Gaia DESPERATELY needs new moderators.

To be perfectly honest, I'm half-tempted to do what I can to meet the requirements and apply, given that I have an abundance of free time, but if they haven't actually been hiring any new people... Eh, I may give it a shot anyway.

Regardless, this is something that absolutely needs to be a priority. You can't put hiring moderators on the back burner if you have a site where one of the most prominent features is a forum. That's just asking for trouble.

I placed in an application over six months ago and only got the rejection PM last week due to not having enough of the reports sent in. Well, at the time of the application sent, I had 100+; but I guess they look at the amount whenever they look at it. They did note in the PM that they'll look at the application again in 30 days to see if the reports are back up to 100+. So, I've been working my butt off for the spammers, misplaced threads, etc. I haven't gone into either one of the Towns for years, so I am heavily relying on the threads, posts, and bots alone.

I got the rejection PM as well but this was in December of 2016, & it was because the application was so old & delayed responses from the team as the admin had said in the pm. So I went ahead & applied again but, again this was in December of 16. I guess they still haven't gotten around to starting a new round of training. I actually forgot aout this thread until it popped up in my feed thing.

I filed a ticket for this because 1T went missing (I had a open trade for a long time) and the mod hasn't replied to me in like a year

EDIT: Turns out they are not even a mod anymore so what MY CASE GETS DROPPED?

i can assure you that gaia is actively working on more mods on gaia. it just takes time they got to make sure the people will be fair, accurate and have neutral feelings regardless of what others want them to do.
patience is a virtue on this issue ok
