Littma stopped and looked at the girl, if he had the power of time how could that save the world? And from what? The worst thing he could do is humor her a little. “Fine but you have to tell me about yourself.” Leyexeris was smiling as he said that. “And you must tell me of history so that I may catch up with the times.”

That’s… odd. It fits in with the whole ‘oh I’m so much older than you and half your height’ thing she has going. Was she telling the truth? Seriously telling the truth? I suppose I’ll never know. “Fine but we have to get to the next village before the wolves start sniffing for dinner and I really really need some new threads.” And after saying that her smile went from an innocent happy one to something… creepy and scary and it felt like his stomach fell to his feet.

Leyexeris whistled in a high pitch and Snow charged forward scoping her up as she quickly got comfortable on her familiar and before they passed the boy, she grabbed his left arm as they flew fast ahead and barely managed to swing him on Snow behind her. He was heavier than she thought, good thing he did not fall for at this speed that would have been fairly painful.

“Are you alright?” She turned her head just enough to see him out of the corner of her eye. He was shocked and or surprised. He was most likely under the impression she could not treat him like a ragdoll so easily. Good, now it is best he be on his toes. “I’m fine, no thanks to you. You’re going too fast you’ll pass the village at this speed.”

“I beg to differ, boy.” She noticed he gave her a very irritated look before she turned her head straight again. Snow continued to charge ahead on foot, there was no reason to take flight at such a short distance and then in a blur they saw a stray building in their path and Snow dug his talons into the ground, he was straining not to screech, she could feel it as she held his neck, petting him. She looked up and it was too late. They were going to be crashed

Laying on his stomach on the rear end of the bird… thing, Littma noticed the village and the thing crashed head on into the rear wall of a building launching him forward to contact what was left of a wall. It sent a shock of pain down his body but he would manage. It took a few moments to shake off the shock.

The building still stood and didn’t take much damage, just a large bird head sized hole. He still had his satchel which was still in one piece. Littma picked it up from the ground and swung the strap over his shoulder as he normally has.

Looking around it seemed the village was untouched by the attacker of his home, then with a moment of pause he realized what home they ran into and ran inside.

Time Lord's Book p.2 Section I

The woman went around her decaying chambers, filtering through her belongings. Tossing books behind her as if she were mad. Her pet griffin lay in the opposing corner, head resting on his front limbs, resting as well as avoiding the flying debris. The woman yelled in frustration before whirling around to face her familiar. "Snow, where did I leave the map?" Snow picked his head up and tilted it towards a desk cluttered in books and scrolls. "Thank you." She casually walked over to the desk, covered in dirt and dust, tarnished from neglect. "He could have at least kept up with his things better before he left."

The woman held out her right hand over the desk and a blue aura emitted from her fingertips. The desk had glowing symbols invisibly carved into its frame and a slight breeze brushed her gray hair over her shoulders as books moved magically aside and a hidden compartment was revealed beneath the dust. "Not so cleaver." The aura ceased as the woman bent over to open the compartment to find it empty.

"What trickery is this?!" The woman felt the empty cabinet in horror until her hand brushed something etched into the side. She held her palm flat and the aura emitted again but the desk showed no response. She walked to the side to get a better view of what she felt and it was a symbol she didn't recognize. She tried to lean forward but books were in the way, she used her free hand to knock them to the side on the floor when one fell open to expose the same symbol. The woman looked at it in confusion as it was a book of strange symbols and creatures drawn in a disfigured way. "....Ell? What could that be?"

Time Lord's Book p.3 Section I

The image of a creature was a beautiful golden color with a large mane. "Ell...ey...ohn?" As the she spoke the desk made an audible click noise. The woman glanced back to see the symbol had vanished and a second compartment was now visible. She reached inside and there was a small scroll. She quickly removed it and shut the cabinet closed and unrolled the scroll across the desk to find a letter.

        My dear sweet Lexi,
I know that you will find this when the time is right for I have surely disappeared and our gifts are needed.
Though I'm not around I wish you luck if you choose to do what is right over simply gaining power. I trust
you to make the right choice.
        Love,
        Master Reyes

The woman crumpled the letter and tossed it to the side. Snow glanced at the paper with what could have been a look of concern. The woman's focus was on the scroll itself, the detail was faded away for the most part but some writing and markings were still clear. A map. The woman rolled the scroll back and began walking down the stairwell to lead outside. "Come Snow, we must be on our way now."

