Welcome!
This thread holds all you need to know in order to work for TLC Bumping. Refer back here for commonly asked questions and formats. If there is anything here that is not answered, feel free to ask it in the main thread. We are always willing to answer questions.
TLC Bumping is customer-oriented and employee oriented. Our focus is the customer and you. Always strive to provide the best possible service to the customer.
Employee Rules
We have just a few rules, but rules nonetheless.
1. Do not begin bumping in our guild until a moderator has okay'd your application. You should send a join request to the guild, however, when you apply.
2. When you do begin bumping, we expect a minimum of 5 bumps to be completed before you stop a slot. Also, do not log off without posting a stopping post. End on 0's or 5's whenever possible. This keeps everyone's PC even and makes finding errors easier.
3. We do not hire employees and will not keep employees who work at two shops. This is not meant to hinder anyone from applying or anyone working here, but more often than not, an employee cannot work in two bumping services without slacking in one and eventually leaving. We can guarantee there will always be slots that need bumps if you worry that there isn't enough work here and gold to be made.
4. One of the key things that makes TLC Bumping stand out among other services the most is consistent bumping. We strive to bump every single slot at least once a day. If you see a slot that hasn't been bumped in a day or see several slots being bumped over and over again, look to see what slots haven't been bumped. This is EXTREMELY important. Follow this rule above all others.
5. Be aware of what customers want for each slot. Every slot will have requirements that the customers wants. Speed bumping is not allowed unless the thread is falling off the front page at that rate. Otherwise, don't do it. It leaves the customer feeling cheated out of useful bumps and leaves them with a poor experience. Try to follow the rules and personal preferences as closely as you possibly can when bumping. Speed bumping is considered bumping more than once a minute in a forum that is slow moving. Forums such as Services, Art Shops, Art Requests and Mini Shops are generally slow-moving.
