Official Item Suggestion Thread (READ FIRST POST!)

Besides my fourth-ing the motion of bringing back simpler more original monthly collectables, I would like to add a cool item idea that would be great.(since it's so great, forgive me if it's already been suggested *and yes i read the list of previously suggested items*) I'll warn you though, it isn't exactly an item, it's a concept for as many items that apply...

ANIMATED ITEMS!!! Such as...

-tobacco items that have smoke that really flows like smoke!
-dripping wet items that actually have dripping water!
-weapons on fire where the fire is moving!
-wings that really flutter!(and when you equip them on your avitar, you choose the speed they flutter at!)
-and my personal favorite because it's an actual ITEM I made up...HAIR THAT REALLY FLOWS IN THE BREEZE!!!

There's so many more items you could come up with that are animated, and if we make enough suggestions, they might actually do it!

There's only one thing I want right at the moment, and that is a desert background. There are two ways I can think of to get this:

1. A background item! With various backgrounds like desert, jungle, ocean. (HOWEVER, it appears that most EIs have backgrounds that fit with their theme, like the Nestegg having a beach background. This leads me to my second suggestion...)

2. A desert-themed item or EI! I was delighted with this month's (January '10) collectable items because they were at least partially desert-themed. I want something with good backgrounds, though--sand dunes or a flat desert or something like Sedona, Arizona would be gorgeous, background-wise. Similarly, an item like this would allow for all sorts of animals and styles of clothing.


That's all I ask, guys. I would LOVE an item like this. If you don't want to do an EI or something like this, though, I understand--it looks like you've got plenty of suggestions already.

I am not trolling. neutral This is going to sound politically incorrect, but I would like to suggest an evolving item that represents the story of Little Black Sambo. Although Langston Hughes felt it was a "pickaninny" story and hurtful to black children, it is a story from 1899 that few children have heard in this day. I don't think it is racist at all. It is actually about an Indian (Asian) child named, "Sambo" who has a fancy suit of clothes shoes and umbrellas that are coveted by four tigers. You coudl change the name of the item to something other than the name that sets off alarm bells, and the link provides a PC version, if you check it out.

I got the idea when I saw you named one of the January 2010 items "Majnun." This put me in mind of the story, possibly because I recall how much we Gaians test the frontiers of cultural diversity with wit and sass but a lot of love and fun.

I dont know if this has been suggested or not, too many pages to read through to find out. Anyway, I would love to see more wigs, especially with long har, and each coud have different color and style options.
Also more long, flowing skirts that are not an MC. Have you noticed there arent ANY long black skirts? If there are, I have never seen one. I would love to have a long skirt with color options included.

Also, I dont know if this is the right forum for this suggestion, but I would like to see more housing items. We always see new avatar, car and tank items, but nothing for our houses.
