, Sofia realising that she was in fact right. "But we're alive. I'd say that's a good start." Caleb's voice immediately drawing Sof's attention. Before getting the chance to respond to either of them, princess cusped her hands together and yelled into the distance once more. "BEEEEEENJIIIIIIIIIII!" and Sof let out a frustrated groan.
Great, she had to put up with that.
It appeared that other's were not too happy with her either as a male sniped at her when he exited the drop ship. "Look at that, the minister in training came with us. That's a surprise, you left that comfortable life and came down here? I wouldn't be surprised if you die first."
She did her best not to snigger at his comment, at this rate considering how much attention she was drawing to herself without thinking, she wouldn't be surprised either. The girl made her way towards the crowd that was beginning to form at the front of the crash site of the drop ship, noting that Ren had spoken once more.
"I'm sure we'll find them...", she was always so positive, Sofia once again observing more familiar voices and faces appear in the small group. "Wh-where are um.. Are we… are we wh-where we sho-should be? was that Jun? Vanna's friend? The sound of Caleb's voice caught Sof again as he indicated something. "Not anytime soon," Caleb pointed out as he motioned to the setting sun, Sof amazed by the gorgeous colours. "I don't know about you, but I can't see in the dark."
Well s**t.
Her brown eyes darted back and forth between the members of the group, taking note that Vanna had wandered off, Sof no doubt figured she'd be tinkering with something to be of use to them all.
Another voice piped up. One she knew well. "We're not where we're supposed to have landed." Valeria held the map out, Sof making her way over to her as she pointed on the map to roughly where they had landed, continuing "We landed about here and we were supposed to land here." Sof gazed as she pointed at roughly where Mount Weather was on the map, "I don't think we should be going looking around though, night is setting in and we don't know what's out there. We should really setup camp for the night." Clearing her throat, Sofia spoke to the group, confirming what Valeria had just mentioned. "We should all make ourselves useful somehow, help out Vanna, and set up camp here for the night... the teen trailed off, still in amazement by the scenery. "And then we'll find the others at dawn, together. Who's with me?" she finalised, raising an eyebrow, awaiting an answer from the rest of them, grabbing her friends attention. "Good to see you Val, we'll find Ric in the morning, along with everyone else." she smiled, giving her friend a sight squeeze on her arm.

( company ) ✦ ━━ 2IC/guards/alpha ship occupants tab ( location ) ✦ ━━ ark/dropship/earth tab ( thinking ) ✦ ━━ well, ******** tab ( wearing ) ✦ ━━ outfit

Alaric clenched his right hand together as it curled into a ball, resting up against his torso; the echoing words of his father and guards filling their quarters. The male did his best to bite his tongue, attempting to remain composed as he drowned out the overlapping chatter of his father's friends and the ARK's security discussing tomorrow's events of the launch, and his explicit instructions. Abruptly, his thoughts were interrupted as the gruffness of his father's voice snapped him back to his current reality. "Did you hear me Alaric?" he growled at his son, Ric nodding his head. "I need an answer soldier, did you hear me, yes or no?" he asked once more, the tone and his demeanour drastically changing to hastiness. Once more, Alaric clenched his fist even tighter, his fingernails digging into his palm in order to prevent him from striking at the man, barking down orders at his throat, rather than speaking to him like a human being - like his son.
The guards eyes all turned to Alaric, awaiting an answer from him. The young man exhaled before finally responding, making direct eye contact with his father. Although as of late, he had not been much of a very good one to him, and perhaps it was due to what was occurring on the ARK, however as much as Ric wanted to chalk it up to that having been the reason behind his fathers stance and behaviour towards him, the male knew far better; he was just disappointed in him and was in his father's eyes, a failure of a son. Quite frankly, Alaric hypothesised that deep down despite his father's nurture and apparent love for him, he resented him for killing his wife via childbirth, and held a strong distaste, or at least huge resentment towards him, as everyday he would be looking at the remains of his dead wife through Alaric's eyes. A part of the male knew this, and although his father tried his best to shield it and had never actually voiced this before, Ric knew the truth, and everyday since he had done his best to appease to his father's standards, and yet it still was just not enough.
Nothing would be.
He would never be enough for him, because he was not his mother.
At times, he wished he had never been born to evade all this archaic monstrosity.
Constituting himself, the young mane straightened his stiff back, clearing his throat, returning the eye contact to his father and the rest of the guards, opening his mouth to respond.
