Hoho, Fragile is my favorite game so far, it makes me cry. a lot.
It's about a boy who is left alone in the world, and, wanting to know what happened to the other humans, he adventures out of his observatory for the first time in his life.
As for okamiden, it's the sequel for 'Okami', a game that talks about the resurrection of amaterasu, the sun godess ;v; it's really good, too!

Is Fragile Dreams the one for the Wii where you use the Wii-mote as your flashlight? And you like, explore abandoned fairgrounds and such?

Oh, sweet, so Fragile Dreams is out in the US now~? I saw Japanese previews for it and thought it looked really awesome. I lack a Wii, though :<

One game I wanna get that sounded cool is uhhh Radiant Historia, for DS. It's an Atlus JRPG, but apparently you can travel back and forth through time to change the storyline. If they do a good job with it, could be really awesome~

FLATSALE WINNER TIME!

Alright, this was hard. But I suppose flatsales are always painfully hard, because you probably always feel like more than one (or two in this case) people deserve a pet. Well. Here we go!

In the case of the Dove and the Crow, many wonderful entries were received! When I narrowed it down to three I still had to get a second opinion.

My jaw nearly dropped when I realized how much thought and effort had been put in by Anyong Kim and killaminjaro, who not only wrote two endings for their entry but also set it in a rather charming world. The role reversal and very sad ending to Astrometry and Pasuri's entry were perfectly painful, the way a solemn fairy tale should be.

In the end my heart was stolen solidly by Jun D and Maxx D's entry. The characterization here was superb. Having owned doves, I rather felt for their dove character... Mine were somewhat put upon creatures, being vexed by both our intentionally evil cat and unintentionally stupid dog. But even when they got loose one of them still came back every day. Did it miss being vexed, or did it like free food? I have no idea, but I completely believed that dove and I laughed on her behalf at the crow during their final dialogue. If crows could talk, they probably would say things like that crow. Impertinent little bastards. Jun and Maxx, when you know which of you would like which pet please PM me!

The three entries I received for the Rose Bible were all quite emotionally charged! Very fitting, considering the subject. Obviously kotaline, [A.V] and The_Great_Book_Wyrm all gave not only the prompt a lot of thought, but also what sort of person a girl born from roses would be like. [A.V]'s girl was very prickly when grabbed too hastily. Kotaline's girl was literally waiting to transcend her thorns and bloom. Wyrm's had both at once, like a full bush of roses. No matter how you look at it each was definitely a rose. If I could award the same pet three times I would have, because everyone nailed it in their own way. After a great deal of inner debate, the Rose Bible goes to The_Great_Book_Wyrm!

So, with all of that said... congratulations to the winners, and a million thank yous to each and every participant!

The writers themselves can choose to reveal their entries if they wish.

In general shop announcements, we have a lot coming up.

Semi-customs are going to become more readily available starting in April. As nice as it is to not worry about having to draw pets on deadlines, the best pets are always those whose owners have had a hand in creating them. There's also another rather exciting thing on the way, but I can't talk about that quite yet.... But I think both current and prospective owners will be pleased when they hear the news.

Our first mythology month is very soon! Starting March 5th, with cherry blossoms in full bloom, we'll be taking a (pretend) trip to Japan. More on that later...
