I think it should be brought up in ATS again, but with all the relevant info included in the post at the time.
Phrasing it in a way they understand will probably be difficult because it doesn't seem like they do at all.

I always miss AtS because of how late I get home from work, but I tried bringing it up again in the Pre-AtS thread for this week
Hopefully that's worded in a way they can understand...

You (or anyone else) is always welcome to bring it up as well, if you happen to be online during AtS!

Thank you for all your feedback. I've spent more time trying to figure out the whole Youtube embedding coding and it turns out that I was wrong. We should be able to have autoplay with sound when the right options are present in the embed code.

A patch is being pushed out now that will include the option for autoplay and mute when editing the video content in your profile. So now you can have both autoplay with sound, or leave autoplay off all together. Hope this will help!

If possible, could you also look into allowing the media panel to accept the "https://www.youtube.com/embed/" URL?
This would allow users to insert both single videos or playlists, as well as add on whatever parameters they want (looping, start time, etc.)
I submitted a workshop request for this... so maybe we'll just have to wait until that gets to voting (if it makes it there) sweatdrop

This is awesome! Thank you! heart heart Is there a way to leave them both off? If I uncheck both options (then save), it turns them both on instead.

Whoops there seems to be a bug with turning autoplay off. It'll be fixed later tonight.

Go to edit your profile, and in the media panel options below the URL entry field are two new checkboxes to control autoplay and mute. You can't currently turn them both off, but if you check autoplay on and mute off, this does work.
