E-CORP, otherwise known as the Egg Corporation,
are the hench-hares hired by the Easter Bunny to spread the cheer of
Easter to everyone all over Gaia. It is a fan made group created with
the intent of keeping the Easter Bunny as an active NPC and as the
sole runner of his own holiday, the latter of which is most difficult for
them to accomplish.
Recently, the Easter Bunny's backstory was explored
in the manga. Long ago, lived a rabbit of great beauty and generosity with an
affinity for hiding chocolate eggs. Children of all ages from across the lands of
Gaia came to this rabbit in flocks, bowing at his feet in awe of his radiant beauty
and kindness. He would repay them with gifts of chocolate and gorgeous
hand-painted eggs for paying him homage. But, alas--this happiness he knew
could not stay. A couple of holiday figures grew jealous! Jealous of his wealth,
jealous of his beauty! Jealous of his chocolaty eggs! Jack, a nobody at the time,
was so filled with hatred for our glorious and perfect leader that he Sharydouken'd
him in his beautiful face--scarring it for all time. Now our poor leader hides his
once-beautiful face behind a mask--wearing a biomechanical suit of his making
to ensure nothing like that will ever happen again. Despite his hideous body, he
worked tirelessly for us Gaians. He gave us gifts for remembering what he was.
He worked so hard for us, now it is time for us to work for him. E-Corp was formed
in his name so we could work for our overlord and bring him the joy he so desperately
deserves. The Easter Bunny has since been granted the Christmas gift of his long
lost beauty, but that will not put an end to the legacy of E-Corp. We shall stand
by Easter Bunny's side and "WRECK MORE S#%T"!
Tl;dr: The holiday spirit of Easter itself, the Easter Bunny is a white bunny
with an adorable face and robotic metal exoskeleton, as well as severe
psychological issues we all relate with.
This is where you can take a glimpse at E-CORPs long and detailed history, as told by, our guild leader, Ashlex_in_pearl!
Easter 2011
E-Corp was established in the GCD on Thursday March 03, 2011 at 6:58 pm.
A small group of Gaian's discovered the truth of that years Easter Event,
that no longer would the Easter Bunny be included. The staff was
slowly replacing him with the little grunny who would be our president. They
had to act and they had to act quick!
Equiped with as many clock eggs as they could from a previous event, in
which the Easter Bunny gifted clock eggs to every Gaian for April
Fools Day. They sent eggs to as many people as they could, even to as
many staff members as they could. They attacked the Ask The Admin
every Monday with questions about Easter and the Easter Bunny.
They entered avatars into the Avatar Arena with the E-Corp uniform. They
were determined to show everyone that there were enough people out there
who loved this crazy cyborg bunny and demanded to see more of him!
Then, Easter of 2011, the Easter Bunny made a triumphant return!
Facing against Diedrich, the fight was on for the fate of Easter itself! Would
Diedrich's side collect more eggs, or would the Easter Bunny's?
During the event, both sides collected as many eggs as they could. The
Easter Bunny's side received a very pleasant surprise upon collecting
200 eggs: Easter 2k11 E-Corp Lab Coat! It was the first step to true
recognition, the staff knew we were there and we meant business. E-Corp
gained the upper hand, morale at an all time high, and won! Everyone on the
Easter Bunny's side received the Easter Monarch crown prize. They
had done it. They had won and gotten the Easter Bunny back where
he belongs!
E-Corp was given a purpose, and a goal. One we would survive through
the years to see through.
Easter 2012
The Easter event of 2012 was a direct response to what happened the
previous year. Because there were so many eggs left over, Diedrich pigged
out and ate every egg left over, causing himself to grow super fat and pop
out little grunny babies all over the place. The options during the event were
to either send the babies to adoption centers, or melt them down in the
Easter Bunny's Homogenizer. As it seemed, more Gaians were willing
to adopt out the little green monstrosities as opposed to destroying them,
so, Diedrich's side won, seeming like the whole of Gaia was against them,
E-Corp fought back, their outrage obvious, but seeming to fall on deaf ears.
Their outrage attracted the attention of the mods and shots were fired within
the fanthread. Though things seemed to work out in the end, it didn't feel
quite like E-Corp would be treated the same way again. Despite feeling
like the entire world was against them. Still, they trucked on, their goal
as clear as ever.
In November, E-Corp hosted a thread to welcome users who had joined from
TinierMe. The staff hosted a a special forum to introduce those coming from
TinierMe to Gaia. E-Corp welcomed them with a special contest which
utilized the TinierMe dream selfy creator.
