Poids: Cent quatre-vingt quatre livres
Weight: One hundred and Eighty four pounds

la couleur de mes cheveux: Vert, no I mean Saint Patrick's day vert
The color of my hair: Green, no I mean Saint Patrick's day green

Physique:
Tall and slightly gangly, Bernard's slight appearance doesn't dictate his body's actual strength. He would be a wonderful basket ball player if he liked the game. Pianist's fingers, and a healthy weight for his height, his ribs aren't super hidden or super visible. He is decently average save for his excess in height. Not like a brick wall, but definitely sturdy in build. He looks like a scholar.

Style:
Professional in a sense, with a thing for trench coats. Loves yellow neck scarves and dress vests. Black or brown dress pants with matching shoes. The school's dress policy for teachers isn't a big deal for him because he likes to be professional anyway. His preferred outfit is his medium or dark green trench coat, yellow neck scarf, light green double breasted vest, white button up dress shirt, brown or black dress slacks, and loafters to match his pants. If it's too hot, he'll take off the trench coat so that he can take off the vest, then pull the coat back on.

Distinguishing Marks:
Slightly pointed ears, glasses, and some scars from stupid stunts for his films (on his back). Mostly just random scars from accidents while filming.

In depth

Personality:
He is super relaxed, nothing upsets him. He believes in a relaxed working environment, personally finding stress to be unproductive and believing that music is a greater help than distraction. He tries to understand his students, but he isn't a school councilor, just a good person. Creative and full of suggestions for anyone who asks for his help, he doesn't like to give long winded speeches, knowing students tend to zone out when you give them lectures. The only thing that seems to ever get to him is when he isn't teaching but babysitting. He doesn't like to babysit his students, he likes letting them go off and do what they want to do so that he gets a better product so he can give better grades. He tends to be observative enough to read people well, but that doesn't mean he likes to read people only using what he reads when he feels like it's necessary or he has no other means for dealing with a situation. He seems obsessive, having a very neatly organized office and class room, even his studio and room are very well organized, but he tends to collect trivial objects, such as art books and anything involving wolves, felines, or hawks (/ birds of prey). Not so much easily excitable as easily interested, Bernard likes it when students include him in holidays such as valentines day (especially when they give him something to add to his animal collection).

Sexual Preference:
Pansexual or Asexual. He believes everyone should love and that it doesn't matter what gender people are they can still have love, but... He doesn't seem to fall in love with anyone, ever.

Biography:
Born and raised in France, Bernard was raised bilingual. He had a twin, but his brother was still born, and his parents never told him about his sibling. He attended public schools, his American father thinking it best for him to, saying it would help develop his character. In school, Bernard was rather withdrawn, keeping his head down and his nose in a book.User Image Nothing in school caught his interest as a career until he was placed into a digital media class (having claimed he was incapable of participating in sports and that paints aggravated a lung condition). It became his "elective" class. He found he liked computers, getting along well with picture editing software though he isn't very good with a picture camera. When he was given a film project, he did it alone, having a blast with it. That became his career choice, Film. He liked watching movies in class, and was always critiquing video he saw his classmates working on.

After graduating high school, he went to a collage of arts to learn more about cinematography. He excelled in film, being a decent director, his favorite class where he wasn't holding a camera was Screen Writing And Acting, where he set things up for when he would hold the camera. Though he did so well in school, he couldn't find a job as a director or in the industry at all. As a last ditch effort to continue using film as he career, he got himself teaching credentials. He was hired as the next digital media teacher in his old high school, the old one having retired several years ago so the class was dropped. Bernard wasn't happy with his class, having not specialized in everything he was supposed to now teach.

After two years of teaching, Bernard was handed a pink slip. Not understanding why (as their budget hadn't been cut) he asked the school principal why he was being fired. The principal tired to make light of what Bernard saw as a very serious situation, aggravating him slightly. After several minutes of the Principal avoiding an answer, Bernard finally threatened to sue for wrongful firing. With such a threat, he received the truth about his firing. Other teachers found his class room setting inappropriate for a good learning environment, and too many students were failing his class, because he wasn't "giving them any assignments". At that, Bernard lost it, finally voicing why he'd hated his job in the first place; he wasn't being paid to teach, he was being paid to babysit! He refused to babysit students in place of teaching them.

Accepting his pink slip and packing his bags, Bernard intended to move away. Though he hadn't liked his job... He didn't like not being able to do anything... Had he not been offered a position at Emerald Hills Academy, he would have killed himself, not coping well with the stress of trying to get a new job. Leaping at the chance to again work, Bernard accepted the position, not caring what types of bells and whistles the job came with! He'd be teaching the subject he was best at, and he got to do what he loved in the studio he was provided. Right away, he moved to England and into his room. He set up his classroom the way he wanted it to be set up, having decorated rather elaborately.
