I'm not the DM of the campaign, my boyfriend is. OMFG. We just had a lich join our party...or something similar to a lich, and a cleric who worshiped the faith that the lich guy created, because we lack healing.
If I'm remembering right, we also have a really short irishman. With a lot of alcohol.
Okay... that just ramped the insane-o-meter on up there.

Irishman? Alcohol you say? That sounds totaly awesome!! Hmm... I may use that to make a goblin drunkard. blaugh

Yeah, we had a monk who dropped out as well. And a half celestial ranger, and I'm not sure if our flaming half elf who wields a flame whip and a fairy fire bow is still in it or not.

I've played a game where some weird girl (8cough* Me) was gnome punting her then-boyfriend around, which got us out of a situation that would have had us dead otherwise, killed a few orcs, did I mention it sucked when he landed in a bugbear's butt? Yeah...

Our monk once had his hand go up a grey render's a**

Yup, that's a critical fumble. *laughs*
that sucks to be him ><
I'd like to make a note, becuase a lot of players have made this mistake in the past.

Magical weapons can only be maximum +5/+5, minimum +1/+0

IE... Your weakest magic weapon is a +1 Shortsword, and your strongest is a +5 Vorpal Shortsword.

You can not have a "Masterworked Keen Rapier" because there is no +1 bonus. It would need a +2 bonus at creation, because keen costs a +1 bonus.

ALSO

Does keen apply to Daggers and Rapiers? They're both piercing weapons, and I always thought Keen only affected Slashing weapons... or is it just all Meele weapons?

All weapons. Vorpal only affects Slashing weapons.

Not entirely true. Keen only affects Slashing weapons, but there are two other varients that apply to Piercing and Bludgeoning weapons... Impaling and Impact, respectively.

Or, that's how I remember it from 3.0, but if you ask me, that makes a bit more sense. I mean, come on. A keen hammer?

I don't recall Impaling and Impact in the v3.5 DMG. And I never read anything on Keen saying it was only a certain type of weapon.

Impact and Impaling are from Eberron. Dungeons and Dragons Online has them, and I'll bet the UA, or Complete Warrior has them too =)
Keen: This ability doubles the threat range of a weapon. Only piercing or slashing weapons can be keen. (If you roll this property randomly for an inappropriate weapon, reroll.) This benefit doesn’t stack with any other effect that expands the threat range of a weapon (such as the keen edge spell or the Improved Critical feat).

Moderate transmutation; CL 10th; Craft Magic Arms and Armor, keen edge; Price +1 bonus.

The variant turns Piercing "Keen" into Impaling and Bludgeoning into Impact, but they're listed in other books, not the DMG.

Second sentence states that only piercing or slashing weapons can be keen... which is a minor mistake on my part, because I don't remember Piercing weapons being under the Keen flag. D'oh.. I'll have to go back and do a bit more research myself, it seems.

DM: SO... what feats are you guys gonna choose for this level?

Me: WEll I am thinking about taking improved two weapon fighting

DM: Why is that?

Me: It's so that I won't take any penalties for my combo later in the game.

DM: What combo?

Me: Well... I am going tobuy 2 Keen Masterwork Rapiers for 600 gold, the keen doubling their already awesome crit range of 18-20. Now, at level 8 I will take the Improved Critical(Rapier) feat so I will have an effective crit range on my rapiers of 9-20.

DM: ...
AHAHAHAHA!!! YOU CAN'T DO THAT! ANd several other said so.
DM: "Okay, so what's your race?"
Wizard: "Goblin."
DM: "Oh, okay... wait, WHAT? Lemme see that character sheet... HOW THE HELL DO YOU HAVE STR 16, CHA 15, INT 19?!"
Wizard: "Really good rolls."

...From that point on, I enforced the point buy system.