Easter 2013
In February came the 10th anniversary of Gaia! For the celebration, as well
as the For the love of Gaia Valentines event, E-Corp celebrated with a Mard E Gras celebration!
It was a simple celebration with little contests and bead throwing, as one
last celebration before the hench-hares were all gathered for the 40 days
and 40 nights of non stop preparation for Easter. Great stress reliever.
Then came the great story arc of 2013, one that would connect 3 different
holiday events in a way we could have only dreamed of. Activity stirred
within the forums as hints dropped about the event starting early in
March with the staff posting cryptic messages and an empty puzzle
board.
Eggs were collected by both sides, each also fighting to change threads
over to the other side. E-Corp, proudly on the Anti-Cute side. Their first
thread was taken over, succumbed to the cute and ultimately destroyed.
They began anew, and fought back harder! Anti-cute had a new home!
Quotes: The Easter Bunny
✚ Ha! The thread is mine! Eat it, cuties!
✚ My metal fists will crush cuteness forever! Post 50 times in 5 minutes or the thread will be claimed for Anti-Cuteness!
✚ This isn't over! I'll destroy you yet, cute-lovers!
✚ This thread is mine now! If I can't be cute, nobody can! The Cute team must post 50 times in 5 minutes or the Easter Bunny will steal the thread!
✚ This thread won't be so cute after I punch it in its stupid face! Team Cute must post here 50 times in 5 minutes or the Easter Bunny will claim the thread!
Rabbots
✚ (A Rabbot is near! If the Cute team doesn't post 50 times in 5 minutes, he'll ruin the thread with all his thumping!)
✚ (The Rabbot has stolen the thread! A major blow has been struck against cuteness.)
✚ (The Rabbot hops away shamefully.)
✚ (The Rabbot whirs menacingly. Team Cute must post 50 times in 5 minutes or Rabbots will overrun the thread!)
✚ (You hear the metallic clank of a hopping-mad Rabbot. Team Cute had better post 50 times in 5 minutes, or the thread will be lost!)
During the event, a special bundle was released in the cash shop, the Bows
and Bolts bundle! Included Leporine Warrior, Pastel Sweetie, Rabbot Brigade,
and the exclusive Astra-66: Coy Cotton!
At the conclusion of the event, every Gaian received a Mystery Friend.
Upon opening, you see a Pegacorn fluff, as well as a sneak peak to what the
next event will be! Okay, it wasn't much if a sneak peak, but it made all of
E-Corp rejoice!
What the Fluff?! was the summer event in which all Gaians took care of the
battle worn fluffs beaten up by the Easter Bunny and E-Corp.
In May, an E-Corp Sponsored item removal event was posted by Lord Lapin. Project P.U.R.G.E. (Painfully Untimely Removal of Grabbit-like Entities) was
created in an attempt to rid Gaia of any and all items pertaining to Diedrich.
It was a success for the most part, until the GRS started questioning how
such a project was being funded. The official report being: "It is highly illegal
to recruit children to sell chocolate in Toxic Waste Facilities and Atom Bomb
testing facilities." So, to keep the GRS off their backs, E-Corp was forced
to care for the fluffs
The conclusion to What The Fluff?! gave E-Corp more insight to who their
target really was. The Easter Bunny, looking on as Gaians care for their
fluffs, , he reveals that, in fact, this was not the way to be rid of cute.
He expressed that the real target is the one who damaged his face, Jack.
Halloween would be where he would end it once and for all. They waited
for the moment when they would strike.
Early in October, as speculations were going around, there was a special
message directed to E-Corp from the Easter Bunny himself.
It was just the beginning. E-Corp had gotten the ultimate recognition,
acknowledged by the one they worked hard for years to support and keep
alive. All was right.
Then, just before the Halloween event, the Easter Bunny appeared in the
E-CORP fanthread once more with another simple message.
It was the heads up E-Corp had been waiting for! The aniticipation for the
upcoming event was finally answered. And with that warning from the Easter
Bunny, came some sass from, you guessed it, Jack.
From there, the two continued to argue in both the E-CORP Fanthread as well
as J-Corp's Fanthread. The interaction was brief, but they responded to
several users as well. Excitement began to build on both sides. Most of
the sass you are about to see took place in J-Corp's fanthread.
(For anyone who doesn't know: Hasenpfeffer is a traditional German stew made
from marinated rabbit or hare, cut into stewing-meat sized pieces and braised
with onions and a marinade made from wine and vinegar.
