I'm increasingly worried about users (like myself) who have a period in their username.
It's hard to communicate with users on towns due to the lack of a speech bubble, and recently I learned the hard way that users with periods in their names do not get granted prizemoney nor winning notification in the avatar arena when they place...

Is there any hope for us? Will the battle system cause further issues for us? I'm rather attatched to the little dot in my name, I dislike the idea of losing it a great deal... .__.

Actually, it has everything to do with Gaia--it's in the forum's name: Gaia Community Discussion. This is the place everyone goes to to talk about what's going on between us, the NPCs, and what the admins and devs are doing that affects us users. Thus, it's the perfect place to put the poll!
A weekly poll about WHO WERE GOING TO VOTE FOR or RECESSION has NOTHING to do with gaia. it has to do with the REAL WORLD which is why it'd be PERFECT for the GENERAL DISCUSSION! because they discuss REAL WORLD THINGS


Granted, but it's one of the big things on the minds of the Gaian Community, none the less. Personally, I'm glad they're actually coming up with such polls. It shows that they think about these sorts of things, too, and they want a feel as to how we, the community, think and/or feel about the subjects IRL.

Hello Lanzer and all other Gaians here today. I have come to discuss the grave issue of those who were wrongfully blocked from their accounts on Monday March 10 2008, do to a glitch we're shore. Below you will see a list of only a portion of those unfortunates. I am here to get the answers we desperately need. It is understood that it will take time to sort through all of the accounts to verify our innocence, but why no explanation, no public “Hey guys we are working on it! Everything will be worked out soon!” Not so much as a peep from the higher ups to tell us anything. The majority of us have put hundreds of dollars (yes real money) into our accounts. Not to mention the thousands of hours we put into Gaia. We have all in a sense lost our identity. Our Avatars are the people we are in Gaia and they have been taken from us.

We want to know:
1.) What is being done to resolve this?
2.) When will we get some form of notification that we have been heard?
3.) And most importantly, when can we expect to get our accounts back?

While I'm not an admin, I have been scammed out of an item before and I can say that Yes, if there's evidence that the item was taken from you, you will, eventually, get it back.

I'm surprised no one else has answered this.

And PEOPLE: I think Lanzer is answering the questions in order of when they're asked. sweatdrop Might be wrong but that's how it looks.
