Good day, Gaians! Cindy Donovinh here, where after a great deal of fierce competition, the Rejected Olympics have finally concluded. Athletes from the four competing towns are filing out and returning home, some with sore legs and arms, and others with bizarre injuries that can't entirely be explained by the events that took place. We've been assured, however, that all athletes will make a full recovery, and the rashes that have been going around should clear up soon.
Though everyone competed with their utmost in strength, agility, and honor, there can only be one winning town. With that, I'm very pleased to report that Aekea has taken the top spot, winning this year's Rejected Olympics! The runners-up, in order, were Barton, Gambino, and Durem. The athletes of Aekea will soon receive their victory item, but no worries: losing teams will also receive a consolation item for being spectacular-- albeit slightly less than Aekea!
The Rejected Olympics Committee wishes to congratulate all who participated, and to thank the athletes and spectators alike for making this year's competition a rousing, though largely incomprehensible success. Until next time, sports fans!