"Yes Sir." he kept it brief, a smug expression furrowing itself onto his face, knowing well and truly this would indeed piss off the 2IC immensely. Without haste, his father addressed him once more. "Your mission soldier!? Relay it back over to me, stat." he growled again, the words essentially being spat into his face; agitation rising in the room as his father stared directly through him, as if he were just a vacant body with no soul. "Get to the ground, report back and protect everyone important, especially Valeria at all costs... he paused, and quickly remarked, opening his mouth to conclude his sentence. "Sir." smirking, his father pulling away from him diverting his attention back towards the rest of the sectioned Guards in his command. "0700 tomorrow. Is that clear!?" he yelled, a chorus of SIR echoing through their chambers.
Ric uncurled his fist, clenching his jaw together, frustrated that he had been lied to begin with, deceived into believing as to why he had been selected to go down to earth was for the right reasons, but of course it was for their own ******** agenda, but to hell with it - he was going to earth tomorrow and his father wouldn't have to see him any damn longer than necessary.

It was no surprise that Alaric was one of the very first people to arrive in preparation for the dropships, his father's friends placing on his monitor to his wrist, along with his backpack, as he was scanned in, the guard stopped him, the sudden realisation it was him. "1213911021. s**t, good luck down there Ric. Do your old man and the rest of us proud." he stated, the young man unsure of what to say, as he didn't wish to come off in a negative manner. "I'll report back as soon as comms are up Skavinski, I've got it from here Corporal." he replied, flashing him a comforting smile as he was ushered into his seat, getting comfortable, placing his pack underneath his seat, buckling up the vibrant buckles as he watched the drop ship begin to fill with an amass of individuals, one by one.
Tension began to rise as the drop ship engaged, no warning when the doors immediately closed, except for the loud ringing chime and the sudden interjection of the the ship; the turbulence taking impact almost immediately. Ric grasped onto his harness, observing the rattling of the metal as combustion began, zero gravity kicking in, Alaric not even bothering to suggest for them all to stay in their seats, that should have been common sense.
Lights flickered as gravity returned, the monitor flashing, a message appearing. Alaric listening to the wise words of the ARK Council.
Citizens of The Ark, hear us now. As some of you may know, you are headed towards Earth. For those of you that have been imprisoned for your disregard for the rules of your station, you've been given a second chance. As of now, you are pardoned of all past crimes. What the ********? Something wasn't right, the drop ship had malfunctioned, and Ric's immediate response was to yell out to everyone. "BRACE YOURSELVES FOR LANDING!" and within moments, their dropship began their descent to the ground.
After what had felt like a somewhat steady landing, given everything, Alaric couldn't help but find himself gaging around the ships metallic walls to ensure everyone was okay and had survived.
Voices began to pipe up as everyone started to unfasten themselves from their seats, following suit, Ric shaking his body, hearing Oz yell out to the rest of the occupants of the ship as people murmured. "Anyone hurt?" Oz asked, another voice, “Ooow, I’m pretty sure boot to head is classified as ow.” s**t, who was that? She sounded familiar, but the male couldn't quite distinguish who it was as of yet. “Yup, that’s an ow. Holy wow I haven’t seen myself bleed in forever. Is this something I get to look forward to? Not the boot to the head hopefully, but bleeding? Getting injured anyhow? I guess I better learn to duck.” he heard the female ramble on, that was Oz's speciality. At least they were fortunate enough to have a medic on board, things could have been much worse given the circumstances.
“I’m good, s**t landing but good.” Ric heard someone else say, was that Gaius? He wouldn't have been surprised if it was, another secret kept from him. “We need more light.” he heard the male call out, and Ric agreed. It was ******** dark in here. The male scrambled to the lower floor where the door of the drop ship was, taking in multiple familiar faces and indeed, confirming it was Gaius. A soft smile curling onto his lips as the excitement began to settle in, although he was yet to say anything to the guard as Ryker spoke first. "Fancy seeing you here." a voice piped up, addressing Gaius. Ric, making out it was Ryker, who shortly had impatiently opened the dropship doors.
Squinting as the light entered the ship, his iris adjusting, Ryker calling out once more. "You guys should come to see this!", curiously, Alaric followed and the male gasped, stepping out indulging in the brilliant sight that laid out before him.
Holy ********, they'd actually made it to earth.
