I put this one together on a whim to see how much use I might get out of that coat. In a way this avi actually makes a nice companion to the last one. She was a warm toned girl in a comfy sweater and he's a cool toned guy in a cozy jacket. They both seem to have an appreciation for walking out in nature, at least.
She strikes me as a young girl posing for a portrait painting in like the 16th century or something in a very cold climate country. She's decked out in furs and dried flowers, and uncomfortable with having to stand still for so long in such dress. At least she's warm.
Wow!
you have designed a lot of avatars so far!
I really like the current one (the others too, of course!)
you have a wonderful style emotion_bigheart
I wish you a great day

Thank you very much! I'm so glad you liked visiting my closet!
You have a wonderful day as well.

I love this plaid we've been getting lately. I was messing around with this one for a while, I think brick works nicely with this plaid because of the subtle red stripe in there. I know I use this hat a lot, and I'm sorry, but it just has that perfect traveler/fantasy/witchy/elfen aesthetic and the neutral color and the way it plays so nicely with hairs makes it hard to resist.
Just made this avi to play with The Forgotten Grotto bundle. I love these items! I don't actually have a lot of gunmetal, so I used independence to try to balance it out. The scheme also doesn't use ivory or offblack, but I have way more of those than pure black and white. I tried a bunch of hairs for her, this one is cute I think with the heart and is more true to the scheme by not being offblack. It was also nice to finally use one of those kitty bags, I have 3 recolors but found them hard to use because many arm mods hide the kitty.
Putting all the pistachio frogs together, a bright floral avi in celebration of the Spring Equinox. I used to dislike blooming, but I've totally come around and actually like the scheme even though it's brighter and more colorful than I usually go for.
I have been dabbling with a little bit of cosplay lately, but I didn't really build my inventory with that in mind so think of these as "inspired" more than a direct cosplay.

This avi is inspired by the witch Renna in Elden Ring. She was quite tricky for me to do because she's colored in the types of tones I don't typically get. I scrounged together hopefully enough to get the blue-gray-white balance, but I didn't have any items in those colors to make a good replica of her actual outfit.
I recently read Gideon the Ninth and now I'm reading Harrow the Ninth. I thought I'd be able to pull off the aesthetic for these characters from a skeleton-ridden necromancy world since I collect dark and spooky items, and I do think these are closer to what the characters would look like than my Renna is. I used the book covers as a loose guide. I've really enjoyed the series so far, it's funny while also having emotional depth and interesting characters and world-building.
I was very relieved I could find decent aviators in my inventory, since those are Gideon's signature item. Her face paint is meant to be a little worse looking than Harrow's and her favorite thing is her long-sword. This sword probably isn't right but it was the closest I had. Gideon also likes to show of her biceps, but unfortunately I couldn't pull that off.
I made this version of Harrow while I was still reading the 1st book, so her outfit is based on that story. In the 1st book she wears a hood and veil, but on the cover of her own book she does not. For her I just tried to add as many bones and skeletons as possible. She wears as many bone bits as she can, since her main necromancy power is to create skeletons from bone fragments. Fun fact that you can't see in the final avi, she is wearing a hidden layer of shirts that have skeleton ribs on them.
so glad this is still a thing i havent logged on here in 8 years haha
Welcome back! I took a super long haitus for a while myself, I don't remember for exactly how long, and returned in 2019 after seeing a youtube video about gaia's economy My favorite part of the site has always been making avis, and I feel like there are some super talented avi makers on here still. That's how I got caught up on what new items had come out since I was gone.
A very casual avi with some nonsensical bunnies, because when I threw them on it made the avi seem more complete. I absolutely love the new terrabud and terrabloom items, this pants pose was probably my favorite pose of all.
A box of black kittens left out in the rain. There's a little frog watching over them until someone adopts them.
I started this way back when the void cats item first came out, but I don't usually use scenic avis. I figured since it's April Fool's day it's a good day for something a bit different, plus the rain makes it appropriate for the season. The item list is ridiculously short, and someone has probably made a similar avi before.
