For some reason, I get the feeling that they brought out Flynns booty again for a reason, like they're trying to purposely throw a lot of gold into the system so they can see how effective their new up and coming gold sink is. But that might just be me.

That could be it.
I think it's more to get us to spend money to fuel their sister site, though.
That's what I've been saying ever since I found out they were trying to launch one.

Lol, if it was April Fools, I might have given Gaia some props. But that email was just plain silly any other day.

Sadly Siska and the others even admitted it's real after the survey mishap.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the survey and email were not directly related, right? Because if that email led to THAT survey, then it was not appropriate ANY day, April Fools or not.

I remember when the DASH armour came out. I quested for months to afford it, I remember being so happy around the Christmas period when an anon gifted me the final piece I needed.

Now I'm just like "Meh, new item, I'll ******** about with it on Tektek". I haven't bought a new item for months, anything new that I have is sent to me by a friend who is just trying to get rid of the 20 odd million gold she's accumulated throughout the few years she's been here.

...Actually tell a lie, I bought the navy DASH armour I'm wearing. That is really all I've bought in the past 6 months or so.

I honestly can't remember the last time I bought anything. I don't even really keep gold. I donate it and participate in the Anon threads during the events. Though that unfortunately is going to stop with the inflation. I gave up on questing and getting stuff, and just simply don't have the money to buy GC since I like paying my bills. I see some the price on some of this stuff and wish I had more of them so I could just give them to people. Hell with the exception of Halloween time or various contests I have a single avi I use. It rarely changes. I just have no motivation to try to get the gold to get other parts. It is almost impossible for me.

I post in forums and stockpile gold, then use it to buy people gifts at Christmas as an anon. Back in the 04 - 06 years I had so many anons being so generous, heck one of them gave me a Compass of the Seidth a couple of years back. So now I stockpile my gold to give back to the community.
