The ads showing up in the wrong places is just a bug, according to Fleep. And it seems that they fixed the placement of the ad that blocks your avatar in the Dressing Room, because I'm not experiencing that at all.

The ad stuff is not part of the April Fool's Event (honest). We're busting some caches so new ad placements show up in the right places. The fact that they're jumping all over the place is just a bug.

On the other hand, I don't get what the April Fools joke of this year is? I read that one of them involves Tektek, but I seldom go there unless I want to play around with the Dream Avatar creator. Sorry Gaia, but I think your Omnidrink one was better (and more noticeable IMO).

Did I say anything about that? No. I'm just readdressing what Fleep said because apparently, almost everyone is complaining about the ads showing up in the wrong places, like over their avatar in the dressing room. They seem to think that it's an April Fools joke when it isn't.

And I do have Adblock Plus on Firefox. Except I'm at college right now on the library computer, where their only browser is Internet Explorer and you can't install/download stuff.

I have Adblock Plus for Firefox and the ads are STILL popping up. Only they're not the ads, they're giant empty boxes that ruin the page format with "ADVERTISEMENT" obnoxiously emblazoned upon them.

This is getting sorted out as well. We've made some changes to how ads are being served. We're running into some (non-Event-related) hiccups. This should be working as-expected soon.
