More item variety please

It's been more than half a year since I came back and the items in the cash shop are still the same, out of trend recolors of the same items that get recycled. Same themes, same content, same all cutesy things on repeat. Can we have more artists? It's like Gaia only has 1 artist that keeps recycling things in the same style with little edits to the details here and there. How many floral items do we need?!

Anyhoo, my point is, after a long hiatus, nothing seems to change and Gaia still lacks variety, making it uninspiring to spend on here. Gaia has brought nothing new to the table in terms of variety or useful cosplay items, just strange recolors that go out of style, and the same styles in different variations. I'd hope for some change after a long break, to my disappointment Gaia is still stuck with the same things on repeat. Makes me think artists only do what they want or like and not listen to feedback from users that have been begging for variety or something new

My eyes can't stand seeing the same things on repeat, it's literally a scam if you buy the same thing in different shades of pink or the same designs/themes but with little to no difference

Or perhaps Gaia does the same thing on repeat on purpose so users can fork out hundreds and thousands of dollars to create custom items or recolors

Agreed. I’m tired of all the cutesy/frilly crap that constantly gets put out. They need to look at real world trends from across the globe and for the love of Gaia, GIVE US SOME GOOD MALE ITEMS!!

We're told the item artists are simply making what sells. I hoped that with the site getting out of bankruptcy and it now having an investor who shares the same vision, maybe we could see more diversity. However, it's hard to really tell if anything has changed.

More artists means more money, to pay them. Gaia is a relic in the sense that, forums have gone by the wayside in the landscape of the internet. Forums, and avatars. This is very niche, and they need to make money. Which I hate to say so friggin' much, lemme tell you. It sucks so much.

I want there to be growth, and expansion, but this concept? It's ancient. I don't want to lose the forums, or them to do something like "Gaia Tiktok" to get clicks and revenue, but I want the site to thrive and grow as itself.




Despite all that. I agree that there needs to be more masculine items made, especially. While it's gotten better from '07, there's still much more that could be done.
