Every time Durem's innocent Gaians try to sell an outfit the Fashion Inspector shamelessly STEALS it from them!

The lights in Durem Depot flickered. People started flooding out of the Marketplace's closest entrance with angry tears. Cries about lost items in the marketplace that had expired started to surface. Soon the word hit the ears of Ky and Amu. And they. Were. Outraged.

Now, our young heroines begin their quest to track down this Fashion Inspector and regain all of the clothing that he has deprived Ky and Amu and the rest of Gaia the opportunity to purchase. One by one, Ky and Amu will "recover" these items...

And Gaia will be at peace once more!

In Barton, woke a newly renewed young woman named Kymani. Distressed by her present addiction to gambling away her hard-earned gold, Kymani returned to her original account, and made a new home for herself in Gambino, for it's proximity to Sasha and her booming shop. It was on her first day out with her best friend Amu that she realized that there is indeed injustice in Gaia. So she put down her gambling habit and coerced Amu to join her in the battle against the evil Fashion Inspector, and all others who threaten the safety of Gaia's clothing and citizens.

If you're wondering if it's possible to steal a tattoo, the answer, as I learned, is... indirectly, yes. The gist is this: some a-hole stole all the ink from a local tattoo parlor, and now a whoooole bunch of people are losing out on money AND awesome skin-art! I gotta find all that ink before the culprits use it up!

In Aekea lives the ever-efficient money-maker, Amu. With no real focus for her gold other than spoiling herself and her friends, she finds herself always exchanging and loving it for some odd reason. On that fateful day in Durem Depot, Amu was convinced that she now had something worth fighting for; something to make her money-earning talents have a greater purpose. And so she joins Ky in her epic battle against the Fashion Inspector, looking forward to the unknown.

Character Introduction: ???

Recently the police came to me and Amu with a disturbing case. Someone has been stealing from the Marketplace... not news on it's own but... the thievery has been violent. The Police aren't sure if it connects to the inspector or not, but since they've been having trouble getting frightened witnesses to make any sense, it's in our hands now.

We started by talking to the same witnesses the police had spoken to, and already I see the problem. All of these people... talking about the supernatural... I really hope what they're saying isn't true. Because if so...

Well since we can't make any real cases off of what the police believed to be nonsense anyway, we decided to focus on picking out the culprit himself. That way, we could know for sure what we were dealing with and, of course, go back to the police with a solid case. That's only protocol, right? What we found from talking to a few of our witnesses was as follows:

Our man is formally dressed, with growing red eyes and a black fedora. He had dark hair and... a long j...

Are you shitting me? There's just no way. I know I said I should trust my instincts but... I just really think I need a more solid picture of this guy before I can point any fingers. That's why I'm hitting the streets again. I wanna see if anyone can put together all the pieces. I wanna see if I can piece together this ******** face.

Storyline: Unmasking the Marketplace Murderer

God. ********. Damnit.

Sometimes it feels like total bullshit that we do a better job than the police... such as in this case. Maybe it was just because we had more time on our hands, or perhaps it was just the fact that we weren't in uniform, but Amu and I managed to turn up some useful information. So after scouring old leads and sorting out all of the pieces... we put together this image of the culprit.

And the way I just... stared at it, choking on my coffee... I couldn't even hide the fact that I knew this person from my best friend.

I remember the softness in her voice when she said "Ky...?"

And I remember the way I couldn't answer.

There, in the privacy of my best friend's office, I backed away from a picture of my worst memory. One I'd spent nights trying to erode with alcohol, hoping to burn it out of my mind.

When Amu repeated my name it came with a hug. She didn't even know what was wrong yet, but she was patient. She rubbed my shoulders and waited until the shaking stopped and the tears weren't dripping off my chin. Then she finally asked it.

"Ky, who is it?"

I tried to speak but it came out as a forced puff of air. It's okay, Ky, try again. I exhaled and... "It's Jack. It's who I..." No, I couldn't do it. Even to my best friend, I couldn't reveal that I'd fallen for that damnable mobster. "It's the one who tried to kill me."