MAJOR OPINION ALERT
Looking back on the arguments that went on, its clear to see that the Easter
Bunny was releasing all his pent up anger in his speeches, however, Jack
rarely responded to these advances, instead just responding to Gaians as they
posted. That to me proves that Jack is more or less a coward.
Things heated up on both sides as E-Corp and J-Corp members exchanged
fierce words in anticipation for the upcoming battle. Though they were enemies,
they maintained a certain level of respect for each other, for the most part.
Once the event began, the rough battle began.
Easterween Battlegrounds was the main spot to find small battles between
E-Corp and everyone else. Both sides engaged in combat, healers now and then
appearing. Though, they mainly stuck to the threads within each subforum for
both the Easter Bunny and Jack. Some time after the battle began, the
Eggheads at E-Corp sent out a formal challenge to Jack's followers.(Which
is my favorite part of the entire event.)
Manga Update: Overkill
The conclusion to H2k13 brought the destruction of Halloween Town and the
disappearance of both Jack and out beloved Easter Bunny. All of E-Corp
were lost in confusion. What had happened to them? Were they both destroyed
in the blast? The questions built up in our minds.
Both E-Corp and J-Corp were torn up about the events, but neither group wanted
to lose hope. They all kept positive that, in the end, both would emerge unharmed
and come back to them. Plans were in store to hold a mass Vigil for the two
holiday mascots in the home of E-Corp's own Yeata Zi.
There were nine Gaians who stepped forward and gave a speech in honor of both
holiday mascots. Yeata Zi, Kaiserin Kai, MoonRosePetal, Rune Skarsgard,
YourAzureGoddess, GriffinFire, ashlex_in_pearl, Pirate Captain Sushi, and Anaella.
(Usernames may or may not have changed since this time.) Video record of the Vigil
has been lost due to a chocolate flood in the records room, but the sentiment lives
on in all who attended.
Manga Update: Pumpkin Spice
The end of November, we got wind that Jack had survived the blast, simply missing
his head. It brought great tidings to E-Corp! If one had survived, then the other was
wandering around somewhere! Speculation flew about what would happen come Christmas.
Among the speculation, E-Corp thought it a good idea to contact Mrs. Claus in an
attempt to get help from Santa in the search to find the Easter Bunny.
Of course, the plea fell on deaf ears as the last chapter of the manga was released
in anticipation for the X-Mas event. Jack had gotten to Santa first, and they seemed to
know just where to find the Easter Bunny. For the first time, we get a glimpse of his face
without the mask, we got a glimpse of just how badly scarred hes been his entire life. It
was a tragic beginning to the event.
Still, things were business as usual for E-Corp. The X-Mas event went on, the manga
showing more and more until finally, all was settled on Christmas Day.
Manga Update: Jingle Bunny pt.1 - 3
Christmas morning came, and the Easter Bunny got his one wish: he was cute again.
E-Corp was stunned, shocked, and disappointed with the outcome. The buildup seemed to
be leading to something more, but it turned out to be more shallow than we ever imagined.
We knew all he wanted was to be cute again, but even he wasn't thinking about it at this
point. He was trying to figure out how he was going to get out of getting beat up by Jack
and Santa. But instead, they all became the most unlikely of friends. And all was well.
This caused major unrest within E-Corp. Many members were disappointed in general with
Gaia, ready to give up all together. But, enough of the members were willing to stick it out
for their beloved Easter Bunny. So long as he was happy, that was good enough for
them.
Easter 2014
Much of the information from the beginning of 2014 was lost to the chocolate flood in the
record room. E-Corp was in slight disarray, much of the crew seemed to be more inactive
and even the Captain had jumped ship. But, despite all the chaos that leaked in from X-Mas,
there were members who were determined to continue their work for the Easter Bunny.
We were all confused as to where we stood anymore, were we to embrace our inner cuteness?
Or do we continue to hide behind our masks? All that mattered was keeping E-Corp alive. A
fresh start was what the group needed, with a crew more dedicated to the cause. It was about
this time that E-Corp moved guilds and began anew.
Planning for Easter 2k14 went on before the guild move, as the ones still hanging around were
keeping things alive within E-Corp. Easter was early this year, but the Hench-Hares did their
best.
The Easter Bunny showed up after a little while to spread joy and gifts to all who
participated in the event, as well as anyone in many other ares of the forums! Though
he was on an auto-post rampage, it was still a delight to see him posting around.
