Good morning! Here is my graham cracker attempt. I like the colors but I don't think the theme is really for me. It's probably just the items are not really my style but I did find that some strawberry items shared a very very similar shade of pink. This is perhaps one of the cheapest sets I've ever made as well, about 22,000 plat. smile

Soo... tbh, I always thought Graham Cracker was the color of the hair (which I never used) and that the scheme was called wintermint. XD I'll be 100% honest - I don't use the poses with the color graham in them if I can avoid it. I don't like that shade of pink. I'll usually use it with pearl blond or ivory hair instead. I try to omit the cream too whenever possible, because I just don't like cream. Looks dingy to me. sweatdrop

So....the paw exclusive scheme is literally winterberry with poppy/dahlia added? dunno how I feel about that. Both Poppy and Rosamund/Raspberry are usually very dominant when they appear in schemes, and typically I try to limit their usage to small pops of color, especially when they're mixed with super-soft colors like wintermint.
Like, I prefer something like this: User Image
in comparison to something like this: User Image

I'll have to seriously play around with items to see if I can make the combo work.

I love the scheme, but hate that 99% of it, the coral and wintermint are ombre'd together. I prefer them with separate color blocking.

as I thought, it's pretty easy to make a human avvie for Shaved Ice b/c the colors are so accessible in so many different kinds of items.

May add more later! I did have to rein myself from using neptune when i used poppy b/c i like goshiki so much.

I'm out of inspiration for a new avi so here I am again~
Graham Crackers? eek lol I've also thought the scheme was Wintermint!User Image It's an older scheme that has some resurgence recently...I prefer the pop of color in Winterberry more to balance the lack of it in Graham Crackers but I'll see what I can do...

With all the pinks/purples recently, more variety is always welcome. :3

edit: personally it's too simple and doesnt have enough wintermint but then I gotta scrounge for outside my inventory

It's Graham Cracker as a sub-scheme to Wintermint over all. I suppose I fudged what I rolled a bit and went with the sub-scheme instead of Wintermint itself this time.

Good morning! Here is my shaved ice attempt. I tried to mix in all the colors. I think it turned out alright but I don't think this is a theme that appeals to me. Usually certain themes I'm drawn to right away and the type of items that go along with those themes is usually part of it, but it not for this thread, I probably wouldn't have tried the theme. Just doesn't grab my attention much.

I like wintermint and since graham cracker is mostly simply adding a pink shade for the hairstyle, it's looking nice due to the contrast it's adding.

I didn't know about Shaved Ice, but I do like the mix of colors so I will try to test it later smile

As for Sweetdreams, since there's only wigs with ombre so far, it's a little too early for me to know if I really like it or not as schemes depends both on how items are colored and the colors themselves.

Graham Cracker is a love/hate relationship for me. On one end, it has ram horns in it, and wintermint, both of which are winners for me. It has creme too, which is always a winner for me (to the point I'm reviving it's root scheme, the mother of all creme). But...that pink. I can do without pink, more and more often than before now. I think the scheme has good contrast and balance, that's important and something I'll recognize here, but I think another green or blue would have been more appropriate as it's offset color. Yes, that puts us pretty much in Saiphic territory...but maybe that's okay.

Where has Shaved Ice been all my life? Typically I know color schemes pretty well, but this one came out of the blue and I'm loving it. It's winterberry, already a favorite scheme, with poppy, something I love adding to everything when possible. Blue and orange are always welcome complementary colors in just about any form, but add in the pop of raspberry and top with gold? Wonderful! I'll wear this more often, it's just my jam, and I have plenty component pieces for it. I can see the sweetheart crowd liking this, as well as the milan crowd (related, but not entirely). Goshiki lovers can appreciate this combo for drawing from similar roots, and I hope we see it on more items than just Paw items!
Shaved Ice takes a winter scheme and a summer scheme, sticks them together, and then you get something tasty for the whole year round, just like the name implies.

