This is my 3rd Giveaway thread and, as always, I have learned a lot since the last time! You may have noticed there was a huge gap of time between the Summer Giveaway & this one! That's because over the course of the last few months, I have helped my mom move in with me from across the country and then move back, as well as started and stopped 2 different jobs. Things are still as crazy as ever, but now I'm back to spread some love!

Here are the answers to some questions which are frequently brought up during or after the Giveaway.

Q: "What time is the cut off to enter for the Daily Prize?"

"Players are allowed to enter for the Daily Prize once per day. But with everyone in different timezones, it can be a little confusing as to what a "day" is around Gaia. So to clear up which time is the cutoff for entries each day, we have tried to explain it a little further:"

Q: "Are mules allowed?

Mules are only allowed to be used for the Quote Game.

"The thought here is that no matter what account you are on, you have to quote first to win the Quote Game. Being on a Mule account or "alt" account does not grant any advantages. But having to switch over to your main before you can quote the image may mean missing out!"

Q: "Are Staff allowed to participate?"

"Yes. Due to the way the games are designed, staff members (AKA volunteers in the thread) gain no special advantage from their position. All winners are determined by random selection. Volunteers are encouraged to play and players are encouraged to volunteer."

How to Play

✸Generate a random number from 0 to 1000.

Win a prize if you land on one of the following nbrs:

🔲 Any Number Below 10 = Category C
(Does NOT include 10)

🔳 Triples* = Category B
(111, 222, 333, 444, 555, 888, 999)
(*Does NOT include 666 or 777)

🔲 42, 69, 420, 666, 777 = Category A
(AKA Players that roll a 666 or 777 get to pick a prize from Cat A)

🔳 0, 1000 = Category S
(AKA Players that roll a '0' get to pick a prize from Cat C *AND* Cat S!)

There is a list of all winning numbers in sequential order below in the section called 'Copy Text'.

✶Each player may win up to 5 times PER DAY in all categories combined.

Prizes

✸Players may choose to pick a prize from a Category lower than their win. (AKA a person that wins a prize from Category A may choose their prize from Category B or C if there are no prizes in Category A at the time.)
✸Wins may not be banked for more than 1 week. Player must "cash in" their win when the Prize Board is replenished. Failure to pick a new prize the following week will lead to that win being forfeited by the player.
✸Players may not transfer or "give" wins to other players. It is simply too hard to keep track of.

Winners are allowed to pick their own prizes from the following Categories:
Category S (aka "Special" ) = Items worth ~10k-35k plat
Category A (AKA 'Cat A') = Items worth ~3k-10k plat
Category B (AKA 'Cat B') = Items worth ~1k-3k plat

HOW TO ENTER
Each person that enters the Daily Prize Contest will be granted one entry per day into the Grand Prize Drawing as well. This means that the more you come back and play the Daily Prize, the more chances you get to win the GRAND PRIZE! If you stop by and enter every day, that's up to 31 chances per person to win! (Percentage chance of winning will depend on the number of people that choose to participate each day in the daily contests & how many days each person enters.)

RULES
✶Winners will be selected at random. (Using a public RNG post & a corresponding Entries list.)
✶Four total winners will be selected in order to determine a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner, as well as a Runner Up.
✶Each winner will receive the corresponding set of items listed in the prize section below.
✶Winners will be drawn after the entire Giveaway ends on March 31st at midnight GMT (2am Central).
✶All entries made before the end of the Giveaway will be tallied & included in the final drawing.
✶Only one winner in each place and each winner may only place once. (IE There is no way to win BOTH first and second place.)
✶Staff and winners of previous Giveaways are still eligible for the Grand Prize Giveaway
✶Mule accounts are NOT allowed to participate.
✶Any unclaimed prizes that remain from other Giveaway games or contests may be added as bonus prizes to the final drawing. (Prizes will be distributed among the winning places depending on the number and value of any remaining items, in order to reflect the tiered nature of the grand prize drawing's winnings.

How to Play

Rules

✶Players are allowed to request a new set of free items each week for a total of 4 requests.
✶All items are worth more than 1p but less than 200p.
✶Requested items that have already been claimed may be replaced with another item.
✶If a requested item must be replaced with another item, this does not count towards the player's limit of item requests (since it is just a change to their previous request).
✶Try to avoid requests like "anything is fine" or "surprise me" bc history has shown that gloom is bad at fulfilling these requests.
✶Multiples of a single item will count towards your total number of items. (IE you can't request 10 copies of Sealy March AND 10 copies of Fawn March but you can request 5 copies of each item for a total of 10 items.)
✶Trades containing the requested items will be sent from the thread mule, death_of_the_rose. These may come from gloomspell or a volunteer.
✶Allow extra time to receive these items. The Junk Drawer item list is updated less frequently than the others. Please be patient when waiting for the Trade to be fully accepted.
