Excuse my French, but this bullshit has to stop!

Everyday I get annoyed and saddened by the 10 announcements about sales that are only in the cash shop. The only focus of the site now are items and bundles that can be purchased through the cash shop.

There is nothing left for the rest of us.

If we don't spend real money, it's virtually impossible to get a desired avatar or item.
We are left to struggle as the other 1% rake in the gold and precious items.
Then when they sell such items on the MP the amounts they go by are completely ridiculous.

I remember I once got a $25 cash card from my mom.
I bought a bundle that had saite ciel storage and a few other things.
Back then you could get that item on the MP for about 700-800k, which seemed high then, the price now for the same item is about 12 million gold or more

I could go on about many problems, but the point being that the sales and the exclusion of many community members is the main problem.

We can't enjoy the site because we can't even wish for items any more.
They are not obtainable! They are simply wishes on stars in another galaxy.

The whole point of this site is suppose to be (imo) about the community, and about the avatar.
It's suppose to be about creating something that represents you, or a character, and is suppose to be fun...

recently this site isn't fun

the only reason I stay is because of the friends I have made...

this may be the wrong area to put all this and im not good at wrapping this all up but i've been upset with gaia for awhile and feel I have nowhere to go with my thoughts (if someone knows where, direct me to a place where I can state my opinion on recent events)

I agree with ones before me that have said they miss the story of gaia and the events that took place

im literally waiting for them to rerelease the angelic halo for $30
ive been here on multiple accounts since 2004 or so and it's overwhelming how much its crashed
i remember when we would get maybe 1 or 2 announcements per week that were centered around the site having to go down for a bit or a community-based event
now we get 5 announcements- sorry, advertisements- a day that target our wallets.
it's sad we dont have lanzer or any of the original makers any more. gaia is devolving rapidly and i think after 11 years ppl are just waiting to call it quits.
i dont come on here that often but i still log on here every 14 months or so and its an uglier site every time- inflation is beyond horrendous and beyond fixable.
if only websites had time machines
