Leena I'm so sorry about your rescue kitten.

His name was Bowser and his nickname was Orange Marshmallow because he was so sweet.
The odds were stacked against him since the rescue wasn't called in until it was severe. I could see it last night how weak he was (you can see it in the picture too I think). But he climbed up my legs when I sat down out of nowhere and curled up in my lap. He snuggled into my arms and I held him for as long as possible. He smiled at me and I gave him kisses. I was devastated when I got home to the message he passed as soon as I left the rescue. I shouldn't be. I've been doing animal rescue for years and I know when kittens are not likely to make it. But for some reason I can't help tearing up thinking about this poor little guy. I will miss him and I loved him.

I'm glad you got to spend a little bit of time with him before he passed. He knew love at the end.
