has being gay been frowned upon due to religious teachings in the bible adn other historic texts? is is a just due to what most humans consider normal and not normal?
I don't think it's frowned upon solely for religious reasons. I think that anyone who frowns upon it does so for the same single reason (more or less): That, given the obvious design of both men and women and how they are supposed to procreate, homosexuality is seen by them as wrong, unclean, even immoral.
Its because..a lot of people (including me) think its wrong, immoral and pathetic..relationships is like a 60/40 thing (you can't make a 100 with adding two 60s nor two 40s)
just think about it: out of billion's of billions of people opposite of their respective anatomical gender...they choose to love someone with the same parts as they have...that alone makes them pathetic...(what?...being best friends forever with the person are not enough for them?)....
IMO....i believe These LGBT fools have no idea what they're missing, or they have fears on people opposite their anatomical genders...
It Make me question them: What are they afraid of in a straight relationship?...
Are they afraid of making commitment's on the opposite gender?
Are they afraid of making and raising a child made from each other's flesh and blood?
Or Are they Afraid of getting their feelings crushed into pieces when relationships had gone sour?
Because most people think that you have to be deep and depressed and edgy.
Oh... oh, you don't mean happiness, you mean homosexuality.
Search me, I don't know. A person's preferences in another person are their own business. I don't get on anybody's case for having a foot fetish, and I'd feel confused if anybody called me out for liking redheads. If a man has interest in another man, or a woman has interest in another woman, there's really nothing other than personal thoughts on "ickiness" keeping others from being okay with that.

Heartbreak exists in all types of relationships, not just heterosexual ones. Homosexuality is not derived from fear, but a simple preference in love and sexuality. You prefer being with the opposite gender because you are hardwired that way and homosexuals prefer being with the same gender because they are hardwired that way.
What's so immoral about loving another human being that's the same gender as you? It's not like these people are going out and ******** animals.
Its frowned upon only partly because of religion, but mostly because being gay means you are not fitting your gender role correctly. And we're in a fairly patriarchal society where everyone should neatly fit the roles they were born into (except this doesn't work most of the time). If you go against these roles, you are "upsetting things," you are making this orderly world confusing, and people don't like confusing things they can't order.
And people don't like changing mindsets they've grown up with.
Any argument that homosexuality is immoral because it doesn't facilitate procreation is bull, and that person obviously hasn't see the scary exponential growth of the human population verses how we can provide for that expanding population. Honestly, if at least 50% of the world was homosexual and agreed to adopt and raise the children who have been born without support, we would actually have a world of fewer but more provided for children.
So, while I'm sorry you're currently facing some painful times with your family and church not knowing/not accepting you, seriously, you better just keep being who you are and find people you love. There's nothing wrong with it.

