Thanks for the thread!

Looking like a pass for me today. While I adore Simple Esse's background, I'm quite content to watch for a cheap recolor later down the line. Like, the kind we get in a recolor RIG that's in a comparatively unpopular (or just less popular) scheme? That one. I'll wait for that one and then go wild with it. Love Search is simply not my thing and that's okay. Malibu is fun, regardless.

Hm. Imma be a bad supporter of agender and/or masc-leaning items and say that I want to see Celestial Duchess. Purely because the potential for color blocking could make for some interesting things. Good interesting, not bad! Quetzalcoatl could be a bizarre but fun choice. ninja

Not that I didn't like Low Frequenscene or Academic Evening (also for backgrounds) but that color block potential has me way too curious to vote for anything else!

Plastic Love Search looks pretty good.

Iridescent Simple Esse is a miss and miss to me. The only pose I like from it is the birds on the fence. If the color is colored blocked instead of gradient, it would have looked so well done. Sadly, it doesn't.

Passing on the LQR since they dropped the best pose in the item, the background hearts. Whats remaining is too basic to be 550gc. Did scoop up that BE tho. Thanks for the thread!

looks like I’m odd man out today because I actually liked the iri recolor! hate that it was a BE (but it’s iri so, expected) and I’m glad it wasn’t 3000+ GC at least like some have been. I don’t usually wear iri but for some reason I find myself collecting it soooo into the closet it goes. I thought the long dress was super pretty! I do agree that Esse really shines with the natural-colored schemes (ya know with browns and greens), so I’m def looking forward to more of those recolors! maybe Multiberry and I feel like Kaguya is a shoo in at some point.

grabbed a copy of Malibu love search too. am slut for any pearl blonde hairs oop. I also thought the pattern on the leggings was super cute!

I've reported the missing "heart" BG pose in the Avatar Item Glitch Report Thread, since it is almost certainly an unintended omission (all other recolors have it). Hopefully it'll get fixed up soon!

We've gotten very little fantasy skin love lately. Just an absolute dearth. It's so sad. It's effin' summer and yeah I know I have bare legs like year 'round because I'm me, but fantasy skin users want to be able to enjoy the beach weather too, Gaia. crying

Agreeing with a lot of other comments that Esse in iridescent is a bit of a waste for all the gorgeous background poses. 

I much prefer natural looking backgrounds and colour schemes that lean into that.