Time Lord's Book p.4 Section I

The scroll was firmly gripped in her left hand as she scaled down the steeps to the door, or what was left of it that led outside. Snow followed the woman closely behind despite he was a tight fit now in the ruined building than when he arrived here the first time several centuries before. The outside air was chilly and the sky, dark with what would look like a coming storm. That is, until the hot ash began to fall towards the cold earth.

The woman looked briefly at the scroll map in hand and her eyes grew wide with worry. She turned to face Snow and without a word exchanged the griffin was airborne heading towards the flames lapping the sky with debris and heat. The only salvation of the scorching flames was the chill of the high breeze as the two speed forward.

Time Lord's Book p.5 Section I

Littma was starring up at his bedroom ceiling when a strange smell drifted into his nose. He sat up in his bed and ran his fingers through his dark hair and walked towards the hall, taking note that his senial mother was napping in her rocking chair as she often did. He noticed that the potbelly had gone cold but why on earth was it so hot? And then he realized the screams and cries emitting from outside his home.

He ran past his sleeping mother to the front door and swung it open with enough force that it smashed into the wall. He stared out in utter disbelief as people ran screaming as short bursts of fire chased them, catching most in its path.

Littma could also hear the heavy gusts of wind from something but couldn't tell what was causing it without stepping outside. He could not use a shadow seeing how there was no light overhead other than the flames that scorched the ground and surrounding homes. He wanted to do something anything to help but all he seemed to do was stare at the scene in front of him with awe, and then the roof was aflame.

O.G. Elder

Time Lord's Book p.6 Section I

In a state of panic, Littma rushed back to room and grabbed a satchel, flinging it over his shoulder and rushed back to help his mother and froze in the doorway. His mother was standing before him looking completely well despite her age and sickness and the collapsing roof. She held out arms and embraced him like she used to when he was a child, a long and loving hug.

When some of the support beams of the walls began to threaten to collapse was when she released him and in her hands was a book, he didn't see it in her hands before it just... appeared. She placed the book in his hands. He looked at it to his mother then to the walls and shoved the book in his bag and tried to force his mother through the front door but she wouldn't budge. She just looked at him and smiled as the roof finally gave way and Littma couldn't see anymore as the world turned black.

Time Lord's Book p.7 Section I

The woman and Snow speed on forward but only to see that the village was in ruin. She cursed under her breath and steered her griffin in startling drop towards the earth only to leap off moments before impact as Snow righted himself so that he wouldn't crash. The woman gracefully landed on the earth as if she drifted like a feather with an eerie blue glow about her form.

On the moment she landed she immediately started searching homes for what she was looking for. She darted from one burned pile of ash and coals to the next, only to be disappointed. She was about to give up hope when she began heading towards the woods until her right wrist stayed in place as she moved forward which in end result, jerked the rest of her body backwards leaving her on the ground starring skyward as Snow looked down her to see if she was alright.

Time Lord's Book p.8 Section I

The woman did nothing for a moment but eventually emitted a delayed 'ow' before sitting upright. She realized that she did not simply fall backwards but skidded a few feet as well. She glanced around her and noticed from ground view how truly devastating the situation was. What she was looking for was most likely lost now, whether in fire or stolen in a raid of sorts.

She stood on her feet and tried to dust the ash off her clothes. She took the scene in looking for clues to see if it were a raid as well as arson and found no such sign. Unless of course the raiders all came by foot and their prints were mixed with the villagers but that was a rather stupid thought. Then out of the corner of her eye she say movement under the ruble. She rushed over to help the possible survivor to find a child burned beyond recognition who on their left wrist had an identical bracelet as she.

Time Lord's Book p.9 Section I

Littma slowly began to feel again but all he could feel was utter and complete pain all over his body. His torso was spared because he feel face first onto the satchel, was the book and his things unscathed? Did it matter? How could it when life at this very moment was nothing but complete and sheer pain and misery.

The burned support beams were atop of him, making it hard to move out from under them. He felt so weak and couldn't focus. His flesh stung and burned... burned! How could he continue on with burns? He couldn't even see still! Was he blind? What would he do?! And then he felt a gentle tug on his arm.

O.G. Elder

Time Lord's Book p.10 Section I

The gentle hands pulled him gradually from under the support beams and every inch he moved was complete agony. He was eventually laid onto soft dirt and turned over so that he was no longer face first in the dirt. The hands left him to remove the satchel from his arm. His savior said nothing but by the care and delicate feel of the hands he could goes it was a woman who was helping him.

Her hands touched his face and as he winced he didn't feel the sting anymore, his nerves had probably had their last straw. After a few minutes he felt her touch his burns, probably putting medicine of some sort on them because he couldn't feel anything anymore. She laid her hand on his face again, pulling his eye lids shut, which in his mind proved he was now blind and with the knowledge his heart sunk in his chest.

