Slightly off topic, but I appreciate that you bring up the Guild permissions issue on AtS often even when it has been weeks since the issue has started. Looking forward to when I can look through Angie's guide again.

Not really off topic since people probably can't see the thread linked this week. I'll poke again tomorrow and hopefully there will be a resolution. I'm trying really hard to keep the threads from having to be redone
I haven't looked through the AtS from today, but I did see the Staff Notice that they've fixed the issue with moving guilds and guild permissions! We can see Angie's guide(s) again! There's the separate problem of Gaia's images, but at least we can go to the guide again!

Hello! Here is my attempt at deeply possessed. I really like this theme but I think it would pop more with red hair. I would've done red hair myself but it didn't seem to work with my outfit.

Inaqtuk's Wife

Team Chicky

There are not a *ton* of items I can work with in this color scheme, but I did my best!
I don't really care for this blue, even less so with the black, but can tolerate it with whites and some red.

Aquatic Liege

Apparently, I sold all but one of my possessed items? Did not know that until this week. Oh, well.

I do like both versions of possessed. Something about the spooky-esque blue just makes me happy. Maybe it was my love of the Southtown item series when it came. (I adored them beyond reason at the time.) Psh. Maybe it's just because it allowed/allows us to make ghosts that aren't pure white. Who knows? I loved it then, I still like it now. Just not as fervently. Admittedly, I'm not 100% sold on the pop of red (it's fun and the contrast is nice) but... I dunno. We'll just go with like them both.

Definitely have to agree with NocturnalVeil here: recolors of Lichdom Calling would be amazing. That bony dragon object head is gorgeous and I'd love to see it in colors I'm more likely to use. (Like, make it mostly silver/white with Fallen Wish accents for the nostalgia. Or just go the usual off- and regular-monochrome route. Either or. Plus all the others. More dragon heads, please.)

Ectoplasm... eh. It's nice enough and I do like that Stagony green. Just not super into it. Maybe once it gets a few more items and we can see it on a greater range of things. And dagnabit. Now I'm humming the Danny Phantom theme song, too. emotion_facepalm

(Lightly) Possessed was that color scheme that I found pretty but didn't had enough interest to actually collect it. I suppose I liked it enough to create a color scheme thread of it together with polar and mournful back then, which kind of died when I began tracking all blue items on Gaia. Eventually, I separated it from the shades of blue thread and transferred it to the guild's teal color scheme thread because I find it nearer to teal than blue.

Regarding the naming of the two Possessed schemes, lightly possessed was unofficially called Ghost back then, because it had the ghost tag on it. And because some items had the name ghostly on them, it sometimes can get confused with the ghostly scheme, which is now called mournful. When Deeply Possessed was first introduced, it didn't have an official name, but a lot of items were tagged possessed and deep, so eventually, the name stuck, and ghost became old/lightly possessed while the newer possessed became deeply possessed because Gaia officially named it afterwards in the seasonal tie-dye schemes. Just a warning though, if you're going to search for items in these two schemes in the MP, most of the items are not tagged properly so you'll mostly see the deeply possessed items than the lightly possessed ones.

As for Ectoplasm, I'll pass on it. I'm not much into artesian green despite the fact that I track the stagony scheme where artesian was first introduced. I prefer stagony over it.

I don't own items from any of the featured schemes, so I'll just use my showcase avis here:

Wait it was in a tei-dye?! Oh, Fall 2017. That was a long time ago =0.0=

Sorry I guess I made a mistake there when I was trying to talk about the earlier! Lucky for me Angie exists! And has given a much better explaination

Here is another Possessed look.

I would like to try to make one using just the green of the Ectoplasm scheme, but I am not sure I will be able to scrounge up enough of it to craft a whole look. It is a lovely green, though, and I would like to see more single-colour items in it.

Dapper Puppy

I like all 3 schemes, but I really have a preference to deeply possessed. That use of red really just makes it something out of this world. It is like when concrete jungle uses proto blue. Just that dash of something so different to make it feel so unique.

Here is the best look I was able to make featuring Artesian Green.

I am not a fan of Ectoplasm as a scheme, however, because I do not enjoy most schemes which start with black/white (or offblack/offwhite) and then jam in another colour and force all colours into every pose. That use of schemes seems restrictive to me. I prefer when entire poses can have just one of a scheme's colours, allowing me to create my own schemes or focus on non-schemed looks.

Let's rock this. I love breaking out items I haven't been able to work into anything for a while.

Deeply Possessed. I utilized this scheme heavily in our Schoolboy and Biohazard sections. As per usual, I really enjoy turquoise, despite the fact it can be overwhelming. The SeongMi Possessed Doll is the epitome of the scheme to me, though I omitted the optional red, because of how delicately it's detailing turned out and how the turquoise doesn't completely overpower the ghostly blue. My goto with this scheme is silver and pure white (though due to horns, I needed to mix whites), because the brilliance helps moderate the turquoise. Notable schemes I've included are saiphic and wintermint here, as well as a little unnamed blue from older items. I tried to work in Spica, but there was just too much blue to contend with instead of getting the aqua to come out. I saw several similar blues in searching 'aqua', but also a lot of items too green tinged to count. I've done possessed using the red before, but it just doesn't speak to me, unlike pairing orange and blue.

Lightly Possessed, and I really adore that distinction and how it sounds. Lightly Possessed is tricky because the old ghost-type items are so badly tagged. I'll take any excuse though to rock the Juno Recolors in the modern era though, so worked around that (that train in position 1!). I hit the silvers and whites again hard to add some elegance and balance (the old skirts and their slots make it impossible to layer skirts in the most ideal way), but notably here I'm using some robin and luminescence. I think ghostly blue could see a comeback if combined with something else, since schemes like milan (blue yellow) are so popular and blue in general has never had a rise and fall like other colors.

Ectoplasm is a joy because green (you can get away with a little seabreeze and midori in the right places), but boy, am I annoyed at these horns that I can glitch successfully in dressup to be multicolored, but can't get to save to the forums.
Again, saiphic and wintermint are my friends here, to go with ectoplasm itself, stagony, seabreeze, and midori. Oh, and independensea, can't forget that. None of them are perfect matches, but the starkness of the black heavily distracts and helps the pairings. Despite my general lack of interest in black, I could see myself wearing ectoplasm more, even if it would be up to the user to put out any more items in it, since Gaia is so stuck on midori, seabreeze, and so on. Even their stagony is purple-heavy (everything is purple heavy, let's be real). I really like the way the scheme is treated though, taking and showcasing artesian green. I super approve and would support this scheme more if more happened.

Seems like it's all about the butter and the (green) blues this week, huh? 3nodding
I really like wintermint b/c it's nice and pale and with white or ivory, it's just really simple and clean. and then you add coral or raspberry and there's that pop of color and brighter balance.
Buttercup is a really nice spring scheme (something this season seems to be missing). Like a paired down sour (yellow and bright green, right?) it just makes me happy to look at.
Down the that last two, butterbreeze and sinn........ I like sinn a million times more than butterbreeze b/c mint is just bright and lively and seabreeze is just so meh next to and gradating to butter.

Avatars to come later in the week.

I like wintermint, it's a soft color that I'm glad often comes in separated poses, makes it easier to mix and match freely. Though the available items lacks pretty much all that I like to dress my avatar in, it's mostly casual and feminine, so I went with a bird theme for my avatar. I wish the older items were better tagged, especially the hair, but searching 'cool' does bring up a lot of them in my inventory. (It's something) User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. I like Wintermint, and happened to have an avatar already made with this theme in mind. There's a couple other colors mixed in, but this is a fun theme to work with from time to time. heart
