neutral This is going to sound politically incorrect, but I would like to suggest an evolving item that represents the story of
Little Black Sambo. Although Langston Hughes felt it was a "pickaninny" story and hurtful to black children, it is a story from 1899 that few children have heard in this day. I don't think it is racist at all. It is actually about an Indian (Asian) child named, "Sambo" who has a fancy suit of clothes shoes and umbrellas that are coveted by four tigers. You coudl change the name of the item to something other than the name that sets off alarm bells, and the link provides a PC version, if you check it out.

I got the idea when I saw you named one of the January 2010 items "Majnun." This put me in mind of the story, possibly because I recall how much we Gaians test the frontiers of cultural diversity with wit and sass but a lot of love and fun.