Easter Bunny Quotes:
✚ I may have given up my plans for holiday mascot domination, but isn't it worth it? Look at me!
I'm the cutest thing ever!
✚ With my cuteness restored I am truly the greatest holiday mascot ever.
✚ Ugh, is Diedrich still trying to make this holiday all about him? How I loathe that little green
monstrosity...
✚ It's just not Easter without me, the adorable Easter Bunny! I just love being able to say that...
✚ E-CORP is still running smoothly, despite some earlier... mishaps. I'm truly grateful for all my
loyal supporters and workers!
✚ Where are Jack and Santa? How should I know? I'm not their babysitter.
✚ Eggs! Eggs everywhere! Eggs and prizes and cuteness!
✚ Happy Easter! Have a treat on me!Grab your egg.
✚ Have you all been enjoying my fun freebies and prizes?
✚ Ever since my face was magically fixed I've been feeling a lot better! I'd say my terrible rages
have gone down a whole 20%.
Prizes he gave away were eggs that hatched into little chicks and bunnies:
After Easter, came St. Patrick's Day. E-Corp didn't host any contests for it, as they were still
in remission after a long period of inactivity. But, there was enough Old Toad Robot Gin to go
around. We even have some here, if you would like some. The official unofficial drink of E-Corp ***DISCLAIMER: E-CORP is not responsible for any injury caused while under the influence of Old Toad
Robot Gin. Though it has robot in the name, it is safe for organic consumption. Side effects may include: nausea,
heart burn, a permanent taste of metal, intense chocolate craving, an addiction to paint fumes, and in rare cases
an urge to jump into the Homogenizer which we do keep active at all times. Drink at your own risk.
In May of 2014, E-CORP hosted a dance thread for the Spring Fling prom event! It was a fun
social event for the Hench-Hares as they fought to keep a Sentai(or Shoujo for many) status.
Simple contests followed suit, everything going according to plan.
Once the calm settled, the oceans of robot gin finally drunk and hangovers gotten conquered,
preparations came to go back in time for Halloween. Of course, with Jack just a wee little guy again,
we were free to do what we had planned without him interfereing, not that he was a problem
anymore anyway.
Amongst the battle between the angels and demons, E-CORP provided a safe haven to allow
others to recuperate, if they could survive long enough. It was spooky enough, with our creepy
bunny and chickie friends floating around. Another success, in the eyes of everyone involved.
While the masses of Gaia were trying to summon Fafnir in threads for X-Mas 2k14, the different
GCD Fanthread hosts banned together to bring a special thread to show the true meaning of
Christmas and how even despite their differences, each of them could come together for the
community!
The groups involved, besides E-CORP, were: S-CORP The D-Party The Black Core Military J-CORP The Paparazzi
The celebration was widely popular! Even though most people were busy with the actual event,
there were enough who stopped by to see the contests, which included, a raffle, some RNGs,
an X-Mas tree, dress up, and even some ugly sweaters! It was a great way to bring the community
together!
Things did slow down after New Years, as E-CORP began to prepare a few things, namely one,
a huge event to celebrate the 4th birthday of the group for Easter! The Hench-Hares began working
quick and hard to get as many eggs painted and explosives calibrated before the big event!
E-CORP put together a huge event for the community, including an actual Easter egg hunt and
a ton of other contests as well! the usual groups of Gaians were hanging out in the thread though-
out the event, they kept it active as everyone else wondered what was going to happen. Who were
the alien bunnies come to invade us? What was the thing Diedrich had found?
The biggest theory that floated around the event forum was that they were actually looking for the
White Ranger who was none other than our own Easter Bunny! They look just like what EB
did before his accident, so he seemed to make sense. Also, everyone believed the egg was a transmitter
that the Easter Bunny made himself, and that, once it was all said and done, he would leave with
the Rangers when the event ended. (Thankfully the last part wasn't true.)
Also a totally E-CORP canon story of how the story COULD have started, keeping the theory in mind.
Script in case you can't read my terrible handwriting
*Door slams open on a Gaian* Jack: "Yo Bunny!"
Easter Bunny: "I'm Busy, Jack."
Jack: "You know, ever since you got your cute back, you've been the same reclusive jerk!"
EB: "Unlike you, Jack, I have a holiday event to plan.
"I don't need to BULLY...
"...Gaians to prepare and fund the event for me. LIKE SOME."
Jack: "No, you just brainwash them!
