I don't know or gaia could shut down the marketplace for a few days, wait for all the items to be cleared out. Reset the marketplace and have a preselected price on a item so users will sell around their. I.e Item is showing AVB 500k so they list their item as 510k. While earlier the week or last week the item was listing around 3mill. Idk, it might work outsmart the userbase and fix the economy. No idea, I am getting slightly depressed with the vibe on gaia now.

Or they could stop releasing Flynn themed gaia cash-to-gold items constantly, flooding the site with an abundance of gold. I'm holding onto my gold for these gold shop updates that are supposed to be coming. But they better not be charging over 100k or something for items in it. s**t needs to be priced AFFORDABLY for people. Not anywhere near dernier cri prices.

I barely got any gold, gonk I am too lazy to vend. Also I have a habit of donating lmao. I hope the Loyal update is soon though, I want to see what goodies are in store!

By their definition of "great deals" and "sales", I'm curious to see their definition of loyal in that context.

I'd like to be added to the list. The reason why I joined this site was due to seeing the cash cards at Walmart, but more for the little avatars on the cards, not the cards themselves. Seeing the greed behind the cash shops is sad, but I've never really gotten into cash, and have no plans to begin, either.

Honestly if I had the gold, and if there were more interesting things and if there were things released more often in Dernier*Cri, I would and I'm sure other people would spend more gold in there. There's probably only 4 or 5 items I like in that store. It's a worthy goldsink, but it doesn't work because there's just not enough of a variety of things that people would want to spend their gold on. While I've yet to even save up enough gold to buy anything from that store, but nonetheless, they just need more/better things in there.

Please sign me up! I'm so tired of all the pretty and awesome items being strictly either gcash only or priced ridiculously for TONS of gold that I don't have. It's gotten out of control! I'll pledge not to buy gcash until this is resolved, if it ever does get resolved. The cash shop items have better quality than gold shop items and it's really unfair. They could simply set fixed prices in MP like lots of other websites have it. (Wizard101, for example, has an algorithm that sets the price of items automatically depending on demand and supply)

If that were to happen, we would lose our free market. No offense to the lovely Gaia, but I would
be afraid of what could happen to our market if they were in complete control. Although I would
love for prices to return to what they were before the Flynn's Booty/Chest fiasco, it will take an
abundance of gold sinks to accomplish it. The problem is not the prices at which items are being
sold at. In fact, the higher the prices and if users are purchasing at said prices, the more gold will
be removed from the system due to the marketplace tax. However since this is a slow process,
gold sinks will be needed to fully correct the marketplace. The prices are where they are now because
users with the excess Flynn gold can purchase them. If no one was buying, deflation would occur.

Have any of the white knights changed their opinions yet about all this or are they still okay with gaia totally shifting their approach towards us? Cuz to me, gaia used to be like, "you wanna cookie, Reen Star?" The cookie being a donation item or improved or new, loved site feature ( like gaia cinemas). I would be all, "yes please!" And give them my little allowance (my lunch money) or a hug (participating and helping the site to grow by being a regular member).

Now, however, it feels like gaia is asking me, "hey, Reen Star. You wanna cookie x bajillion (all the cash shop pushes in such a short amount of time)". And I pick out a flavor and they're expecting me to pay them with grocery money. They're like damn annoying Girl Scouts now that can't take a hint.

Careful with using the term "white knight". Users have been getting posts deleted and accounts banned for using it to describe Gaia's defenders. I got a post deleted last night for using it.