A few minutes later she opened his lids again and there was a blinding light, but how could that be? After a few minutes things began to focus into shapes then into detail. The woman above him had a young face but hair as gray as his mothers despite the amber reflection of coals. Littma tried to speak but the woman put a finger on his lips and placed her right hand on his chest.

Time Lord's Book p.11 Section I

The woman pressed her hand onto what seemed to be a boy's chest and blue aura emitted once again from her right hand and then she eased her weight so the boy could breath but instead he coughed up black tar all over his now healed hands and stared in disgust at the tar to awe at her.

He seemed to try to speak but began coughing again. The woman brushed the ash from his hair to reveal it was a beautiful dark brown to possibly a raven color. His brows were thick as well as his long lashes. His face was covered in soot and ash; his clothes ruined from the flames. The woman removed her cloak and draped it across the boys back so that he wouldn't be chilled by the wind when the coals would finally die.

She left the boy sitting, coughing his lungs up as she looked through the debris he emerged from, hoping to find what she came for but no luck. The keeper was gone, for surely it wasn't the boy? "My name is Littma, what is yours?" The woman whirled around to face the boy who seemed to speak now but turned around to search the area around the pile of debris she was on. "You saved my life, surely you could at least tell me your name so I can thank you properly." She could hear his footsteps as he followed her around. Before she would tolerate long enough to get annoyed by him she answered simply,
      "Leyexeris."

Time Lord's Book p.12 Section I

"Leyexeris? That sounds kinda Egyptian or Greek. Nah more Greek. Sorry I'm about to babble. Why did you rescue me?" Littma asked as he followed the woman around what was left of where he lived. Where will I live now? And is mother alright? His face turned grim at the thought. "I only rescued you for the bracelet you bare on your left wrist."

That caught his attention, peeling it away from his thoughts of grief. He raised his left arm and glanced at the bracelet. "This? This has been in my family for a while. What does this piece of junk matter to you?" Leyexeris sent him a glare as some freaky bird... thing came trotting up to her, nudging her for attention. She turned back to face the creature before she replied. "Because you are the key to leading me to what I want."

Littma starred blankly forward before he could reply, "Oh-kay... and what is it that you want that of all people you need me for? All I knew was just burned to the ground so whatever you want from me is now gone lady." At the last word she gave him a really mean look, now it was meaner than mean but to say what it looked like would break his promise to his mother of never using foul language.

"Trust me." Was all she said. Great, that was loads of help. The coals around them were dieing due to the wind that gusted from the woods. Littma pulled the woman's cloak around him to keep him warm. What the hell am I going to do now for goodness sake. I can't even begin to count the freaking number of holes in his clothes, I'm surprised I still have any. "You didn't really answer my question, why does my bracelet matter to you? It's just a bracelet, it isn't going to help you in any way to look for what you want."

"Yes it will." She really wasn't helpful. Heck, she didn't even look like she was from this planet for the matter. The clothes she wore barely covered her besides her knee-high socks... or four? She wore glovelettes that went to almost her shoulders. I don't know what to call her shirt, if that's even what is was. It looked nothing more than straps cover just enough of her upper body to not... expose anything. And short shorts, how on earth was she not cold? Even her cloak was barely a cloak, it had sleeves to it but they hung by threads. Who was she, this Leyexeris?

More importantly, where was he going to sleep? Who knows what time of day it was, if it were night he couldn't stay here because of the wolves in the woods. Crud. He had to ask, and worst of all to a stranger that he was indebted to now. "Do you by chance so happen to have somewhere I can stay until I can get back onto my feet?"

Time Lord's Book p.14 Section II
        Leyexeris ReyesUser Image
Leyexeris gave the boy a confused look, but she couldn't blame him. She was standing on what was left of his home and whatever things he had. "You are on your feet and no I don't have anywhere that you can stay, I believe the term is rogue?" The boy began laughing at her, or at what she said. It did not matter. "What is so funny?" The boy tried to regain composure and completely failed to do so. "I believe you are a bit behind the times, you couldn't be a rogue, you are far too kind."

"You would be very surprised child." The boy, Littma was it? Looked at her strangely as he often has been since he stopped coughing. "Child? I think I'm a lot older than you. You can't be but a few years older than a teenager. I've been an adult and taking care of my mother for five years now." She thought he would rant on but his face turned pale as he mentioned his mother, who was most likely under her feet at the moment but she didn't dare to check.

