Hey there! Recently I fell in love with two colour schemes (or more so colour combos) and when I went to go look for items in said colour schemes, I realised that very little existed! So I am here making a thread to bring these two tiny colour schemes to the attention of more people in hopes that maybe Gaia will consider making more in these colours!


'oxide'


The first scheme is the previously unnamed scheme of rust, dusk grey, offblack, and (minor accents of) offwhite that was found in the item Delinquent's Bleeding Heart! I, and many others in this thread, gave it the name of 'Oxide' because it's rust and dusk (which is a grey so iron????)! Gaia then made this scheme's name official with it's release of RIP in Pieces! Now with 12 total items in this scheme, Oxide has gone from a non-existing theme to a small, workable theme! Let's hope it keeps growing!

Because there is now an official Oxide Guide, I have condensed the Oxide list in this thread!




Items are in order of their release.




'parliament'


The second colour scheme actually seems to have a name 'Parliament' and consist of butter, dusk, offblack, and offwhite (or ivory white)! I figured it must be named Parliament as the two items which share the scheme also share that tag in it (There's a seabreeze item in the tag, but since it's a recolour of one of the others, I assumed it was a mistag). The two items are Too School and Too Cool. This scheme FINALLY Got some love with a direct the 8/2 C/S release of Paint Wise Whiz, and then some more with the 8/9 The Stars, The Moon Rig release of Harvest Moon and the 6th Gatcha release of Tiger Shark Tamer!:

As you probably figured out by now, I really like offblack/offwhite and dusk >.>. I like it even MORE with accent colours and I feel these two are just great for it. I personally would love to see the 'oxide' scheme in the Hooded Fighter item, despite it being really close to the original... Other than that, I would just be happy with more items to make avis with instead of trying to take solid coloured items and putting them together!

Please note: I do plan on questing tickets for these colour schemes... eventually. The issue is, I don't exactly like one item enough to justify questing such an expensive ticket yet. I'm currently questing for an Oxide version if Exorcinner here! I would still be more than open to working with someone (either collaborating or just assisting their quest) if someone wanted to quest a ticket for either of these colour schemes though!

Well, it's just that Pusheh did most of his recolor with offblack, offwhite, and butter yellow, which is kinda similar to the Parliament. Here are few examples of his.

Considering that Parliament has four colors and Pusheh's color scheme has three (sometimes he has blue or pink add into it), it's pretty much two different color schemes despite having the same colors.

!!! Yes it's super great and yeah... that's all it is. I've searched 'grey' and 'gray' with rust and offblack as well (and looked through the rust colour guide) but that's the only item that I know if that specifically has dusk included with the offblack and rust. It makes me sad because it's such a lovely combo ;;;

I am a HUGE fan of the rust color, so hell yeah I'd be on board with that. There's just not enough rust at all, and it's often paired with brown for some reason. It'd be really pretty to have more items with it and the grey.
