Hello! I thought it would be helpful to have a place for people to submit their queries in advance for the next Ask the Staff event. Feel free to post your questions here, questions answered will go in OP of the next event. For those of you who's questions did not get answered, you may post your question here.

Please be sure to follow the Rules and Guidelines posted below. These apply not only to this thread by all Ask the Staff events!

  1. One question per post.
    Please only ask one question in your post. Asking more than one question in your post may result in your post getting skipped for not following this.

  2. Repeat posts will be deleted.
    Please only post your question once. Repeated posting of the same question multiple times on the same day may result in the additional posts being deleted or in your loss of being able to post to the thread. This is to help keep the noise in the thread down and allow questions by others to be seen.

  3. Do not post support issues.
    Do not post issues regarding account bans, billing issues, warnings, and other support issues. Instead, please file a ticket about them at our Help Center. Questions about support issues may result in your post getting skipped.

  4. Not all questions will be answered.
    There are a few reasons why a question might not be answered. Here are some of the most common reasons why that happens:

    There are questions that are asked that have been asked and answered previously and the answer given there hasn't changed, therefore we don't answer that.

    There are questions that we simply do not have an answer to at the moment.

    There are questions asked in a format other than the one that we recommend you post in.

  5. The thread may get locked periodically.
    Should the thread posts grow faster than we can handle, we may temporarily lock the thread while we catch up. We will post if the lock is because of us catching up, or due to the event being over.

  6. Item suggestions and requests.
    Questions specifically asking for item requests will not be answered in ATS. They may not be responded to individually in the interest of getting to other questions. You may also post your item request and suggestions in the Item Request Thread in Site Feedback!

Man, ******** being polite about this.
Leaving behind links and direct quotes to the guidelines ur violating just ain't enuff for Gaia staff to own up to their own bullshit huh?

I certainly hope they make that stuff illegal soon cuz u can bet dollars to donuts this site is finna get hit hard with a class action lawsuits.

Commercials at 2am gonna be running "Have you or your child ever spent money on the website Gaia Online? You may be entitled to compensation".

But nah man, let just ignore it till it goes away.
Or the pull they ******** app from the app store while I sit around saying I told u so.

Hello, I was inquiring if it would be possible to open a specialty forum for a community event I'd like to get started?

It's called maid day and I would really appreciate it if you would either make an announcement for it, or a sub forum if possible.

I made a basic set up for the event in the test forum. Linked below.

The reasoning why I'm asking is because I know how tired the community has gotten of the constant announcements and I figured this would be a nice little breather to remind them that Gaia cares about their experience, and wants to see their users happy.

Even if it's not possible to make an announcement or a specialty forum, I would appreciate it if you could put the thread in the bulletin board come September 24th.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. I do appreciate everything that the staff has done.

Cloak of invisibility and Flynn's again. I've just filed a scamming report since the same person has actually placed bids for each and every cloak in Flynn's in order to keep the price high. I don't think this is in any way fair to us others. Please take a look at this and stop this way of gaming the system.

Gaia Online is just about as relevant as someone stepping in s**t, it's a mishap, that's about it. lol

I'm pretty sure there'll be no commercials running, or anything picking up any traction regarding Gaia any time soon.

As for what they do with their shady business practices? There's been ample opportunity to sue Gaia into oblivion, but will anyone risk putting time and money forth for that? Nah. It'd be just be a waste on an already dying site. That doesn't mean they can get away with s**t like this though, so blasting them publicly about it is the best thing!

Regarding the Avatar Builder, is there a reason why, when I select the option to ‘view opposite gender’, any subsequent actions except for ‘Get Naked’ that I take only apply themselves to the built avatar of my (current avvie’s) own gender? I’m trying to build a male OC and if I can’t work with the male base… that’s going to be a bit of a problem. (Of course, I could work around this by having the female base in the Builder wear limb mods and all, but it’s just not the same thing.)

Question: Could we please have a way to disable the Announcements bubble? I have completely given up trying to keep up with them since the queue fills up so quickly, and would prefer not to see the bubble any more.

idk how feasible this is, but i was wondering if we could have an option to have items that a user does not currently
possess equip in the dress-up page if it is apart of a saved outfit? (for clarification, i'm not asking for these items to
be able to be saved outside of the closet feature.)

personally, it's difficult to wade through the divide between which items i own and which ones i don't, as well as trying
to remember the specific poses that were equipped as a part of that particular outfit. mp item disparages leaves it difficult
to complete an outfit on the spot, so i usually save it for later until i can successfully attain the entire list of items.

it's more of a convenience thing.
