Outfit: She prefers bulky, comfortable clothing that is still stylish. The bulk is to hide her figure, which she's not too fond of. She also has her ears pierced in multiple places. She wears one of her own feathers in each ear. All of her earrings are pure gold.

Hair Color and Style: Orangey Red hair, green at the roots. At the moment, it's shaved at her left and grown out on the right, swept over her face.

Powers: Long life and rebirth are her primary gifts. Her current form is 487 years old, but she's been around for thousands of years. She can also turn into a Phoenix (the literal bird) at will. Fire is her element, and she can conjure and control it effortlessly, in addition to utilizing it as a way to create portals, through which she can travel across the planet. Her eyesight and hearing are excellent, but her sense of smell is rather underdeveloped. She is exceptionally skilled in martial arts, having trained for most of her lives. But she trains so she can defend herself because she's just as vulnerable as a human to physical blows...but first you have to hit her.
Personality: Elizabeth is calm and mostly happy. She has lost quite a few whom she's loved, as would be expected, having such a lifespan. She tries not to dwell, but sometimes it hits her and she goes through depressed spells. During those times, she'll avoid people and deal with it herself. She knows best and has learned how to handle herself over the years. Overall, she likes people and gets along with them, but when she's depressed, she knows it's better for her to handle it alone.
She's older than her current age would suggest, and she's seen a lot in her lives. She's only a little over a fifth of the way through her current lifespan, but she keeps the knowledge of her predecessors who are all "her" but also "not." Being, however, essentially in her twenties, she still cuts up and lets loose. She likes to have fun. She's a little vain, a trait of most in her race. But for the most part, she "stays classy," as she puts it. She was raised in royalty, but that hasn't affected her as much as one might think, since she's also lived a great deal in poverty.
Elizabeth has a firm no fighting policy. It's her philosophy that it wouldn't be fair, since she will be reborn, but others are not so fortunate. Most of the time, of course, she has no reason to fight and is content, should violence arise, to portal away from danger. But a few exceptions have arisen over the years. She doesn't get attached to people easily, since it's painful, but she is friendly, and she's had several close friends in her time. A few of them have gotten into trouble, and she has stepped in with a fast portal to evacuate each and every one, but a few required her to defend herself and a friend for awhile until she could get time to portal away.
Her primary interest in life is to watch history unfold. She is fascinated by all things historical. Her hobbies are many and varied, spanning time. She particularly enjoys dancing (especially Swing and Victorian era styles), painting (portraiture), poker (which she's horrible at), flower arranging, using cavemen methods to build tools, and architecture. She's worked as an architect several times in this life, and she's done construction in every life she's lead.
Background: Each time she is reborn, she is a different person, though still herself. She keeps her memories and knowledge, but her entire physical being changes, and the process itself changes her marginally each time. In some of her past lives, for instance, she was much more hotheaded. In others, she was more curious than she is now. For her most recent lives, she has basically settled into herself and the routine of her lives, very calm and unflappable. Once she reaches "old age," she will slow down, settle in an area, move in with a family who agrees to raise her, knowing what she is. One night in her sleep, she will turn to ash, molecule by molecule. And come morning, a small baby will have re-formed in her place, having all her memories, but with the disposition of a baby. She grows and ages over the course of her lifespan. However, should she be killed, the process can occur sooner and much more violently. She was killed more often, however, in her earlier lives, when ancient people were scared of her and would murder her while she was still a small child. At the start of this life, she was found by a royal family in England during the middle ages who took her in and raised her in privilege and wealth for many years. Most people, however, did not know who she was. She likes her privacy these days, during the growth process. While her "parents" knew what she was, it was still disconcerting for them to raise a child who acted like a child, but had the knowledge of many adult lives. She reached physical maturity under the care of her first parents' children's children's children. After that, she set off on her own and has been roaming the world ever since, partaking in the same activities she's always enjoyed. Sometimes she lives in poverty, sometimes in plenty, but she adjusts quickly to all new situations.
The one thing she never handles with grace, however, is being "hit on." It makes her uncomfortable and she has a tendency to distance herself from those who do. In one of her earlier lives, she met the one and only love of her life, a human, named Joshua. Since then, she keeps men at a distance. She never intended to fall for Joshua, and she's insistent she won't make that mistake again, putting extra effort into avoiding their advances.
