I tracked all the announcements that Gaia made over the month of March, and recorded how many were advertisements for items bought with real money.

The results:

Of 217 total advertisements, 206 were advertisements. That's 95%.

Fellow Gaian, there are cash shop items that are worth over 60 dollars (which are bundles). You could treat yourself to your best local steakhouse with money leftover with that cost.

it seems like there are at least 5 GC shop reminders every day. i don't even read announcements anymore because that's all it ever is, i just spam click through them until the notification is gone. i don't understand how they can pump out so many new items in such a short span of time, but i haven't been motivated to buy any new items in 4+ years. it's just not interesting or exciting (or reasonable) anymore.

and the people who are running this are just downright greedy. i understand you need money for a sight to run. but you could have done it another way.
i dont want to see this sight crash. i really want to see a million more users. we need someone to get a hold of the ceo or whatever and slap him cuz this has to STOP
