1. Da Basics Follow Gaia's TOS. Duh.

2. Moar Basics No begging, no bumping, and no advertising other threads.

3. Gifting If you want to send and receive gifts, you probably should keep a count of how many you send/receive. You should also post a link to your quest thread (so people know what you might like as a gift). It also helps to have some items in the wishlist in your profile.

4. Politeness If you receive a gift or a donation, please post a thank you at least in the thread. example: "Thanks for the Fai Coat, Anonymous Benefactor!"

5. Post Styles No big post styles. If your post takes up all or most of a screen because of the style, it is too big.

6. Drama There is a NO DRAMA tolerance policy here. Your drama destroys the fun.

7. Gift Wars You may have gift wars, but please do not post the details of them in this thread. (Do not post screenies of the trades, and don't tell what's been traded.) You are allowed to ask if anyone is interested in a Gift War. example: "Anyone want to have a gift war with me? PM for details!"

8. Screenshots of Gifts If someone gave you a rather amazing gift, then please post a screenshot to Ryu. We might be using them later for contests, and the generous person might become a Regular if he/she meets the other conditions. C:

I started this thread because I want another place to hang out (my quest thread just doesn't get many visitors), and to help people out. Also, I was very stressed out from my classes. xD ! Though I am far from being the richest on Gaia, I still think I can help people out.

I hate it when people beg. It's annoying. I also hate having to apply and all that for donations. You never know when the other person is sincere, and as such we have no applications here. You will mainly see various contests, because I think if you TRULY want the gold, then you would be willing to work for it. C:

Being a Regular: Benefits and Responsibilities

Benefits:
You get your birthday posted on the Birthday Calendar! (Post 11)
You are much more likely to win the Good Samawitan Prize! (Post 6)
When we have contests like TekTek and Scavenger Hunt, you don't have to pay the entry fee!
You don't have to post how many gifts you have given/received. C:

Responsibilities:
You have to help new people out, since you are experienced with the thread. C:
If you think someone has broken a rule and Ryu has not noticed, you have to notify Ryu by PM.
Don't do something to get yourself off the Regular list. D:<

Gewd Samawitan

Every month, Ryu will chose a user who she thinks have been contributing to this thread the most. The user will be a regular, and the Gewd Samawitan will be announced on the last day of every month.

Ryu looks at:
How often you post.
How much you donated.
How helpful you were to first timers.
How well you uphold the rules of the thread
Whether or not you politely inform others when they are breaking a rule.

The winner will get something special from me.

Capture the Eevee Evolutions

PRIZE: 20k
First to capture all 7 Eevee Evolutions wins.

This contest will be similar to the "first to quote this post gets __k", except there's a little twist: You have to capture all 7 Eevee evolutions to get the prize. How do you do that? Be the first to quote the post and say "I've caught ___(species)___!" and you've captured it. Note, you can't capture an evolution more than once, but strategically it is a good idea to quote the post anyway even if you have already captured that Pokemon so it'll slow down others' chances to capture them all.

New Thread Layout Tiiiimeee

Well this thread needs a new layout. Find me someone who makes nice sets of thread graphics for a decent price, and is really super-amazing it. Since Big Dweamers is a cutesy thread, I want someone who can do cutesy.

Great Art Hunt

I made a Art Request thread but it's not getting much traffic! (It might have something to do with the fact that most of the avatars are cluttered. xP)

I like all types of avvie art, but I only want to buy amazing stuff.
I'm really only looking to pay 50k or less per piece, since I'm quite cheap when it comes to art. xD

If I buy art from someone you referred to the thread, you get 5k
This can be done multiple times.

The best way to do this I think is to look for really good artists who are willing to do cluttered avatars and have them post in my art request thread.

If they end up not posting in my thread and you still think I would probably like to order from them, PM me the link to their shop, and if I buy from them you get 5k.

20 Questions

We're playing the game 20 Questions as described on Wikipedia.
Your questions have to be yes or no. If the answer to the question is sometimes, then I will say Yes. Instead of asking a question you can guess, but in our version your guess will be counted as a question. So basically you have 20 Questions/Guesses.
To ask your questions, please PM it to me. I will then reply the answer, and you can ask another question or guess. I will be keeping track of your current number of question/guesses and your final number (when you get it correct).

The guessing will be conducted solely through PM. You CAN NOT give others any information about the game (like what question you asked, what was the reply, etc.), because each person has to guess the same word (so we know there is no difference in difficulty). Anyone who is discovered giving information before the contest is over will most likely be black-listed from this thread.

This game is simple. This avatar I made is quite cluttered (and ugly). Apparently I have 43 items on.
PM which items you think I have. You can only PM me your answers once.
The person who gets the most items correct will win the prize.
Partial credit will be given. (ex: You see I have a pair of shoes from x set but you don't get the colour right.)

HINT: As with all cluttered avatar contests, start with the easy parts then go on to the hard parts. :3 In this case the top part of the avatar (neck to head) is super cluttered. The belt area is also relatively cluttered.

Ryu is looking for active Gaians with some artistic ability to be official thread artists.

Job Description:
Thread artists will make and give out original art, whether it be by bump/page/dice roll/random number contests, completely randomly, or through an art auction to benefit/supply the charity/gift giving/contests.

Artistic Abilities:
Any of the following types of art are acceptable.
Traditional Avatar Art: Sketch / Lineart / Color
Digital Avatar Art: Sketch / Lineart / Color (CG)
Banners / Userbars / Sigmaps / Signature Wishlists
Pixel Art: Food / Name / Avatar
Breedable/Changeable Pets

Requirements:
User must be active on Gaia, meaning logging on practically every day.
User must be willing to make art at little or no cost. This is a charity and gift thread, after all.

"Pay":
None, but you might get tips and gifts from other users.
