Anyway though, something I wouldn't want to hear (but would love to hear it like a bad drug) as a DM:

What does the Moonless Age comic have to do with people making Drizzt clones? neutral

People were saying that any time a non evil drow is mentioned, people first think of Drizzt, I'm just saying because i started learning about drow from a different source, the first image that comes to mind when non evil drow are mentioned is something completely different.

You would be surprised how many good aligned drow live in the underdark.
It's just not something you want to flaunt with down there.

Yeah... There's a lot more nonevil Drow then mentioned, but they'll all fake it for as long as they have to. If they find a means to get the s**t out of there without being hunted by their own people or other races, they might.

Yeah... There's a lot more nonevil Drow then mentioned, but they'll all fake it for as long as they have to. If they find a means to get the s**t out of there without being hunted by their own people or other races, they might.

Some actually stay by choice as spies for good aligned surface dwellers.
What better race would know that the drow can't be trusted and should be kept an close eye on, then the drow themselves?
I actually love this drow saying, "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me for allowing you to survive your first try."
Maybe that's why there aren't that many second chances in the underdark.

In a one shot, the gnome cleric KO'd the demon with one hit.
That was after we had mixed ammonia and bleach and asphyxiated the wizard who summoned it. (It was a modern-fantasy crossover).

I find Chaotic Neutral Drow are more common than all out good ones.
Mostly as ninjas, rogues, warlocks, and beguilers.

Lawful and true neutral actually.
Drow society doesn't really allow for free spirits that say "The hell with drow laws, I have my own set of rules to live by."
They usually end up as slaves or worse.

My weasle familair (which has a reputation for not getting hit) attacks the opponent and delivers the Finger of Death spell for me.

I use Time Stop. I get *rolls* 5 free rounds. I cast 5 empowered Delayed Blast Fireballs all set to go off as soon as Time Stop ends.
(on average the Time Stop + empowered Delayed Blast Fireball combo does around 327.5 points of damage in a single round and can hit multiple targets. That includes the average number of extra rounds you get for Time Stop.)

Wizard: "I cast Polymorph on the rogue turning him into a 12 headed hydra."
Next round:
Wizard: " I cast Greater Invisability on the Rogue."
Rogue: "I sneak attack 12 times in a single round."
