back in the old days of around 06 my sister and i would buy gc quite often. i dont even want to think about how much we spent because of this side lol. seeing how the site is being run now im very very happy that i havent purchased any in years and i dont plan on buying it anytime soon either. the only reason i was on this site before was the guilds, but those are pretty much dead. now the only reason i stay is because of the people ive met in the pets forum who ive been talking to years.

but im 26 so i doubt gaia really cares what i think about it

Why shouldn't they care what we think? We're the users who've been on this site for years. Shouldn't the opinions of loyal, long-term users be important? Should we not matter because we don't or can't spend our real life money on this site? I don't think that's fair.

Why shouldn't they care what we think? We're the users who've been on this site for years. Shouldn't the opinions of loyal, long-term users be important? Should we not matter because we don't or can't spend our real life money on this site? I don't think that's fair.

Yeah, these conditions are bad, but they're not bad enough to make the users as a whole take action.

They're approaching that level of minimal-satisfaction, where a lot of users are fed up and willing to do something, to not buy GC.

But some users still are. As long as Gaia's 'quotas' are met, if they have any, they'll continue to do as they have done. Whatever brings home the money, they'll do.

It's going to be a cluster**** when Gaia hits that 'not-satisfied' mark.

Gaia doesnt care that ive bren here since 04 and they dint care that I hate how the sote is being run. All they see when they look at my account is someone who isnt spending money. And as long as they are still making enough profit to stay afloat then who cares about a couple hundred users who refuse to spend money because they are unhappy

If they stoppes making enough money then they will either start listening to its users or they will go to the website graveyard

And at the moment they are making me happy enough where I do still get on to tall to friends, but not happy enough where im going to give them any money

I would love to see them not make their quota for a month. I wanna see what they would do. If only more of the users could see that we are the ones Gaia has to satisfy, and we can get what we want. But so many just do not want too close their wallets... burning_eyes

I first joined in 2008 and during that time i thought Gaia was awesome. I made many friends and RP even heavily play zOMG! cause its super fun still it today in my own opinion. However i was away for a year to adjust my new life in college and when i came back i was extremely shock on what has happen to the marketplace.

I notice how the once "expensive" items that i knew i would never be able to get since i try to al least make 100k back then but now millions are a joke thanks to these gold generators. I have never bought GC i always complete offers since i refuse to spend money and i still refuse to do so. I remember when the item Zodiacal first came out i fell in love with it and bust my butt off to try to save and play zOMG! even more to make 2 mil now a days it is being sold for 30bil!! like WHAT!? now i can never get it. but i will still try to get it i hope the market deflate soon that is the one item i really been working hard to get i now have 1 bil and i feel hollow like sure back then i would be so happy and in shock but that amount is just as low as 100k or even less. Now i try to get by on raising gold by GO Fusion since alchemy is way too pricey. the daily go fusion packs sure help with me crafting but it's just barely helping make any GG for me to save to get the Zodiacal item.


Enough rambling on i just can only hope now the market deflation goes well and to help raise gold i might have to open an art shop or something and play zOMG! to the extreme (which i don't mind summer break man and it is fun). Thats my thoughts on the matter.

Gotta blame the new CEO that came in right in early 2013. There was a BIG topic some months ago on how the new head poncho came in and how the rise on the gold and economy just rose like balloon like no tomorrow and the shady back-story that he had, and how the last place that he was head off, the site was in bankrupt.

I'm not sure how I feel about using the Occupy campaigns in relation to Gaia. The Occupy Protests mean a lot in my country and government and fights against real police brutality. This doesn't seem right im relation to Gaia, I love Gaia but I am also sad about the inflation. Nevertheless I wish you good luck on this petition smile
