I realized I also have a little backlog now of casual avis, due to inspiration from the latest spirit box items.
A little mushroom-harvesting guy. I started with the coat pose because I really liked how much contrast this recolor has between the colors of the coat, bag, and mushrooms. It was fun to use some other recolors and poses I don't use that often, but seemed to fit perfectly with each other.

Basically a female version of the last avi, but I had actually made this one first. Click to favorite.
I made two versions of this mushroom girlie. I wasn't sure which hair color I preferred. The dark sable blends into the rest of the outfit better, but I kind of like the contrast of the tawny hair.
I haven't been making many new avis lately, but I have a bunch from this year that I haven't posted yet. I want to try to get them all out by the end of this year, but I don't want to do a huge dump either. We'll see what I end up doing. Here's a couple of withered avis. Click to favorite.
I made this back when came out, but I never felt like wearing her. I think I was going for some kind of fantasy princess.
I made this one around the time that came out. I was going for like a creepy forest sorcerer, but I didn't get around to wearing her at the time. I feel like this one came together when I added the hair. Who knew taupe looked so good with withered?

Some forest folks I've made in the past several months but haven't posted. Click to favorite.
I think this one started with the hair? I love making avis like this and just piling leaves and stuff on. I tried to distinguish this one a little by adding gold.
No clue what was on my mind when I made this, it was so long ago. I did use it for a runway entry for the theme "Beeauty vs Beast: Flip the script! Show us your most Beautiful Men and your most Beastly Women!" and added a background to it because it does seem like backgrounds generally perform better in Runway. It didn't do great, got 19th place.
Runway version.
This one started with me wanting to make an avi with a mask, but I went through a lot of masks to get there. I tried each of the ritualist masks from a couple of years ago, but none of them worked quite how I wanted. I'm happy with how it ended up though. The layering is a bit funky but it doesn't look too bad even when the layers move around.
Time for another little dump, this time the theme is that these were all inspired by the style of octoepuss! Click to favorite.
I made this in February, which is when some big changes happened at my work, so I think things just got a bit lost in the shuffle and I didn't get to posting her. I was trying to add sage/green to bearly (rust, cream, and this warm brown) and I do like how the colors worked out.
I was trying to combine nori and withered. I started with the arm pose and really tried to get a tattered look with the dress/skirt. I made this back in March and kept tweaking it, but wasn't happy with it. I'm still not happy with it tbh.
This was one of my cracks at trying to use the new autumnal scheme. I really like how it looks, but find it a little hard to work with so far. I have 3 in progress avis trying to use it, this one is the most complete.
I actually made this one fairly recently, I wanted to use the Gone Foragin' mushroom accessory. This one came together pretty quickly.
