Optimized Avatar Customizer [Dev. P17&Subscribed!+Updated!!]

The day a developer subscribed to this thread, I was already working on a version that would improve this even more.

This time, mostly everything has been explained in the images so... "YAY! LESS TEXT TO READ! biggrin "

Now going through the basics again...
And since red bolded text is still ignored...


Now to start with.
Avatar and Options


The eye icon allows you to change both style and color untill there are new items in shops that allows us to do this.

The magnifying glass icon toggles between Zoom in and Zoom out, the way it is displayed in the image, it is zoomed out.

The categories


I need everyone's help on this part when it comes to placing certain items in certain categories.
What I have in mind is the following :

Every item that goes on your avatars head should appear in the head category such as "Scar of Hero, Elven Ears, etc.".
What I define as accessories would be items such as scarves, crowns, gloves, back items and neck items. So an Angelic Scarf should be placed in the category accessories instead of Torso.

If anyone disagrees with this, please state why and how it could be used instead.

Equippable Items


Not much to be said here.

Poses Window


This slides out of the wardrobe window from the left.

Equipped Item Window


This is where all equipped items appear. The tab icon that views all icons showing 11 means those are the items in total you equipped.

Equipped Item Positions Window


And finally, when the item is already equipped, you can still change the position.

Now I would like to thank you all for your help, before updating the image, I was looking through all posts in this thread and if there is still something bothering you about it, do not hesitate to say so.

This is beautiful, and the ones in charge of the avatar creation page will see it. I can't promis more, since this is not really my department.

I do have one suggestion: hair. I didn't have time to read the whole thread, so I don't know if it's been mentioned, but I would create a link from the avatar customization page directly to the Salon Durem (or even go one step further and incorporate the Salon into the interface, but that would hurt the Salon as a store, so I'm not sure about that).

Wait, I don't understand how the current tabs would cause confusion to the average user. Since, you know, after a few times of using the dress up feature we'd learn. Not to mention that they're pretty clear already. Eh, the dress up system is fine as is.

I always get confused with the "accessories" and "items" tab. It's basically the same thing, but divided in two..

Like I said in our PM, I think that zooming in and out on the avatar to where you want would be better than having a set size.

Other than that, I also think that scrolling over the different sections and getting a brief description as to what they are would also be good. Like "Accessories: items that are still on your avatar but are not part of the basic clothing", "Items: Things are are around your avatar or that you hold.". It could clear up a little confusion. 3nodding
