'04 member here (had to move accounts due to a sibling issue) I am currently in the "rewards" Club Verge for having spent x amount of GC in a year, and I'm here to say that I'm ******** pissed. I thought, that when they said REWARD that I was going to get some cool stuff for great price breaks or something for helping keep them alive. NOPE I got hounded for 50$ of my paycheck to help keep them alive. For some pixels? I'll pass. I had been signed up with autocash for 3 years, and now I'm no longer signed on, because you get two items a month that are colored strangely, and don't match anything else on the site.

TL;DR: GET YOUR s**t TOGETHER GAIA FOR THE LOVE OF YOUR ORIGINAL PLAYERS

I was reading through the list and I'm a little uncomfortable with the "hoarding bannable" part of it. What exactly constitutes hoarding? Does it apply to game and alchemy items? What about Gaians who pool their gold to purchase a large number of an item, to distribute between themselves with the discount of bulk?

Honestly I was going to originally have collected multiples of certain items to sell them at a slightly higher price on the MP, and make a profit. Now I can't afford it (I don't even have one measly mil) and especially not so with the Zimbabwe inflation going on.

Look, this is a private company that is affecting the scale of a few bitter kids-young adult's wallets. (most of which, I'm more than sure are complaining about having to spend their parent's money and not their own).

Where as occupy was against a conglomerate of businessmen affecting the economy in a county where the GINI index is increasing hella. Occupy led to deaths.

Gaia is a business,and those go for profit. And they have a right to and are not harming the American Public by doing so. Money makes the site a better place.

I hope one day when you're older, not assuming age. You'll realize that some things are made to get money and you'll realize that wanting money isn't a bad thing! And maybe you'll realize that this site and it making you pay for certain things is nothing new or particularly harmful. Stuff like this is ubiquitous.

I remember when I sent in my $5 for my MCs in an envelope through snail mail to get MCs.
I would wait in anticipation until I got a PM, confirming they received my "donation."
Those were the good ol' days.

there are so many people in SF that claim to boycott against GC
but as soon as the new RiG comes out with shiny new pixels, they cave in and buy w/ GC anyway, in hopes the site will assume a positive direction in the future even tho they themselves are the ones destroying it

idek what people are thinking, if shiny new pixels make you go back on your words to "boycott GC because it's bad for the economy", then clearly you don't care about this site enough because you keep on fueling the economy, which is in deep s**t right now

I support you 100% I cant stand GC i dont see how you can charge someone 50$ RL money for 1 ******** item i remember when Gaia was fun now its more of a chore i have to sell half my invo just to get 1-2 items from the MP stressed i get the whole they need some how to pay for the site and the ppl to make it but now i feel the GM have just gotten greedy. I would say give back to the gaians that have been playing for the past 10 years but they would find some way to make money even then evil what they should do is anyone that never or hasn't gotten GC in the past 5 years should get 5k GC just for putting up with the ppl that buy GC bull sh!t

i realise this site is a business but that doesnt mean that they are allowed to treat loyal customers like trash

of course as the fanbase grew it got more expensive to run so they introduced mcs and they kept expanding more and more with different payment options
and stuff to buy

and i understand they need to make money more now but they could do it in a less self destructive way

and theres that selfish arguement that i asked you to avoid nicely
i am less worried about me than i am about the fate of this site
if gaia gets worse and worse with customer service their userbase will dwindle and THEY WONT MAKE MONEY TO KEEP THE SITE RUNNING

it might not be a big deal to you but there will be artists like reapersun that would be potentially out of a job

not once have i seen a discount on here
discounts entice customers to buy more
