Happy Monday everyone! Thanks so much for the continued feedback over the weekend. I've passed along your suggestions and ideas to the ads team, as well as your feedback on why you will or will not white-list ads on Gaia.

As always, if you have any more ideas, let us know! biggrin

I thought you were starting to understand why people were blocking advertisements (listening to our feedback); yet you just released an announcement where you promote them even more (with new special items). Apparently you didn't listen to us at all.. it's very disappointing. I guess money from ads is way more important than Gaians site experience.

the disable ads box is checked on my account, and it says I have 19 days of ad free-ness but I'm still seeing advertisements all over the place. Honestly I find most ads noisy and bothersome but they wont go away...>.<

I you paid gaia cash to get no ads, does that prevent you from getting the new ad items?

Adding my voice to the chorus of refusing to disable adblock until Gaia starts screening their ads. There are several sites I'm more than happy to turn my adblock off for but the ads on Gaia really are far too obnoxious and take up too many resources, not to mention a tendency towards malware and inappropriate content, I first started using adblock on Gaia because of the Russian bride and auto-play video ads.

on my adblock for chrome extension, you just click on the abp stop sign in your url bar, and uncheck 'enable for this site'

A great topic on these Ads. I been wondering how to do this for some time since there has been rare cases that the Ad-blocker seem to stop the site from loading up.

i keep the ads runing. Most of them show up ok. and of them i Like the DBZ one. So ya when it is the right topick i would even buy from one. sweatdrop so i don`t think i would ever Lock them.
Some are for people a bit too old i think. Never found any one on gaia over 47 years old.
i don`t see any that any one would think kids can`t Look at. i know some on gaia are 10 or maybe under. i am right in the middle and i shope online more then a bit.
i know it takes $ to keep a website up so ya your ads are ok.
