Welcome to the Red Panda Monthly Lotto!

About the Lotto: Here at The Red Panda, we believe that gold lotteries should end on a timely basis, so that the winner(s) can be paid out in a timely manner. Million gold lottos can run for months, if not longer, and sometimes only to be canceled by the owner due to a lack of participation. That's why this lotto will run on a monthly basis, a winner will be chosen on the last day of the month, and will be paid out their winnings in a timely, reliable manner. The amount paid out is determined by how many tickets are bought, so the more people who participate, the larger the payout! So make yourself at home, bump a little, and chat with me if you'd like. See below posts for more information.

About Yume: I'm the lotto owner. I've been a member of Gaia since 2006 and have left and come back to the site several times. I've taken part in million dollar lottos and find them to just drag on and on. In some cases, they get canceled, shut down early (so they only pay out pennies compared to what was promised), hence my inspiration for this. I'm on gaia fairly often throughout the week, but almost never on the weekend. I enjoy biking, kayaking, creative writing, photography, reading, gaming etc. So I try to fill my weekends up with other activities than browsing the internet.

arrow Be respectful towards your fellow gaian. Harassment/abuse/etc towards another person in this thread will automatically disqualify you from participating in current and future drawings and no refund will be available to you if you already purchased tickets.

arrow Please fill out the appropriate forms listed below to enter the dice/tektek/lottery and post it in the thread. Gold trades will not be accepted without a completed form. This is to protect me and you, and provide documentation of entry purchase.

arrow Ticket/tektek/dice sales begin at midnight on the first day of the month, and will close at 11:59PM MST the day before the last day of the month. This means no tickets will be sold the last day of the month, as this is when the winner will be drawn.

arrow Winner will be determined by a random number posted by yours truly. Winner will receive 95% of the jackpot. I will withhold 5% as an administrative fee.

arrow Because I cannot predict how many tickets will be sold, you cannot choose your ticket number. You will be assigned a number based on purchase order.

arrow Once a trade has been completed, a refund will not be issued. Refunds are only issued in the event that the contest is closed for whatever reason.

arrow Instead of doing a pot this month, I'm raffling an item instead! There are no set amount of tickets, and the raffle winner is decided at the end of the month.

arrow The cost of each ticket is 5G

arrow You do not have to buy a ticket to enter any of the other contests.

arrow Winning the previous month's bumping contest earns you 1,000 free tickets for next month's lotto.

arrow I'm now offering a referral bonus. If someone says they have been referred by you when posting their form, I will give you 500 free tickets. The referral only counts for the referee's first purchase (Ie: Someone cannot buy tickets, refer you, and then come back and buy more tickets, and refer you again).

arrow Each month there will be a bump contest. The person with the most amount of bumps will win 15k and 1,000 free tickets for next month's lotto.

arrow There is no fee to enter the bump contest and you do not need to participate in the lotto to enter in the bump contest. Just start numbering away!

arrow The bump contest timeframe is the same as buying tickets. Bumps will only be counted from midnight MST on the first of the month to the day before the last day of the month, 11:59PM MST. This will allow me to total and distribute winnings. Bumps made on the last day of the month will not be counted for either the current month or the next month.

arrow Bumps must be numbered and only one bump may occur in a given post.

arrow When resuming your bumping, please quote the bump you left off on if your last bump was on a different page. This will help me keep track of legitimate bumps.

arrow Intentionally skipping bumps/trying to cheat will result in you forfeiting any and all contests you're involved in. You will not be eligible to win in either contest and you will forfeit any purchase tickets.

arrow Do not use mules to enter the bumping contest multiple times. They may not have their own count. Using a mule to continue a current count is acceptable.
