I'm pushing this up for more people to see...but sadly, I don't think ANY paid Gaia Staff even read the SF threads anymore D':

If nothing else, it will give all those people who are too full of rage-juice something constructive to read rather than the other 99% of the threads that call for the head of "He-Who-Shan't-Be-Named or want to blow up the site.

Man,,,, I remember the days when the userbase community was so tight that even a whiff of a plot to DOS or DDS or whatever it was that 4-chan might possibly do to Gaia got everyone whipped into a wonderfully wild frenzy of Camaraderie and "Team Spirit", with Gaia being EVERYONE'S Team. *le sigh*.... the good old days when all Gaians had to fear were other nerds from other sites coming to rain on Gaia's party. That, and getting Rick Rolled lol

I sadly fear this brilliantly done thread will fall on deaf ears as to me it is blantently obvious Gaia doesn't give a s**t about its users, we can beg and plead for them not to destroy themselves and their relationship with us but like a bad alcoholic husband they will continue to knock us down and like the idiots we are we will still claim it can change it cant people its about time we moved to a site that CAN appreciate us.

This is amazing, perfect advice. Truly, it is. But the problem is and always will be the same: Gaia. Doesn't. Care. They don't give a damn about maintaining the site or presenting themselves as a trustworthy business. As long as they can get their instant gratification, nothing else matters to them.

I remember, back when TinierMe.com shut down and we had that huge welcoming forum for the refugees from said site, hearing awful stories about how TinierMe selfishly and greedily scammed and schemed and ignored and milked their members for all of the money that they had. And I remember thinking to myself, "How terrible! I feel so sorry for the members who invested so much time amd money in that site, only be be highly disappointed."

And I was so thankful that Gaia was absolutely nothing like TinierMe in that aspect. But then, well...Gaia hired it's current greedy, cold-hearted, money-hungry, insensitive CEO and Gaia became even WORSE. And it won't change. No matter how many threads like this that people post. No matter how many guilds revolt. No matter how many anti GC logos and slogans are placed in signatures. No matter how loud we shout, scream or cry.

Gaia has proven already that they have their own agenda, an agenda that focuses solely on filling their pockets, and that they intend to stand by their crooked beliefs down to the very last day of this site's existence.

So let it go, darling. It's over.

There's a post somewhere by Uncle Kenny I believe openly stating that the site has put things on the backburner (won't be updating them) if they aren't making money for them

I can't find the exact post at the moment where it was said things wouldn't be worked on unless they make money - my guess that's in the Sept 27th AtA