"Threaten them, even! How is that different?"
*points to Grunt holding a box of unpainted eggs*
"You!"
Grunt: "M-Me?"
Jack: "Why are you following this dumb rabbit?"
EB: "Jack..."
Grunt: "Why...?
"Why wouldn't I? He's the kindest and most caring Holiday Mascot. He gives us wonderful gifts every year and never asks for anything in return! He loves us as our own mothers would, luring us into a false sense of security, then blowing us up with his gifts! He is wonderful and kind and... and..."
EB:Thank you, grunt, that'll do."
Grunt: "I love you."
EB: "I know."
Jack "Gag.
"...
"$&*#"
EB: "..."
Jack: "..."
*Anger intensifies*
EB: "JACK!!"
*E-CORP grunts bring in the Blaster 3000*
*Door slams as Jack escapes*
EB: *sigh* "Stupid fruit.
"I'm going on a supply run... Again."
*grabs bottle of Old Toad Robot Gin*
Grunt: "Yes, sir."
EB: "Grunt, take care of the festivities until I return. Don't let me down."
Grunt: "YES SIR! ABSOLUTELY SIR!
*Outside Diedrich finds the egg* "Did you know I found this?"
*Space ship flies in*
****END
Towards the end of the event, we finally got some answers. A conclusion to the manga appeared,
and quite frankly made E-CORP rage pretty bad.
To save you the time of scrolling through pages upon pages of major "NOTICE ME SENPAI" posts, Of which I was very guilty of, I have provided to you all the posts by Easter Bunny,
Diedrich, and any Ranger who posted.
(After everyone, mostly Hassli, telling Diedrich to Eat the egg)
In the end, it was revealed what was really inside the egg. So, between Gaians wanting to eat it, and people
still "NOTICE ME SENPAI"-ing still, it was an interesting end to a strange Easter event.
Once again, here are the posts from the aforementioned NPCs from the thread Diedrich posted: My egg is gone!
Rejected World Takeover Plans!
In May, during the throwback month of giveaways and contests, The Easter Bunny hosted
a special contest involving failed world domination plans. The turn out was incredible! So many
terrible plans, they made the big bunny cringe!
The Few, The Many...
Hench-Hares come in many different types, including, but not limited
to, Chickie, Rabbot, and Bunny. Creatures of Easter come from far
and wide to follow the Easter Bunny in his rampage of Easter
celebration and explosions. Here are a few examples(left to right):
Some may find E-CORP Headquarters in S. Aekea
[here]
The headquarters of the Easter Bunny was under construction
for a long time, until it was finally unveiled during the battle on Halloween 2k13.
Since, production has been tripled, and things have been running smoothly.
Did you know...?
✚ White chocolate is actually made from whatever is
left after making other chocolate: No actual chocolate
here!
✚ Eggs have been seen as ancient symbol of fertility, while
springtime is considered to bring new life and rebirth.

What has been your favorite Easter on Gaia? Do you think we need more Easter Bunny in the Gaia world? (Trick question, the answer is yes. Hehe)
Do you think Holiday events should be covered more or less by their designated representatives(IE, more Jack at Halloween or more Odanodan for St. Patrick's Day)?
No but that doesn't mean we can't tell people the forum exists and spread word ourselves. I announced to the guilds I run, and help run, that things were live the moment the forum went live so my group and my friends could take part in this.

Same. I don't own any guilds, but I mass-quoted a bunch of people who frequent my charity game threads in the NSTG to let them know about all of the contests and prizes. Hopefully we'll get a site announcement soon and more people will show up.

Great panel, E-Corp!
I told the KS thread in the GCD and poked the Nyx group letting them know they can put on their Nyx and take part in a lot of contests with it. I really want you guys and every other smaller panel to get some love and support.

I just want this con as a whole to succeed so that Gaia's staff can see how much we love the NPCs and want them them to be featured more, that the manga and the storyline are extremely important and vital elements to the site. :3

As do I because I'd love to try and do this again next year if we get good support.
My Favorite Easter event?
Hmm, well I have my first one 2006 that holds a dear place in my heart, but I honestly don't remember much of it except the baskets XD.
Then there was the one in 2009 with all the TEENIE EGGS EVERYWHERE, and how excited I was that I got those coveted slippers. I remember staying up late senior year of college; click click click click click------
The event I had the most fun with, was the past one 2015, I loved the games and how everyone came together. It felt like the old school attitude, all the happiness that was flowing through everyone.