Nothing....However...I called that as "Camaraderie"...and that's way different than Romance.
Romance has something to do with 60/40 thing that i mentioned previously, which is all about sharing his/her life with a person that has something that he/she don't have..both anatomical and spiritual-wise. (thus my permanent opposition to gay marriage...even if you consider me as an atheist).., ..
In my opinion, there are two kinds of love, ..that's Camaraderie and Romance..you can live through life with either of it
The problem with these LGBT community is that..these fools think both of them are the same But IMO it don't...What?...platonic/camaraderie/BFF Friendship is not enough for them?...well, Bulls**t!!!...
Romantic/Platonic Relationships aside:..
...their other reasons of being gay/lesbian and even Bisexual...is also bulls**t in my opinion.. (just as pathetic as the "first world problems" meme)...
..they can have Feminine (if male), or Masculine (if female) Interests and personality without categorizing themselves out of their respective anatomical gender...all they have to do that is to be proud for what they have,go straight, and ignore the ***holes that tries to label him/her out.
..and to these so-called "bisexuals": IMO They never actually belong in this so-called "third gender" even if they' want to..unless they're born hermaphrodites..
..and even if these people do that so-called "sex change"..they still belong their original gender (the evidence: Immune system and a lot of other anatomical features).
..also...some recent LGBT Propaganda and media attention makes me so angry...that i Literally flip tables out of anger
...If the US government thinks giving LGBT's Rights are equal and fair ...they might as well give Furry and incest people Rights while they're at it (because IMO..it's just as taboo, immoral, and pathetic as the LGBT people) ....
What's so immoral about loving another human being that's the same gender as you? It's not like these people are going out and ******** animals.
I wasn't trying to offend you by the way, I was just curious.
Just one question though. You make it sound like it's easy for a person to go with their opposite gender, but what about those people who literally have no sexual attraction for the opposite gender and only for their own? These people do exist, although it's very rare to find someone is completely straight or gay, in my opinion. How would your theory explain that?
I will say this though, even though I don't entirely agree with your theory, it does make sense in a few ways. My boyfriend has a lot of stereotypically feminine traits (not all of them, but they are far more noticeable than the few masculine ones that he has) and I have a lot of boyish traits so it equals out and creates a nice balance. So I can see what you're saying about a person sharing their live with another person who has something that they don't have. However, this is based on personal experience only, you would have to find statistics that show homosexuals who married a person of the opposite gender and are actually having a happy marriage despite their orientation. If you did this, you could further prove your theory.
I've never had a close relationship with another girl, so I can't say much about camaraderie because I've never experienced it. However, if what you say is true, then it would mean that two best friends of the same gender who become attracted to each other would only have this attraction because they are so familiar with each other that it creates a false sense of romantic love.
I don't see why the media can't report actual news. Don't get me wrong, I agree with equal rights, but it doesn't need to saturated over every news station when this country is trillions of dollars in debt. I wouldn't care if gay marriage is allowed or banned in this country, because I think at least the concept of tolerance towards gays and bisexuals is far more important than having a slip of paper that says they're married to the partner of the their choice. You may not agree with gays but you seem intelligent enough to just ignore them and let them do whatever instead of harassing them like I've seen some people do. Am I correct?

"Sexual orientation is distinct from other components of sex and gender, including biological sex (the anatomical, physiological, and genetic characteristics associated with being male or female), gender identity (the psychological sense of being male or female),* and social gender role (the cultural norms that define feminine and masculine behavior)." (From: http://www.apa.org/helpcenter/sexual-orientation.aspx). tl;dr: People don't go gay because they feel like their gender is wrong... There are "manly" gay guys and "womanly" lesbians.

So is bisexuality okay for hermaphrodites because nature made them that way?

Actually, before we continue this discussion:
When you say "gender," you mean "sex."
Sex = biological and physiological characterstics of women and men.
Gender = socially constructed roles, behaviours, activities, and attributes that a given society considers appropriate for men and women.
(Source: http://www.who.int/gender/whatisgender/en/) Their birth sex may linger, but their actual gender identity has been established for a long time. It is currently impossible for a sex reassignment surgery that perfectly changes all physical aspects of one's sex. Why do you bring it up? It makes trans people sad.

The difference between LGBT people is they are not hurting other people, and they consent to be in relationships with each other. Animals cannot consent and those who practice incest unsafely may put their child at harm (though cousins marry all the time--just look at FDR, Thomas Jefferson, Einstein, Darwin, Poe). It is right and fair to give adults the same rights regardless of their sex or gender. You do support women's rights, don't you?
In sum: My opinion is superior not because "yay gay rights, it is popular!" but because it is supported by fact and logic. Your illogical anger confuses me. And I do think calling large populations of people "taboo, immoral and pathetic" without good reason is not cute at all!
No need to thank me for my advice! Just my 2 cents!

Well, i beg to differ...but, hey!...everyone has a right of opinion...so i agree to disagree....

No, it actually isn't...that's life's challenges...no matter how hard (or NES hard...or whatever video game nerds call it) it is...people have to deal with it...i bet you feel a really better person its overcvome..and with less than 10 billion people on this planet (half of it are the opposite gender) why would these people give up on the opposite gender and be attracted to the same of what they have? it just doesn't make sense to me..and i think they don't find hard enough...

That's my point actually....these LGBT have blurred the boundaries between the two....and i fear that the next generation of youth might misinterpret their feelings of friendship or whatnot (doing more harm in humanity than what these people think)...

...yeah, but with NBA athlete this, and Filipino-American artist that..its getting so annoying...that i wanna pimp slap anyone who considered it as "News"
There are many different contributing reasons to why people don't like it. But frankly I don't think it should be anyone's business. As long it isn't hurting anyone then live and let live.
The problem with these LGBT community is that..these fools think both of them are the same.
Ummm, no I don't. There's the woman I love and female friends of mine that I do not bear romantic love for.
