There's nothing wrong with meating people online by chance. I met a guy online and started dating him in person a few years ago, though we've since broken up, and met one of my best friends online before meeting him in person. But, if you're going to use a personals site to go looking for someone, then there's no point in trying. If you can't find someone in the real world to have a relationship with then you don't need to bother.

People using personals sites, especially people here, don't need to bother. Anyone under the age of maybe 17 does NOT need to be hooking up with people online. There's too much risk at any age that someone could be lying and just want to rape or kill you for their own sick pleasure. I've gotten lucky so far. Everyone I've met online has been the same in person as they were online, but not everyone is going to be that lucky, especially not some horny, desperate little teenager who shouldn't be wasting time with a relationship in the first place.

Afterwards, you guys go meet each other, and realised - That other person is not great to look at, that other person may be the same gender as you, that other person is infact your sister/brother, that other person is some bald man/woman who lives with their parents with no job....

So, be active! Go outside, and meet people the better way!
