Yup. I just take the boat from Auberdine. (Discovered it by accident one day when someone from Horde killed all the NPCs so I couldn't get back to Darnassus by Hippogriff.)

I had that happen like 3 times in one day where I had to wait for the flight master to respawn or run to the next town since these Alliance were practically following the roads and attacking every town.

In this case the Horde member (there was only one) killed practically all the NPCs, and then there were some people there trying to kill them, but they couldn't. Not even the two level 80s that were there. It was hilarious. rofl