Another pink and blue-green scheme. Seadreams, Rosebreeze, various petal schemes in general...even demure. Sweetdreams doesn't do it for me. It's attractive enough, I suppose, but it's too colors and one of them is pink, which I'm really starting to shy from. I also admit it's better than Seadreams, Rosebreeze, and Demure for being softer than all of them and the wintermint particularly attractive, but for once I found that there's a shortage of pure wintermint items available to fill the need here. On the brightside, with it's two colors being from popular schemes, it's very easy to put together. Someday the wintermint items might exist to help me finish this avatar.

The new schemes are up! They're all fairly small but should be able to component the user mades at least

i really like the colors in dearly damned and yokai. i'm a big fan of deep reds and deep purples and i'm a big fan of when they look good togetherr. i'd really like to see more items in yokai

as an asexual myself, i honestly don't care for the colors of the asexual flag lololol so while i am quite surprised there's an asexual color scheme for some items, i can't help but not like them as i don't think the colors go well together sweatdrop also i think that for the hair items, rather than just placing a gradient of the flag there, the colors of the flag should've been color-blocked instead which would've made the hair items look better imho (or the gradient could've been between two colors but trying to fit all four colors just doesn't make it look good)

Otherworldly Witch

I don't hate the colors in Asexual, but that gradient rubs me the wrong way. Not a fan.
Dearly Damned is something that I like aesthetically, and I'm angry that there hasn't been more of it, especially with how popular Serotina and Roseus have been as characters.
Yokai makes me feel nostalgic for high school, because those exact colors were our pride colors. Just makes me want to throw on some Shamrock with it, too, for good measure.

Aquatic Liege

I knew Dearly Damned was an evolving item... did not know it was a scheme. (Although, in hindsight, I should've. emotion_facepalm I recognize all of those items.) That almost raisin-y purple is nice. Not so sure about the pink, but true monochrome is always fun. Don't know that I'll really use the scheme. It's pretty. I like how it flows and the borderline creepy/mysterious feel it's got going on. Just doesn't fit nicely with a lot of my inventory.

Asexual on the other hand... I love. (When color-blocked, at least. Less love for it as a hue shift.) My biggest gripe with most byzantium items has always been the gold. I love, love, love the purple. Do not like how it mixes with gold. (Which is weird given my fondness for gold. I know.) Mixing it with silver or, in this case, black and white just works so much better. In my opinion. I'd really like to see more of this scheme, especially on some elegant and fantasy items. Purely because I royal purple + elegance works for me.

I had surprisingly less byzantium than I remembered, but I threw together a murderous flower in a cage for this week. It started off as a princess and then somehow turned into this...

Yokai is gorgeous. Wasn't so sure about the gradient/ombre on the hair, but seeing it in that floral item is just lovely. Kind of reminds me of sunset/astrolabe (with the purple/orange-gold) in that it's bold and somewhat contrasting but still a functional pairing. Looking forward to seeing some avatars in this scheme!

Purple schemes this week. Yeah, really dark or muted purples aren't really my cup of tea. I did like the story of Roseus and Serotina and then the subsequent one w/ their child, but their color scheme is too muted for me. Oh, I like Roseus pink!
For asexual, I just don't like the gradient of purple-white-black (offblack?), though I'm sure someone could make a color blocked version of this scheme. Milky way actually reminds me of it (partially) with its purple/white. Yokai is the one scheme this week that I like the most (which isn't saying too much). It reminds me of that one Monthly Collectible, actually... let me see if I can find it.

Found it! It's Imperial Guardian and also has a lovely yellow to provide some contrast. User ImageUser ImageUser ImageUser ImageUser Image

I wish I had more byzantium or amethyst or something to balance out all of the red. I added gold for most contrast. I do like how bright and saturated this is.

Celestial Champion

Dearly Damned reminds me of anko purple in the muted scheme =.=
Asexual looks like a gradient version of byzantium...
I think Yokai speaks to me the most but that could be because I want to support anything with crimson red xd I have gotten used to balancing 3 colors to achieve a scheme so it'll be interesting to go down to 2...