"Trouble is. The other ship is nowhere to be seen." Ryker called out again, Alaric grumbling. Well, that was just ******** great. The ARK had ******** up, and this was going to make his job here even harder. Before getting the chance to respond, Ryker piped up again. "Hey, guys! I think I can hear someone screaming." the male raised an eyebrow, given the terrain, that was highly unlikely. "Improbable, we're surrounded by trees that go on for miles. It could've been anything, and its best to stay on high alert." he responded, naturally taking over as leader. "Could be a fox," someone called out from the ship "They're known to sound like screams when they're calling back and forth to each other."
”Woah." someone else gasped in astonishment.
More heightened emotions as the young man heard another voice. "Has anyone seen the Beta ship?! Anyone!?" the other male yelled, calling for his friend "Oz!"
“Anyone have any clue where we are?”
"Earth," Ric heard a female answer in awe.
The other males yelling made his way back onto the ship, Ric watched as he passed him, huffing to Oz. "Beta isn't here.", although he seemed very preoccupied with Cam as he tended to her injuries and caught in their own conversation.
Alaric was aware that people were beginning to grow anxious and right now, he needed to somehow diffuse the situation. Grabbing the groups attention, Ric cleared his throat to speak. "By now we are all aware Beta is not near us, however frantically panicking will get us no where. We all need to calm down and figure out a plan.", more overlapping chatter as everyone scrambled their minds on what to do.
“We need more light.” someone called out.
“Working on it!” he heard Katinka yell out something as he noticed she had promptly worked on getting light together for them all, as this sun was not going to last much longer.
Gaius chimed in. “Nights coming, we’re going to need a fire before it gets cold.” he suggested, “Starting a fire, anyone who can help with that, help unless you want to freeze” he squaked out to the others, Alaric nodding in agreement.
Some protested remembering he was a guard "Why should we help a guard?” Ric rolled his eyes, stepping in. "Because I said so, now get moving." he barked, his expression turning dark as they walked off to help, Gaius answering them. “Not a guard anymore but sure, don’t help, no fire means you freeze, and you can find yourself to blame.” Ric peered at the male, confused as to why he felt he owed him an explanation. "You know, you don't need to do that Gaius. Explain yourself like that, you have no one to answer to anymore." he stated firmly, flashing a smile as he walked with him, Cam echoing helpful insight to the group.
“If we can get some of these logs and stuff together, we can get a fire going, maybe use the smoke to signal the other ship? It can’t have landed too far away right?” She had a valid point; Beta couldn't have been far at all, a day's trek at most, and it would be wise of them all to stick together and leave at dawn “You’re gonna need something to throw sparks to get the fire going with that Phosphorus in your bag. And clear out anything that can catch on fire. Leaves. Dried and wet for the fire and smoke. Tinder would be good… Wonder if anyone has a sharp I can use to make shavings?” she suggested, Ric recalling he had dog tags around his neck, the male gestured towards Cam. "Will these do?" he asked, taking them off his neck, handing them to her, walking back towards Gaius "And so we return to The Law of the Jungle”. Ric couldn't help but chuckle at his comment. "And that we do." he responded, as he gathered a few twigs around him tucking it neatly under his arm.
The male addressed the group again. "At first light, we will search for Beta. In the meantime, everyone stick together and stay on high alert, as we are dealing with new terrain." he concluded, waiting for the group to agree. "We have Katinka and Cam along with the rest of our volunteers for our warmth tonight, let's get well rested and appreciate we've made it to ******** earth!" he exclaimed proudly.

Once you’ve landed the access co---
What the ********?
"We have Katinka and Cam along with the rest of our volunteers for our warmth tonight, let's get well rested and appreciate we've made it to ******** earth!" he exclaimed proudly.

ʀᴀᴠᴇɴᴄʟᴀᴡ ʜᴇᴀᴅ ɢɪʀʟ

Without haste, despite being relatively early to her next class, the Head Girl had found herself frolicking towards her next period, entering the classroom she made her way over towards her desk, books in one arm as she smiled gracefully at the Professor and the rest of her peers as they all began to prepare for today’s lesson.
