Hey, Guild Owners, Captains and Co-Captains (and anyone interested in Guilds)!
We've been working hard on some long-term improvements to Guilds, including overhauling the search function. In order to make these improvements really shine, we need your help! If you check your Guild Admin Panel, there are a couple new fields we need your help filling out. Here's what's new in the panel :
• Tags: Enter up to 5 search tags describing your guild and the topics it covers. This will help with both searching and, in the near future, enable us to match and recommend your guild to users with similar interests. You should enter 1 tag per field, and note that whatever you put in will be exactly what is matched in search. Each tag entry should be between 4-40 characters.
• Guild Description: Here you can enter a short description of your guild that sums it all up in one sentence, like "Gaia's oldest dog training discussion guild" or "Your place for all things Harry Potter." This will help with both searching and, in the near future, enable us to match and recommend your guild to users with similar interests. There is a 140 character limit for your summary.
• Guild Name: Because a lot of guild names are ridiculously long, we reduced the character limit to 50. Guild names need to be shortened before April 6, or they'll get truncated automatically. Sorry, but this was necessary for some of the forthcoming improvements. NOTE: most guilds will not be affected as your guild name falls within the limit. Tip: If your guild name is longer than 60 characters, use the summary to provide more details - the summary (as well as tags) is a free bonus to help you promote your guild!

UPDATE: the disappearing clans issue has been resolved. If you don't see your clans, give it a little time and they will re-appear. You have not been "lost" from your clans.
