                      I like experimenting with a more not-so-classic Gaia style; the silhouette, item style, color choice, and subject all feels very retro to me (a late gen-zer who joined in 2015).

                      Make an avi using the color sunlit lavender and the scheme honey lavender.

                      I like the silhouette and subject of this one, but I'm still trying to figure out if mixing sunlit lavender/honey lavender peony worked with the more classic "scheme" peony (with the cream and the muted pinky-red-purpley color). If you know anything about this scheme please reply to this entry or send me a PM thank you.

It took me several days to get this one to a point where I felt it was complete, but I think it worked out. From here, I 'd like to experiment with heather and skyward at some point (when I own more than just one item in the skyward scheme sweatdrop ).

                      Create a heather and skyward avi.

                      ✴︎ Opinion
                      Due to my lack of skyward scheme items, I ended up incorporating polar into the outfit after realizing/remembering that the sky color in the skyward scheme is also present in the winterstorm scheme. I find this heather-winterstorm pair to be the other side of the pearlescent-borealis pair I've experimented with in Pearl of the Scene and Pale Star.

I enjoy playing around with the more retro style, it's fun finding items that are just objectively cool that don't fit well with the more modern style, like the Reve Marin goggles or the mosquito wings.

I think this one is pretty cute, but it definitely feels like it's missing something. I had a lot of trouble with the legs, I found most of my options to sort of clash with the pose of the arms. In the end, I think it looks fine, but I feel that I would have been more satisfied with something different.

                      Use my new midori items to create an avi around the nori Cool Blooming Freedom hair.

                      I like how the colors look with the sepia filter of the Danse des Velours background, the match of different colors with the various filtered backgrounds is something I'm really picky about.

                      She seems to be a forest deity, but for some reason, locals seem to always depict her near water. Seeing her here on the cliff beach, you see a strange longing in her eyes as she looks out at the sea.

                      The pastel tones of the face and the flat look of the Summer Crane Empress eyes made me lean towards the vibes of a pastel spring fairy, but I also tried to streamline the outfit. Clutter comes very naturally to me, and I've been trying to play with styles outside of my comfort zone. I love how the colors here work together.