What would that be? Who knew, but alas, it was a new afternoon of learning and whatever it may be, the thought of being educated with more knowledge of the magical world, filled the young girl full of curiosity and complete and utter excitement. A small smirk curled on her lips as she made her way over to the desk; brown eyes gazing at the familiarity of the oak wood as they carved in multiple directions, forming swirls and dentures in certain detailing of the wooden crevices. She had sat in this same spot ever since her first year and had been sorted into Ravenclaw House - this was her particular seat and all those at Hogwarts knew it. The handy work on the desk was admirable indeed too - and the mere sight of seeing her usual spot amidst the second row in the Professor’s classroom filled her with joy; young Emilia was quite fond for today’s lesson to begin, whatever obscure new thing that may be.
Gracefully, she placed her books on top of the desk, flicking her brunette locks behind her shoulder as her eyes scanned the classroom and ears perking to the chatter of her fellow classmates. Exhaling, Emilia smiled, exchanging pleasant small hello’s and waves to others that approached her prior to her sitting down.
And then it happened.
Bloody frogs.
Without even having the chance to speak, the brunette found herself gobsmacked as a hex appeared right before her eyes.
An echo of laughter surrounded her.
Bloody hell, she was mortified! How could this be!? Who would commit such insolence against her and better yet, why!? What had she done to deserve this type of behaviour towards her?
Huffing in annoyance, the Head Girl found herself standing up as her perpetrator had been identified.
It was, of course, no other than Osma, who just, of course had to stay to watch her plan hatch.
Without thinking, Emilia found herself storming over towards her, frogs croaking on the classroom floor as the laughter of her peers slowly began to fade away.
“How dare you, you filthy mud -'' the girl pursed her lips together, cutting herself off, rationalising her thoughts. No - she wasn’t going to say something so reprimandable and shallow, at least by her standards as it was considered normal to some. Emilia found herself biting her tongue, lips smacked together and her expression evidently irritated as she confronted Osma, the Professor and classmates watching, no one stepping in.
Huffing, she pulled herself away, retreating back, hoping to salvage some form of her pride.
“I don’t have time for such antics.” she paused, tone firm and spoke again. “You could have at least been less gnarly and more creative with the frogs.” She critiqued, flicking her hair back, robes swishing behind her as she headed back to the desk, grabbed her belongings and scampered off in the opposite direction.
“Excuse me.” she declared and Emilia found herself exiting the classroom, tears circling in her eyes, the Ravenclaw retreated towards the bathroom, where she would find the new Beauxbatons champion, Dieudonne.
ooc; sozzz just wanted to get an emilia post up - happy to add filler at the top if needed :p

Gab has lived in California her whole life - both her parents being very highly regarded surgeons at Laguna Beach's Hospital. Much to her dismay, her parents are always busy with work, which unfortunately left Gab and her brother alone growing up with babysitters/nannies. Not that it was all that bad for her, she still had a great relationship with her parents and in that got to truly bond with her brother, although unfortunately espite their seemingly lavish lifestyle, Gab just wishes her parents could be around more to see her achievements.
Her relationship with her brother is admirable, the two get along like a house on fire - laughing and spending time with one another, gaming and on occasions he'd help her with her cheer routines, often going for their favourite beverage together, a milkshake. However, in saying that the two are almost polar opposites in some ways too. Whilst Gab is much more open in the social sector and does not struggle making friends, being outspoken or sharing her opinion to others, her twin brother does and being at high school and in totally different cliques, the pair have unfortunately drifted, and only really get to spend time with one another at home or when they cross paths in her schedule.
Being a diligent fiery young woman, Gab is not afraid to chase after her dreams and what she wants. She has a vision and goals for her future and wants to ensure she achieves them at all costs; taking up multiple extra curricular activities, particularly enjoying cheerleading and her social circle as its certainly had its benefits in her daily life.
Gabriella is fiery and puts those she cares about first, quick to defend those in need and will always have an input on the latest agenda, as she keeps up with the latest trends/news and is always informed and extremely opinionated on most topics.

Without his parents being around much for him growing up and essentially being raised by babysitters/nannies in California whilst his parents worked as surgeons, took its toll on Dante's personality as a child. He went into his shell a lot more and lacked a deeper connection with his father, which he yearned for. Ultimately, this led to Dante retreating to his games and spending a lot of time with his babysitters playing board games, D&D or video games, and more often than not only being left in the company of his twin system who was somehow opposite to him when it came to their personality attributes.
Spending time with Gab made Dante feel happy and safe, as she was his familiarity and being around her helped bring him out of his shell given he could come across as awkward and introverted sometimes - especially in social situations, he'd rely on Gab to talk him up or bail him out as needed, however over time as they've drifted a fair bit, being in seperate cliques, Dante has had to learn how to do all these things on his own without crumbling.