"No, I believe I know myself much more than you do. I'm most likely older than your great grandfather by far seeing how that bracelet seems to have been passed down your family instead of the original owner taking it to their grave." Now he looked really puzzled. She couldn't help but smile.

Alright, this chick had to be insane or something. She found some way to turn her hair that grayish white color, maybe it was a bunch of horse hair? Whatever it was it wasn't her natural color and this chick was nuts. "Yep, it was passed down through my family as some old tradition that I can't even remember. So that means our families totally knew each other hundreds of years ago and out of the blue here you are to save my life because of some bracelet on my wrist that I can't take off anymore. Yep. So instead of helping you find whatever your looking for I'm off."

Littma took off her cloak and dropped it into the ash, grabbed his satchel and swung it over his shoulder and started walking away on the edge of the woods. There was no way he was staying at some crazy girls place, especially by the fact she was a younger girl and well she was crazy. She might kill him in his sleep or something. Hopefully the neighboring village wasn't burned to the ground too and he could get a change of clothes there. If not it was going to be a freaking cold night.

"Surely you don't want me to tell you about your bracelet now do you?" And then it was the crazy lady again. She must have been a freaking ninja or something, he didn't hear her come up behind him and then he looked to the side of him and figured out why. She was on the bird thing and the wind masked the sound of it flying. Yea he wanted to know but this was all too much at once. He needed to find somewhere to stay.

Illiana smiled to herself as she looked through her mind's eye at the scene before her. Everything was beginning to come together. Her pawn came out of hiding at long last, if only she could hear what she had to say after hiding away for all these years and jumping into this new world. How must it feel to be so alienated in every way? Even the fellow she is following doesn't want to deal with her and oh how obvious it was.

Perfect, in every way. "Lovely how my pet's pet causes so much wonderful things to happen." She said as she stroked a mans head as he sat on the floor beside her. The man looked up at her and smiled. Illiana's response was a firm slap to the face. "Don't look at me unless I tell you too! ...Perhaps now is the time to finally act? No. Not now. But soon."

Leyexeris froze for a moment, it felt like someone ran a piece of ice down her spine. She shook it off, it was probably from the fact she just draped her cloak over Snow and took off. She'd put it on when the boy ran out of energy and had to stop. Hopefully it was soon.

"Did you know that you are actually correct about our families being entwined? But of course for mine its not much compared to what yours must be since it has been quite a few generations." The boy just seemed to keep trying to ignore her. He seemed to being a good job of it too. She had to convince him he was able to help her, no... that he needed to help her.

"What if I told you that you can't take it off because it is magically bound to you?" He didn't bother to stop to speak. "Yea, sure. It has nothing to do with the fact that my wrist is rather large now compared to the bracelet. It has nothing to do with magic." She had Snow cut in front of him and all around them stood still. "Yes it does."

Time Lord's Book p.18 Section II
        Littma PaynUser Image
Littma froze still as the find suddenly stopped and the trees didn't continue to sway. Ok, crazy lady was rubbing her craziness on him or he was hallucinating from fire fumes and how has he not dead? Where did his burns go? There was no way he could have came out of that fire without any burns on his skin, yet there were none. Every step should be completely painful, but it wasn't. None of this made any sense.

"Alright, and what if I believe this bracelet is magical and all oh powerful? What does that have to deal with you and what you are looking for? And why won't you tell me what it is? Why the heck does it matter anyway. Thank you for saving my life and all but this is more than I can take." He walked around the girl and her bird and kept heading towards the next village. Just focus on one thing at a time. Even if time seems to have stopped.

        Leyexeris ReyesUser Image
Leyexeris slowly got off Snow. How could she convince him when he wouldn't even listen to her? He did hear what she said but he simply did not listen. Granted yes his family most likely just died with everything he had but that is just life. She could try forcing him to help her but that was a lot effort and energy when she can just wait it out. He would eventually see things as they really were.

"What if I were to teach you how to use the magic? It could benefit you, help you. Help me help you which will eventually help me in turn." Perhaps she had said that wrong? But it was very true. He was all she had left. "Sure, whatever. Now can you leave me be? Unless of course you could maybe fix my home too and bring my mom back." Actually she could but that didn't make it right. Especially when there was no way to truly avoid death after you have already died. "No but I'm sure I could help you passed this tragedy of yours."

The boy looked at her for a moment before looking forward again. he walked at a very fast pace making it hard to keep in step with him, his height over her didn't help either. Did she really look so young? And then it hit her. "What if you could save thousands of others from the fate you almost had? What if you could save this world with the gift on your wrist. Would that be too much to ask in exchange of some time with me and a few lessons?"
