Please read main thread's news for major notification.

The swan flatsale has been changed from speed to normal and the fs and auction will end this Friday, the auction an hour and a half after the flatsale so I can post the winner of the fs before the auction ends giving anyone who didn't get the swan a chance to bid.

For the Birds ... a Songbird Flatsale

Welcome to SongBird’s second flatsale and first speed sale! There will be two eggs sold in this sale each at different times. At their sale time, a prompt for them will be posted and you are to answer it as quickly as possible since you will only get 30 minutes to post it. Once the time is up the winner will be decided and then they must send the trade. An auction for a semi-custom will also be running throughout the event.

Rules


General Rules...
    - Follow Gaia’s ToS.
    - Be respectful. We do not want flaming or disrespect towards anyone.
    - Do not steal the artwork.
    - Use English in the thread. None of that n00b talk.
    - Sorry, no refunds.
    - You may own up to two Songbirds but your first must be at least an Adolescent and active.
    - Roleplay is required for growth and ownership. If you are inactive for a few weeks we’ll PM you asking what's up. You will have a month to sort things out and a few warnings before your child is taken away.
    - Warn us if you’re going to be away or on a hiatus.
    - I reserve the right to and or change rules if necessary.

Flatsale Rules...
    - Flatsale Songbirds cost 25k pure.
    - Regular flatsales are RP prompt.
    - Your prompt must be written completely by you.
    - One entry per person so you can only try for one Songbird.
    - There is no word limit.

Specific Sale Rules...
    - Prompts will be given at the time of the sale.
    - Any entries received after 30 minutes do not count.
    - Post entries in this thread.
    - A form will be given for you to write your response on.

Two bird themed Songbird eggs have been found and are up for grabs.
The first is a penguin themed male and the second a swan themed female.

The boy will be sold on Sunday July 5th @ 10pm EST.

Due to problems, the swan will no longer be a speed writing sale but a regular flatsale.

Start Time: Now (July 14th)
End Time: Friday July 17th @ 12noon EST

The Prompt
Swans are graceful and elegant as well as a symbol for love and romance so says society. What do you think about it? Are you graceful and elegant or a symbol of romance, whatever that means. Tell a story going over these things. (from the POV of the child)

Good questions but it'd be awesome if you could make it. Like the other Songbirds the penguin has a set of wings on its back but I haven't thought about it. It would be neat if we had a flightless songbird. I'll probably leave this option up to the owner.

Yeah, fotunately, I don't have youth group that Sunday! 8D Now I just have to make sure no one is using the computer at that time...hmmm...I think if I win I'd make the songbird be flightless, but be able to swim or something... xP I can just imagine him as a hatchling, all penquin chubby and stuff. xP
