Hello! Thank you for stopping by our thread for our Gaia Discord server! We hope you'll check us out and see what we're here for.
Our server is open to everybody on Gaia, no matter what forum you prefer, whether you only play zOMG!, or even if you're a returning oldbie! We hope to offer everybody a welcoming environment by encouraging chatter and interaction within our public server.

Rules and Guidelines

★ Be Kind to One Another

Abusive behaviour is not tolerated on Gaia Online and it is not tolerated in this server. Please work out sensitive matters privately and keep the main channels drama-free. Do not abuse the @ function to annoy or harass other members in the server. In Voice Chat, be courteous to others, make space for others to join the conversation, and use the corresponding #voice-text channel to post text content that relates to the Voice Chat conversation. Trolling and otherwise inflammatory behavior is strictly forbidden and may result in a warn or ban.

★ Respect Server Moderators

Server moderators are put in place to help this space run smoothly and safely. We reserve the right to remove any content that is deemed inappropriate or offensive, and we reserve the right to permanently ban members who cannot obey our Code of Conduct. If you find content that you feel is either a breach of Gaia’s Terms of Service or is inappropriate/offensive, please DM one of our server moderators. If a situation within the server needs immediate attention, you may also @ one of the available server mods, but please leave it to us to deal with the situation.

★ Keep Spam Under Control

We have channels set up for various activities. Please use these to your advantage to guide discussion and help keep larger channels manageable. Do not spam low content (such as emotes or gibberish) in order to raise your server rank. Doing so will force us to remove you with a warning.

★ Reacting to the Rules is Required to Be Able to Chat.

Upon joining, you will be able to view the channels within the server but not type. The rules have a react that you must click in order to gain the role that verifies your membership and allows you to type. Introductions are now optional.

★ Level and Personality roles!

Our server includes AmariBot, which grants xp to each user for being active in the server. The xp goes toward Levels that grant special permissions such as the ability to react, post images, embed links, and request personality roles! These roles are short descriptors meant to be fun little personality tags on your user profile. We also have self-assignable roles for other reasons, such as pinging people with Cloud 9 access or mock artists for recolor purposes!

★ Giveaways!

This thread will host several giveaways for those who participate in keeping it alive! You don't necessarily have to be in the server to win the prizes either. One cool feature we have in-server, however, is the #giftbox channel! Users are free to use this channel to hold giveaways of their items (and they often do- wink). The channel is open to everyone level 10 and up!
**Please be aware that joining the server specifically to claim giveaway items may result in you being muted from that channel, however!

★ Nitro Boost Features!

Now that Discord allows server boosting, we have given users the ability to suggest which emojis are added to the server! Members who boost the server are also given a hoisted, colored role with an icon as a thanks for their generosity!

★ Cash Shop Updates!

We post daily cash shop updates with links to all updated threads! Dedicated CSU Helpers within the server do their best to keep these updates timely and concise with info such as release time and price. Our #item-discussion channel is used to discuss these updates so that the #csu channel remains clear and easy to access.

★ Monthly Avatar Contests!

We will also be hosting a reoccurring avatar contest that changes theme monthly. Winners are decided by community vote and can choose a flair of their choice from the Support Gaia page as their prize!

★ GaiaOnline Related Alerts!

Our Project Recolor community members are always ready to share when release and acceptance waves happen. For each release, we create a thread where users can share and discuss their grants! We have also started alerting users of when Ask the Staff happens, if you'd like to keep up with that!

Hello all! My name is Leo, I'm 23 yrs old, and I'm insui on gaia. I tend to be pretty active amongst the project custom and recolor communities, and I talk quite a lot in #avatar-talk and #item-discussion as well. I draw and paint sometimes but it's not very frequent if I'm being honest. I'm a full time college student that aspires to teach and learn different languages around the world~ I'm very open to making new friends, even if I come off as reserved at first, so feel free to talk to me whenever!

Heyo, I'm an old dude named Gene (Baron Gene on gaia). I am some age between Old enough and Ancient. As Grandpa of the server, I hold #gift-box as my precious baby (who doesn't like to spoil others), you can also find me in #project-custom for my disgusting obsession with Toxic and anything green and spamming #avatar-talk. Although you'll find me pretty much lurking everywhere (hello!) I'mma obnoxiously friendly old person and always here to talk or assist in any help. Oh, and I love dogs and currently college student.