Ultimately, Dante joined the track team - something he found himself very good at, and he would just imagine a song or beat in his head, or he was a character in one of his video games and needed to make it to the finishing line; pushing him to win and strive forth. This has kept him relatively sane during high school and to not be a total loser, despite noting that his twin was the one who flourished and shined and they were still in different cliques altogether.
A caring teen, free spirited and can do anything he puts his mind too. Dante loves music and his games and would much rather be in his own comfort zone, playing games, D&D or listening to music. However, the one thing he truly misses is his adventures with his sister going for milkshakes, but alas Gab's schedule and his haven't aligned as of late. Dante holds high expectations and standards for himself and those around him, as he only wants those who are good influences and hopes after high school he can go to to med school and follow in his parents footsteps to make their family name proud.

It felt good to be back at Argosy High, on campus and back in the familiarity of the hallways and classrooms in general, although not so much being around the prudent teachers, considering half of them had forgotten what it was like to be a teenager and have some kind of fun, but more than anything, and in another life she'd bite her tongue to this, but right now she was glad to be back in the comfort of her world; as to Gabriella Cruz, virtual learning on Zoom just wasn't the same. Many of her peers could surely relate to these emotions, concurring with her opinion as it was beyond strange, having to pretend to be alert and somehow get content done whilst in the comfort of your home, in PJ's, trying to convince their teachers as though you hadn't just woken up. The amount of times the female would find herself sidetracking checking her social's more than she needed to or end up muting herself in the room, camera off to watch something on Netflix was ridiculous. So many of the students did it, her friendship group especially, and keeping up to date on recent gossip just was so much harder than expected when you literally couldn't see anyone except via Facetime or through a screen.
It sucked.
Their only reliability was through word of mouth and back in those days, everything everyone already knew, so nothing was interesting.
Being back was great for her though, things went back to normal, as expected and she fell back into her usual routine. The yearning she had for her friends and cheerleading had been fulfilled and Gab was beyond grateful. The teen certainly preferred being able to have a giggle and hang around her clique as she'd work so damn hard to get to the position that she was in now, and not being there in person just made things feel less like high school and that she had a life again, rather than being stuck indoors and trapped due to COVID.
Snapping from her thoughts, Gab adjusted her duffle back as her twin brother approached her, the pair walking towards the field where the other cheerleaders and footballers were. "Seriously Gab, stay away from him, he's trouble you know?" he rhetorically told her, implying to stay away from the Quarterback, the brunette rolling her eyes. As if she was going to take social advice from him, and besides what did he know anyways? Not as though they were friends. She smacked her lips together as she looked at her brother, shrugging her shoulders, and she gave him a small nudge before jesting him with a response.
"Say's the one that's too awkward and afraid to talk to his crush, I think I'm good, I know what I'm doing, thanks for the advice though." she smirked, rolling her eyes at him, nudging him on the shoulder again, indicating she had to head onto the field to warm up and go over their cheer routine before the football game. Taking note that Dante shaking his head in disapproval in the distance as she jogged onto the field, gently placing her gym bag down where the rest of her team mates were and the girl began to warm up, saying hi to the rest of the girls.
Continuing with her stretches, Gab eyed the field seeing Dwayne and the rest of the football team, Hailee very late running in to finally join them, the brunette raising a brow as she noticed the hickey marks alongside her neck. Gross. She thought to herself. Elowen helping herself to a remark “You’re lucky coach is distracted right now~” she paused “Otherwise you might get a talk about those lovely marks on your neck.” and the girl found herself stifling a small laugh when Hailee jabbed back ”Might want to focus more on who’s not here as opposed to who’s late." and she looked over to her two BFF's, Victoria and Tally.
There was chatter amongst them for a bit, as Tally spoke. "It's so good to back, dontchya think?" she asked, stretching, Gab doing the same. "I thought I was going to lose it, being locked up all the time, especially with Jasp - oh, s**t, Jasper!", the girl raised a brow at her best friend, slightly confused. Had she missed something? "Wait what - ." she was cut off "Hang on," Tally said, jogging over to her bag and popping on her phone. Gab pulled a face, confused, but she'd find out what all that was about later.
