Yes, other companies sell items for real money, but those items are NOT game breakers in the least bit. 75% of the pots Gaia sold for Cash were HUGE game breakers.

Oh definitely. They intentionally simplified the questions so they could manipulate the information in their answers in their favor. I really don't think they're actually dumb enough to miss the implied question behind "Why do you keep releasing Flynn's?"--because they know what users really want to know.

But I guess they feel if they ignore it, they can placate everyone with a non-answer that makes it seem like they're just trying to give people what they want. =w=;

Funny enough, I foresaw this problem the instant they introduced Gaia Cash. I never bought GC, hell I never spent a dime on the site, because I knew down the road, it would be pimped out on every corner as they scrape together that last dollar they need.

I'm looking at this issue now and laughing, enjoying the fact that I was right, then saddened because nothing is really improving.

...Still, they haven't forced me to pay for an account, so I'll continue making posts until such time as that becomes a reality.

I only just got around to reading the Q & A blog, but the answers just sounded like politician replies to me. Dodge around the important bit and spew a load of crap expecting people to believe it before moving on.

It's like they were asked if they stole a cookie and instead of giving a yes or no answer they go on about how that cookie is made of several different bad things so the fact it is now gone is saving you and that you shouldn't dwell on its whereabouts.

They don't care about us. They will always claim that they do, but they don't. It's all about the money. I work in this business and I know what they're doing and why they're doing it. It's all about short term profit.

IF Gaia's New Management is trying to make Gaia successful, they're taking an... interesting and completely counterintuitive way of making that happen. Nothing they have done in the last few months seems to be designed for the continuance of THIS site.

If on the other hand, they're simply trying to milk as much cash as they can out of the site before shutting it down in favor of their New Management Vision Site, Land of 18+ - that would explain the sales, the sales on the sales, the intentional destruction of the gold economy, the firing of anyone associated with the old site who won't shut up and roll with the New Directive and so on and so on.

Why would they remotely WANT a two-way interactive communication if the latter is the goal? All we'd do is muck up the Grand Vision with our demands of "why are you screwing your CURRENT customers" and such.
