                                                        ● ● NAME
Kijima Ryuuzaki. Last name, Kijima. First name, Ryuuzaki.
This should be fairly straightforward, even for a simpleton.

                                                        ● ● NICKNAME
Back before we split, my old group of friends used to call me Ryuu.
I can't say I don't miss it. Nowadays, I've never really been close
enough to anyone to be called anything less formal than "Kijima-san".

                                                        ● ● GENDER
Ha ha, very funny. Is it the hair? Screw you. I'm a guy.

                                                        ● ● AGE
As much as I hate to admit being the youngest, I'm nineteen.

                                                        ● ● ORIENTATION
I'm not gay or anything, but... The only person who's ever really caught
my attention romantically was another boy. What're you gonna do.

                                                        ● ● OCCUPATION
I'm a student. I couldn't really tell you what I'm majoring in, since I keep
changing my mind. I'm also a part-time tutor, 'cause I'm hella smart and
it's a way to get some job experience.

                                                        ● ● LIKES
Proving superiority, books, electronics, looking sophisticated, strange
fashion, obscure delicacies, new shoes, rainy weather, fancy apparel,
nighttime, sleeping, writing, aesthetically pleasing things, sweets.

                                                        ● ● DISLIKES
Nostalgia, funny smells, fast food, hot weather, most girls, people who
don't present themselves well, the ocean, solicitors, strangers, making
                                                            decisions.

                        ● ● HEIGHT
Five foot six. I'm not ridiculously short, but you could say I still have
                            something of a height complex.

                        ● ● WEIGHT
I'm 129 pounds, not that heavy. Right?

                        ● ● COLORATION
I've got fair skin, black hair, and dark violet eyes. They're contacts,
of course. My real eyes are a dark brown. I have contacts in other
colors, but I prefer the violet ones.

                        ● ● STYLE
Like my haircut? Yeah, it's real. I know most people just think it's
bizarre looking, but I enjoy the uniqueness. I have a similar taste
when it comes to my clothes, as well. When I'm not dressing up
in expensive, dressy things, I'm exploring the sides of fashion
that are not as frequently touched upon. I always choose what I
wear according to my own laws of aesthetics, but sometimes I'll
be seen wearing something gaudily shocking, just because it was
one of the more expensive items in the store. I generally like to
show off my wealth in the form of fashion. Some types of clothing
I particularly enjoy are pea coats, arm warmers, collared shirts,
skinny jeans, leg warmers, ties, and hairpins.

                                                        ● ● PERSONALITY
Ryuu's personality isn't exactly one of his strong points. He always
tries a little too hard to appear aloof, collected, and indifferent on
the outside to conceal the less pleasant feelings hidden beneath.
However, this façade is a mask that shatters easily and altogether
doesn't fit in the first place. Sometimes he can pull this off, but
generally either his naturally stubborn, hotheaded disposition gets
to him or he just ends up making himself look like an utter fool. In
many cases both. He possesses something of a superiority complex,
so he's constantly attempting to one-up people. Often he makes
condescending remarks and comes off as rather conceited, although
this is just a cover-up, as well. In reality he's got terrible self-esteem,
and he is ever-conscious about what people think of him. Ever since
the incident, he's lived a life of discontent, feeling like everything he
does will turn out to be a mistake.

                                                        ● ● BIOGRAPHY
Ryuuzaki was born as an only child into a rather fortunate family. Both
of his parents have steady incomes, not to mention his mother had
inherited a slightly-more-than-modest sum of money from her late
father. Ryuu's family isn't filthy rich, but they are definitely quite affluent.
Since they were always able to afford things, Ryuu grew up to be quite a
spoiled child, since his parents always gave him what he wanted and were
lacking in the area of disciplinary teaching for their kid. When he was first
sent to kindergarten, he proved to be quite a terror in the classroom
because he didn't like the other kids and the teachers didn't always wait
on him hand and foot. Throughout elementary school, however, he came
to realize his situation and mellowed down a bit, although his spoiled
manner really just shifted into an air of superiority, and he still refused to
get along with the other kids in his grade. He thought that this was the
life: he had luxuries, an education, and people left him alone enough so
that he didn't have to deal with the drama that came with "friends". Still,
he felt somewhat empty, although he never admitted it to himself.

Middle school changed everything. He was still his usual, isolated self,
but somehow he found himself intrigued by a certain group of boys. They
were -- somewhat inspiring. He couldn't really put a finger on it, but these
people were definitely apart from the rest of the lowlifes that Ryuu had to
deal with. Miraculously, he ended up hanging around them more and more
and they eventually came to accept him as one of their own. For once in
his life, he felt satisfied. Perhaps this was what he really was looking for
all his life: friends that he could rely on. As middle school neared its end,
his life hit a rough patch that made him really grateful he had close friends.
His parents, who had once been cheerful, loving, and supportive of their son,
seemed to drift away from him as they began bickering with each other. A
divorce became inevitable, and as though the fighting between his parents
was contagious, he began to lash out at them himself. He felt somewhat
cheated with the knowledge that his parents no longer seemed to love each
other. Stressed out by his family situation, Ryuuzaki started neglecting his
studies, and his grades fell, which only added to his worries. At this point,
his friends were the only stable thing in his life.

Entering high school, one of his six good friends seemed to be falling away
from them. He kept skipping classes and began to hang out with them less
and less. This threw Ryuuzaki into a panic. If his friends fell apart, then he
would no longer have anything to cling to. His parents were in the process
of a divorce and he had minimal motivation to improve his grades. He
confronted his friend, attempting to use a voice of reason to bring him to
his senses, but when the boy refused to listen, Ryuu got angry. All his
frustrations from the past year that had been brimming inside him burst,
and he lost it. In a fit of rage, he yelled at his friend, and even though the
boy wasn't even the primary source of Ryuuzaki's anger, he received the
brunt of his abuse. Ryuu was half-aware that he had a misguided anger
towards his friend, but he could keep his feelings in no longer. After that
day, Ryuu, still bitter, sought to avoid him, and a few days later, he turned
up dead. Ryuu realized that his outburst had been the last time he spoke to
the boy, and shame washed over him. Appalled with himself, he fled from his
friends with the excuse that he had to focus on himself more. He never really
made any friends after that, and although he managed to raise his grades, he
became even more distant from humanity than he was before he met his old
group of friends. Now he studies aimlessly through college with no inspiration
or drive, missing his friends every day. Even though news of one of his old
buddies returning to the area has reached him, he hasn't made an attempt to
                                                            contact anyone.