Before she knew it, there was a quick break, prior the game starting and the whole team would begin their routine, which Gab had muscle memorised and knew down pat, and she was beyond excited to be cheering on the Seahawks again.
---
The game had started, Gab did a few stunts, back hand springs and threw her poms in the air, yelling for the Seahawks to score. However, within moments everyone was distracted as there was a commotion on the field.
By the third quarter of the game, Gabriella found herself concerned as she grimaced at the sight of a pile up on Sebastian and brown eyes flung towards Elowen whom had stormed over towards Dwayne, creating a scene. “I know it was you,” Gab was in awe, what the hell? “I saw you talking to your old team, you ursuper.” she heard Elowen go off at him, she was pissed. The teen paced over quickly towards them as Elowen huffed in annoyance, jabbing at Dwaynes chest, Gab's mouth gaping slightly from shock by her team mates next comment. “Are you really doing all of this because of Amayah? How ******** childish,”, the latina looking back and forth, not biting her tongue. "Guys, chill the ******** out!" her tone assertive as Dwayne pushed past Elowen gently Who are you again?" he smirked at Elowen and called out "C'mon ref! There's a cheerleader on the field! Get her off before someone tries to dog pile her next!" and Gab rolled her eyes, and this was their queue to leave and resume the game. "Elowen, let's go." the girl stated firmly motioning for them to return back to their team.
---
Well, that game was a mess all together, but Gab was beyond glad it was over now and she was looking forward to this party, and getting with the girls always made things easier. She had hoped that her brother would at least attempt to show up instead of locking himself up in his room playing a game. Snapping from her thoughts, Gab laughed at Vic who grew frustrated. ”Augh!” she watched as she threw the eyeliner into the sink, irritated. ”Tally, I swear to god, if I don’t get it right this time, I am going to have to murder someone.” Gab laughed, turning to them both as she finalised her makeup, smacking her lips together. "Girl, you need to relax, it's all about patience, throwing that poor eyeliner like that, damn chica what'd it ever do to you?" she couldn't help but make a small joke.
Music played and the group were interrupted by Vic's cousin as she entered. "Are you ready to go yet?” she asked impatiently, her friend snapping back at her ”Colleen, does it look like I’m close to finished?”, Gabriella rolling her eyes as Vic attempted the eyeliner one more time and managed to get it right. The three readjusted their outfits and Victoria chimed excitedly ”Okay, are you ready? We need to take a mirror selfie.”, Gabriella nodding, flashing a smile, knowing they looked incredible and this would be posted on all socials.
Finally, they made their way into the car, Colleen driving them. ”So what do you think, how hard are we going to party tonight? It’s been so long that I'm almost tempted to get completely wrecked.”, Gabriella glancing at her phone. ”Cause Colleen is the freaking best and would love to pick us up no matter the time!”. The latina grinned, eager to party as Victoria chattered. ”And there’s just something about Tae and Dae’s house that makes losing my sh-t way too easy.”
"Their house is just memories galore" Gabriella smiled hearing the blaring music as they pulled up, thanking Colleen as they hopped out of the car, she put her hands on her hips, indicating for her BFF's to link up with her as they'd stride in together to the party. "Ready?" she asked, smiling, the unholy trinity making their debut once again.

Unlike his twin sister, Dante despised being back at Argosy High. He'd much rather be at home playing GTA Online or Forza. The idea of being back in these hallways surrounded by cliques made him squirm, he really didn't want to do it, but he knew he had to now that online learning had come to a halt and Zoom classes were over. It appeared as if life was relatively normal again, and he'd have to kiss bye bye to his late nights and tech savvy excuses to bail out of Zoom earlier, the most common excuse used in his books ever being technical diffculties and it seemed to work every damn time. It's not as though their teachers even really gave a s**t, and Dante didn't have that much expectations either - as long as he got his work done and stayed away from trouble, he had no interest in the rest.
Until, of course things changed and somehow his twin sister Gab had convinced him to be more social and at least try to be less of a hermit. Did she pull the twin guilt trip card? Of course she did. It was utterly unfair, but he supposed she had a point too. Gab was only trying to do what was best for him, and that was bring him out of his shell, therefore in return after being on the track team, the least he could do was sway her from making any impulsive dumb choices; she was fiery enough, never shutting her mouth and being far too outspoken. One day, he ought to see it, although very unlikely of it actually happening, was Gabriella silent.
