Jennifer's background is a happy one, up until the tragedy of her sister, Emily's death.

The happy part; Jennifer and Emily spent most of their time together, they were only a year apart in age, Emily being the older. They went to school together, thy lived together, of course, and because their mother was afraid of something happening to either one of them, she made Emily basically babysit Jen when they went out. The sisters had a great home life, and were very close. Their mother was a nurse, their father a successful professor at the top University in the state. Neither of their parents traveled very much, so the family got to spend time together, unlike some. They sat down for dinners together, and had a great breakfast every morning before work and school.

Jennifer and Emily were two very different people, but got along splendidly. Of course they had their fights and arguments and falling outs, but they always made up afterwords and forgot about it the next day. Forgive and forget.

The day of Emily’s death came as a complete shock to Jennifer. Of course as soon as she and her parents were informed, they rushed to the hospital. They spent the next few hours at Emily's bedside. Emily was in a shock induced coma, not expected to wake up, and suffering neurological damage, and internal bleeding, which led to mass organ failure. It took 3 hours for Emily to pass away. Jen, a usually happy go lucky, smiling sweetheart felt a range of different emotions that day. Anger, confusion, denial, and overwhelming sadness.

After that day, during her mourning period, Jennifer felt different, not just sad, but empty. She was involved in the funeral planning, and attended the funeral, of course. She stood with her remaining family next to the casket, barely hearing the condolences offered by the funeral goers.

Jennifer felt it wasnt fair. Emily had a fantastic life, she was so intelligent, so beautiful, so successful in school and athletics, and all of her after school activities. She naturally excelled at nearly anything she tried. Jennifer didnt understand how someone w=with so much potential could be gone with the blink of an eye. The more Jen thought about it, the more something slowly changed within her.

Jennifer was the first of the group of friends to fade away. She closed herself off, wallowed in her depression, and stayed inside, not answering calls or texts. In the two years it has been since Emily passed, Jen as gradually changed herself. She dyed her hair from her light brown to the lovely blonde her sister had, and started wearing the same style of clothes. She involved herself in her sisters activities, faking her smile and happiness the entire way. Things got more extreme when Jennifer started going by Emily's name. She wouldnt respond to Jen, only Emily, and talked about Emily as if she was her. She wanted to be her sister, she wanted her sister to live, and she was going to make that happen.

Her parents got worried, this wasn’t exactly a healthy coping mechanism, living out her dead sisters life. Jen started seeing a nationally renowned psychiatrist. She was put on an anti depressant, and an anti psychotic. The medication helped with the delusion that she was her sister, and Jen started going back to her own self, to a point. She kept the blonde hair and the style, and strong traces of Emily's personality, but she was mentally aware she was not Emily.

When Jen got the invitation to the cabin, she didnt respond. She didnt want to go, the idea of spending a week with her dead sisters friends was uncomfortable. She always felt as if the only reason these people tolerated her was because she was Emily's sister. Her parents coaxed her into it, though, promising she would enjoy herself. She would see.

ღ THE ARTISTIC ONE : Alexis Lucien Morreti

Jen likes the happy attitude he always had around his friends, when they all hung out together. She always loved looking at his drawings, he was very talkented as far as she could remember. However, she didnt know exactly how she felt about going to his parents cabing for the reunion, seeing as he was more Emily's friend than hers.

ღ THE NEW COMER : Mary Jane Wallace

Jen didnt even know there would be a new face at the cabin, but she sure is glad there is. She feels like having a fresh start with someone new will be good for her. Since the newcomer knows nothing about Emily and the such maybe they can get along super?

ღ THE TROUBLED ONE : Fischer McConnell Reyes

In the past Fischer and Emily were really close, and Fischer was basically part of the family. He would come over to the Lamore house alot but Jen never really got a chance to get to know him all that well because Emily was Fischers priority and vice versa. Maybe they could get to know each other better now

ღ THE FLIRTY ONE : Darren Gus Sommers

Jen and Darren were friends when the group hung out together, and she found ti cute he had a crush on her sister, and heavily encouraged him to tell her. Unfortunately he never got the chance, and after Emily died they fell out of touch.

ღ THE MUSICAL ONE : Lillianna Fei Hope

Lill was Emily's best of friends, so Jen got to know her through Emily, and they got along pretty well. Jen knows Lill is uncomfortable with her physical appearance as of now, and she understands, but she'll do all she can to show her and everyone else she is still Jen.

ღ THE DELINQUENT ONE : Quinn Aiden McAngel

The only true friend in the group Jen feels she has, he made her feel like she existed beyond her sisters shadow when the group was together. She likes to think they were a bit more than friends, or at least getting there, and she had some serious feelings for him. She hopes they can become as close as they were before again, maybe even a little more. Jen is super excited, but a little scared to see him again.

ღ THE SMART ONE : Anora May Tyson

ღ THE FUNNY ONE : David Nathaniel Greene

Even though I've had two years to get over it I am still pissed (excuse me) about the awful jokes he thought it was appropriate to say at my sisters funeral. I mean, who does that? The others may have been hurt by it, but not more than me, and I havent forgotten. He hurt and disgusted me that day. Maybe I'll get over it, maybe not, but I see uncharacteristic aggression towards him coming.

ღ THE REBELLIOUS ONE : Claudia Louise Webb

Clauia and Jen never really had a past/ They never hung out alone, really, so they know each other well at all. Jen never really felt like they could be friends anyway, their interests were far too different. While Jen loved quiet nights inside with some tea and a movie, Claudia could be found out somewhere partying with loud music, and that was way too far outside Jen's comfort zone.