His eyes peered towards his sister who was adjusting her gym bag before him, brown eyes gazing at her as the pair walked in the direction of the football field, where Gabriella would soon join her cheer team and the rest of the girls, while he sat in the bleachers on his phone playing Clash of Clans, pretending as if he'd watched the football game and his sister's routine. He'd seen it that many times anyways, so even if he wasn't paying attention, he would be able to recite her moves if she asked.
It had come to the teen's attention lately that Gabriella was pining, beginning to show an interest in their Quarterback, and he'd be damned if he let her go anywhere near his sister. Grumbling, the male did his best to warn her "Seriously Gab, stay away from him, he's trouble you know?", implying that it wasn't just a rumour that he'd knocked up Amayah, as literally everyone knew it, and there was just no ******** way he was going to allow that to happen to Gabriella.
Overprotective?
Perhaps.
But it was for the right reasons.
In that moment Gab nudged his shoulder, impishly pestering him as she shrugged her shoulders, Dante noting that she was too stubborn to listen to him, so he'd have to try another angle. "Say's the one that's too awkward and afraid to talk to his crush, I think I'm good, I know what I'm doing, thanks for the advice though." he watched as she rolled her eyes at him smirking, nudging him on the shoulder once more and finally disappearing. Dante not having the chance to say anything to his sister again before she was on the field.
"Alright, see ya, I guess." he muttered under his breath as he exhaled and walked up towards the bleachers, scanning his surroundings, finding an empty seat and pulling out his phone, airpods in as the familiar sound of Clash of the Clans started up, his iphone interface game screen being interrupted by an incoming chime and group text.

Tossing his brown locks, the male quickly responded as he rose from his position and began making his way over towards the Concession Stand. At least there he'd feel more comfortable vibing with his own people and best friend.
---
"Looooks like I'm late! Did you do all of this by yourself?!" he heard Dani call towards Lauren as he approached them, seeing his best mate's posture change slightly. "Yeah, it's alright - it wasn't too hard to set up.", Dante grinned, he was being modest. "Dude, this looks sick!" he exclaimed proudly, noting that Lauren was a bit pre occupied ""As a reward for being adventurous, Miss Opaline, you also win the mystery free drink of the night.", the male chuckled. Was he attempting to flirt?
His calm demeanour stopped when Jasper cut the line and Lauren piped up "Dude, you can't just cut in line because your girlfriend's here. You either get back in line or help out." he stated, Dante observed as Lauren and Dani continued to chat "Nonono, hey-", his eyes focused on their body language "I can pay for it, now get back in line, you filthy line jumper~" she teased "Oooone cotton candy and a pack of starbursts, pleeeaaase~" Dante deciding to be a tease and stir the pot. "Oooh, busted" he remarked in a joking manner and his attention went straight back to his best bud who was right back at it. "Sorry 'bout that, babe. he paused, "You know how to open one of these?" the male letting out a small snort watching the events unfold in front of him as Dani stood there quietly. "Hey..." she started, handing Lauren he amount she owed, the teen running his hand through his hair awkwardly. "It's not necessarily public knowledge, but Jas and I aren't together anymore. Buuuuut next time, I'll make sure he doesn't cut~" she promised, giving him a quick wink before grabbing the sweets and getting out of line, brown eyes following her as she made her way back towards the bleachers.
His focus turned to Lauren. "Now what the hell was that?" he asked, letting out a cheeky laugh and grin as he offered to help with the rest of the customers. "Scoot over bro" jumping into the stand.
---
After the football game had finished and the Seahawks had gotten their fair share of fun, Dante was starting to feel a little worn out, however Gab had managed to somehow rope him into coming to the party, and he'd promised he would come for a few hours at least, and had decided to ask if Kaleb wanted to come hang too, if not and they got bored, they could always boot and head back to his place for a game of COD or two.
Whipping out his phone, Dante clicked on the screen writing up a quick text.

Putting his phone away, as the loud thumping of music distorted everything else. ********, he was so out of place here, and he looked like an idiot just standing around awkwardly. Exhaling, the teen walked towards the drinks grabbing one of the red party cups filled with beer. Cup in one hand and phone in the other, Dante looked around the house for a friendly face, he needed a conversation stat or he was leaving. Shrugging his shoulders, the brunette proceeded to walk over to the couches, taking a seat, and sipping at his beer, all whilst eagerly waiting for some kind of interaction.
This was not his scene at all.
